Coefficient Bounds for Bi-spirallike Analytic Functions
Soren, Madan Mohan,Mishra, Akshaya Kumar Department of Mathematics 2018 Kyungpook mathematical journal Vol.58 No.4
In the present paper, we introduce and investigate two new subclasses, namely; the class of strongly ${\alpha}$-bi-spirallike functions of order ${\beta}$ and ${\alpha}$-bi-spirallike functions of order ${\rho}$, of the function class ${\Sigma};$ of normalized analytic and bi-univalent functions in the open unit disk $$U=\{z:z{\in}C\;and\;{\mid}z{\mid}<1\}$$. We find estimates on the coefficients ${\mid}a_2{\mid}$, ${\mid}a_3{\mid}$ and ${\mid}a_4{\mid}$ for functions in these two subclasses.
USING CROWDFUNDING FOR DESIGN DRIVEN, NEW ENTREPRENEURIAL VENTURES
Soren Ingomar Petersen 한국디자인학회 2015 한국디자인학회 학술발표대회 논문집 Vol.2015 No.10
The main strategic advantage of design driven new entrepreneurial ventures’ consists of providing breakthrough innovative offerings while mitigating exposure to the disproportionately large risk. One way of managing this risk is for their design team to prototype and test the offering, rapidly releasing a series of improved minimal viable products (MVP). Online crowdfunding platforms are an attractive venue for design driven new entrepreneurial ventures to quickly and inexpensively test market adaption due to their high degree of visual user-interface. This paper explores the crowdfunding campaign process, together with the pros and cons of running campaigns and identifies early lead predictors for achieving a high level of pledging on a crowdfunding platform. Our contribution to the design and business literature consists of recommendations on how to apply online crowdfunding to establish and validate design - market opportunities for design driven new entrepreneurial ventures.

Fifty four crossbred gilts of 26.38${\pm}$0.85 kg body weight and 25 weeks of age were randomly divided into three groups, having six replicates of three animals each and were assigned to one of the three dietary treatments containing corn, wheat bran and rice bran (RB) at 35, 47 and 0% in $R_1$; 17.5, 23.5 and 41% in $R_2$ and 0, 0 and 82% in $R_3$. Soybean meal and fishmeal were used as source of protein at 10 and 6%, respectively, in all the rations. Average daily CP, DCP, DE and ME intake per kg $W^{0.75}$ and body weight gains were lowest (p<0.01) in gilts fed 82% RB ($R_3$), followed by $R_2$ and R1. Utilization of protein with respect to nitrogen balance and DCP conversion efficiency did not differ (p>0.05) between the treatment groups. All the gilts were in positive nitrogen balance. However, the excretion of dietary nitrogen and energy through faeces was higher (p<0.01) in gilts fed RB. However, the DE and ME conversion efficiency were higher (p<0.01) in gilts fed RB. Therefore, it can be concluded that the digestibility of energy and protein in diets containing rice bran goes on decreasing with the increasing level of fat and fibre, but the metabolizability of the energy and protein was better in pigs fed RB in the diet.

Business success and execution of design-centered ventures depends to a large extent on aligning design creativity with the venture’s chosen innovation type of either incremental or breakthrough innovation. Innovative ideas require a combination of focused effort synthesizing across domains for creating insights through the use of analogies. Although systematic searches and combinations can aid the process, experience tells us that many ideas need time to incubate. This study uses a questionnaire with a mixture of open and closed ended questions to explore the required focus effort, time delay, and inspirational activities conducive to idea generation together with the influence adequate sleep has on the incubation period. In conclusion, it prescribes an appropriate incubation scheduling time factor when undertaking the ideation phase in New Product Development. It offers suggestions to further ensure the emergence of ideas for breakthrough innovative designs.

Crossbred gilts (n=54) of about $26.38{\pm}0.85kg$ body weight and 25 weeks of age were randomly divided into 18 groups of 3 animals each. Three dietary treatments viz., $T_1$, $T_2$ and $T_3$ were formulated. The treatment $T_1$ containing maize grain (35%) and wheat bran (47%) along with soybean meal and fish meals served as control diet. Rice bran (RB) was selected as a single source of fat (13.02%) and fibre (17.12%), which was gradually increased in diets $T_2$ (41%) and $T_3$ (82%) replacing maize grain and wheat bran of $T_1$ at 50% and 100% in the diets $T_2$ and $T_3$, respectively. The fat and fibre levels of the diets were thus 3.46 and 5.24, 9.31and 9.69 and 11.61and 13.26% in $T_1$, $T_2$ and $T_3$, respectively. All the diets, however, contained almost similar concentration of CP (18.35${\pm}0.29%$). Each dietary treatment was offered to six replicated groups of 3 piglets in following completely randomized design and feeding was continued for 112 days during the growing phase. Growth, feed utilization, reproductive performance, nutrient utilization and different blood biochemical parameters were studied. Growth rate, feed intake and feed conversion were lower (p<0.01) in $T_3$ in comparison to $T_1$ or $T_2$. Digestibility of all the nutrients except EE was reduced significantly (p<0.01) in $T_3$. Serum glucose level decreased (p<0.01), whereas the urea and cholesterol concentration in the blood increased (p<0.01) in $T_3$. The duration of estrus of pigs fed diet containing 82% RB ($T_3$) was highly variable within the group, but all the groups showed statistically similar duration of estrous. Feed cost per unit gain was found to be comparable between control ($T_1$) and $T_2$ group. The results indicated that RB can be included up to 41% in swine diets replacing 50% of maize and wheat bran. Higher concentrations of ether extract and fibre beyond 9.31 and 9.69% in diet had detrimental effect on growth, nutrient utilization and reproductive performance.
