The Study for Principles and Conceptual Models of Quality Management in Virtual Enterprise

Virtual enterprise is considered as the leading enterprise paradigm of 21st century. Based on the study of a lot of literature on VE, this paper summarizes 7 hypotheses about VE. By comparing the quality management of VE with that of traditional enterprises, 2 key points on quality management of VE were drawn. Firstly, the quality management of VE is a coordinating management; secondly, the management of quality information exchange is the key part of VE's quality management. Furthermore, 5 principles that should be observed by the design of the quality management system of VE are given. Then, the concepts of VE's product module and quality task and the relationship between them are proposed. The conceptual model of the quality management of VE in manufacture process is established and explicated.

Plasmids from Bacillus thuringiensis have been implicated in pathogenicity as they carry the genes responsible for different types of diseases that in mammals and insects. A novel serogroup (H3a3b3d), B. thuringiensis strain K4 which showed mosquitocidal activity against Anopheles sinensis and Culex pipiens pallens, was isolated from fallen leaves in Mungyeong city, Republic of Korea. In contrast to the complicated plasmid profiles of B. thuringiensis H3 serotype strains, the strain K4 (designated as serovar mogi) had only one large plasmid (>200kb) on which the toxin genes were occasionally located. A 454 pyrosequencing was used for the complete sequencing of the large plasmid. The sequence analysis showed that k4 plasmid had at least seven putative cry genes, ending up to showing 84%, 75%, 73%, 58%, 84%, 39% and 75% homology with Cry27Aa, Cry19Ba, Cry20-like, Cry56Aa, Cry39ORF2, Cry8Ba and Cry40ORF2 toxins in amino acids, respectively. This novel 3a3b3d type strain, B. thuringiensis serovar mogi, can be used as a good resource for studying unknown mosquitocidal cry genes. The E. coli-B. thuringiensis shuttle vector, pHT1K was used to clone these cry genes for characterization. In each clone, the level of transcription and production of crystal proteins will be investigated in near the future.

In the 30 years since the adoption of Policy of Reform and Opening up towards foreign investments, China has experienced two unique eras of policy. Each era is characterized by a distinct set of policy concerns and incentives unique from the other. Prior to its accession into the World Trade Organization (WTO) the first phase focused on fostering foreign investment, with a focus on raising capital and acquiring technology for rapid industrialization. Subsequent to its entry into the WTO, China`s second phase focused towards global economic integration via satisfaction of its commitments to the WTO. The focus on global integration has become a key factor in shaping China`s modified approach to its regulation of foreign investments.

The diagnosis of latent Mycobacterium tuberculosis infection (LTBI) is recommended in hematological malignancy patients and before hematopoietic stem cell transplantation (Guidelines for the prevention and management of infectious complications of solid organ transplantation, 2004). Compared to traditional methods such as tuberculin skin test (TST), T-SPOT.TB has been shown to be more specific. In the present study we enrolled 536 patients for whom T-SPOT.TB was performed, among which 295 patients also received the TST test. The agreement (79%) between T-SPOT.TB and TST was poor (x=0.274, P<0.001). The patients with positive T-SPOT.TB results numbered 62 (11.6%), in which only 20 (48.8%) of the 41 receiving the TST test had positive results. A majority of the patients with T-SPOT.TB positive results had some other evidence ofTB, such as TB history, clinical symptoms and an abnormal chest CT scan. Active TB was found in 9 patients, in which 2 had negative TST results. We followed up the patients and no one developed active TB. Our study suggested that the T-SPOT.TB may be more useful for screening LTBI and active TB in hematological malignancy patients and hematopoietic stem cell transplant recipients than the TST test.
Association of Urinary Cesium with Breast Cancer Risk

Background: The aim of this study is to examine the association of urinary cesium with breast cancer risk. Materials and Methods: We collected survey data and urine specimens from 240 women with incident invasive breast cancer before their treatment and 246 age-matched female controls between October 2009 and July 2010. Urinary concentrations of cesium were determined by inductively coupled plasma mass spectrometry. Interviews were conducted by face-to-face to obtain information on potential breast cancer risk factors. Logistic regression analysis was used to estimate the associations. Results: Creatinine-adjusted levels [median ($25^{th}$, $75^{th}$) ug/g] of cesium in cases and controls were 17.6 (13.1, 24.0) and 19.3 (15.3, 25.7), respectively. After adjustment for potential risk factors, women in the second and highest tertile of cesium showed a decreased risk of breast cancer in a dose-dependent manner as compared with those in the lowest tertile [ORs and 95% CIs: 0.75 (0.46-1.22) and 0.50 (0.30-0.82), respectively]. This decrease was more evident in women with ER positive or localized clinical stage in an exploratory stratification analysis. Conclusions: These findings suggest that cesium may have anticancer efficacy and urinary cesium has potential as a biomarker for breast cancer risk assessment.

The behavioral and mental characteristic of tourist with different age and their estimation to landscape was investigated by research methods such as behavior observation, accessing and questionnaire investigation on spot, which may give an advice on design of space on water in sightseeing agricultural park.

The activation of outdoor play, they perceive "the equipment of outdoor play space and facilities for the variety of activities" and "the development of various programs for the outdoplay". Most institutions have set up the specific action plans but considerable institutions have not set up the action plans yet Compared to the private kindergartens and corporate daycare centers, public kindergartens don"t tend to set up the action plans. The frequently conducted outdoor actiuty is "the play with the use of facilities", "strolling" and "natural dbservation". The results are as follows; First, In the kindergarten facilities for physical, cognitive, social, emotional development, all that appears to lack of creativity. Second, Analyze form, materials, colors, and design characteristics, material is an ingredient in plastics and hard, cold feeling is rather used.

Bacillus thuringiensis (Bt) is characterized by its ability to synthesize crystal toxins and also able to produce bacteriocins such as thuricin, tochicin, entomocin and bacthuricin. The present work, for the first time, describes the biological activity of bacteriocins from B. thuringiensis subsp. cameroun (Btc). Supernatant which was produced from a liquid culture of Btc had antimicrobial activity against various Bt subspecies, ending up to making a inhibition zone on an agar medium. A significant reduction in antimicrobial activity was observed when the supernatant was exposed to heat at 47~50°C for 15 min. Proteins were separated from the supernatant by a fast protein liquid chromatography (FPLC) given the thermal instability. A group of FPLC fractions had antimicrobial activity against Bt subsp. palmanyolensis, israelensis, 1-3, morrisoni, toguchini and kurstaki and a Bacillus. cereus ATCC21768, ATCC14579 and NRRLB-569. Interestingly, when the supernatant was individually incorporated into the liquid cultures of Bt subsp. israelensis (Bti) and mogi (Btm) with mosquitocidal activity, a vegetative cell growth was observed only in the Btm culture 10 h post-incubation. A possible recovery of vegetative Btm cell growth was observed, compared to a control without the supernatant. These results suggest that Btc produced proteinous antimicrobial substances, one of which may be used as a selection marker to separate Btm after possibly conjugating the two mosquitocidal strains.
