In this paper, I argue about the so-called Korean copula ida; firstly, it is neither a substantial verb nor an affix, but just a dummy verb which supports sentential modals as like do-support in English. Predication relationship in ida constructions is formed between Noun Phrases which constitute Small Clauses. Secondly, such syntactic and semantic properties of ida yield morphological and phonological dependency(i.e. palatalization) of it. Thirdly, anida that is the negation of ida can be analyzed to two parts in syntactic level: the negation adverb ani and the dummy verb ida. This explains why anida can license Negative polarity items.

This experiment was carried out to enhance plantlet conversion and ex vitro survival of encapsulated somatic embryos of Siberian ginseng. Cotyledonary somatic embryos were encapsulated with 3.0% sodium alginate and 96% of conversion rate in terms of plantlet with well-developed epicotyl marked when the encapsulated embryos were placed on perlite soils wetted with sucrose solution as for carbon source. However, post-germinative growth of encapsulated embryos was suppressed in case of sucrose did not added. Instead of sucrose alone, the addition of both sucrose and starch to the sodium alginate enhanced the post-germinative growth of the embryos. In sodium alginate matrix with 2% sucrose, the survival rate of the encapsulated embryos was more than twice (23.5%) that of ones without sucrose (10.0%). Embryos encapsulated with both 2% sucrose and 1% starch showed the highest percentage (42.1%) of survival rate was shown. In analysis of Iodine staining and starch content in the sodium alginate matrix, the starch component was decomposed when the embryos started to germinte. This result indicated that the carbohydrate treatments (starch and sucrose) in the encapsulation matrix enhanced the survival rate of post-germinative growth of encapsulated embryos in Siberian ginseng.
Estimation of Evapotranspiration Model for Seasonal Irrigation Control of Garlic

Irrigation amount and schedule is considered depend on the cultivation environments, cultural practices, crop species and it is necessary to estimate the water requirement accurately for efficient irrigation management. The purpose of this experiment is to estimate the amount of evapotranspiration of garlic (ETc) using the Penman-Monteith (P-M) equation in open field cultivation and to supply an appropriate amount of water per unit area for each season. The experiment was conducted from October 7, 2020 to June 16, 2021 at the open field of Kyungpook National University’s trial farm. Environmental data in terms of air temperature, wind speed, humidity, and solar radiation required for evapotranspiration amount (ETo) calculation were collected every 10 minutes in a data logger. The ETc was estimated by P-M equation. The average daily air temperature and relative humidity were maintained at 10.4°C and 52.7%, respectively during experiment periods. The daily average of ETo was approximately 5.9 mm and that increased at the late spring and the early summer cultivation season. When calculating seasonal ETo by four seasons based on 24 seasonal divisions, the daily averages of ETo were 6.07 mm, 4.92 mm, 6.42 mm, and 6.75 mm, respectively, autumn, winter, spring, and summer in sequence. ETo in winter was estimated to be lower than in other seasons, which is considered to be that crop transpiration was reduced due to dormancy. The ETc was calculated by multiplying ETo and the crop coefficient (Kc ini = 0.7, Kc mid = 1.0, and Kc end = 0.7). The seasonal average irrigation amount (ETc × cultivation area) per 10a was estimated 4.2 ton, 4.5 ton, 6.2 ton, and 4.7 ton, respectively. In addition, ETo increased from 200 days after transplanting, a period when the leaf senescence rate, bulb weight, and bulb diameter increased rapidly. Results founded that the seasonal irrigation amount of garlic estimated using the P-M equation can be applied for precise irrigation control.

Background/Aims: This study aimed to evaluate the efficacy and safety of emergency variceal ligation for the prevention of rebleeding in cirrhotic patients who are found on initial endoscopy to have blood clots in the stomach but no actively bleeding esophageal and gastric varices or stigmata. Methods: This study included 28 cirrhotic patients who underwent emergency prophylactic EVL and 41 who underwent an elective intervention between January 2009 and June 2014. Clinical outcomes were analyzed, including the rebleeding, 6-week mortality, and rebleeding-free survival rates. Results: The rebleeding rate was higher in the emergency than in the elective group (28.6% vs. 7.3%, P=0.041). Multivariate analysis showed that emergency prophylactic EVL (odds ratio [OR] = 7.4, 95% confidence interval [CI]=1.634.8, P=0.012) and Child-Pugh score C (OR=10.6, 95% CI=1.4-80.8, P=0.022) were associated with rebleeding. In the emergency group, the gastric varices were associated with rebleeding (OR=12.0, 95% CI=1.7-83.5, P=0.012). Conclusions: Emergency EVL may be associated with variceal rebleeding when blood clots are present in the stomach without active esophageal and gastric variceal bleeding or stigmata. Elective intervention should be considered as a safer strategy for preventing variceal rebleeding in this situation. (Clin Mol Hepatol 2016;22:466-476)

유비쿼터스 환경에서는 무선 네트워크 연결의 불안정으로 발생되는 비즈니스 프로세스의 부분 연결 문제를 관리하는 네트워크 상황정보와 개인 취향 정보, 사무 환경 정보들을 지능적으로 취합, 상황분석, 및 관리하는 서비스 개발이 요구된다. 본 논문에서는 비즈니스 프로세스의 유연한 상황정보 추론을 위하여 온톨로지 기반 상황인식 구조인 상황인식 추론 시스템을 제안하였다. 가상공간에 대한 구조를 정의하고 재사용이 가능한 컴포넌트로 일반적인 상황인식 메커니즘을 제공함에 따라 어플리케이션 개발 시 가상공간에서 상황인식 어플리케이션 구현에 대한 비용을 절감하고 복잡성을 줄여 확장성을 갖게 되었다.
