CREST syndrome is variant of scleroderma characterized by calcinosis, Raynaud's phenomena, esophageal dysmotility, sclerodactyly & telangiectasia. In the past, it was believed that CREST patients live longer than scleroderma because rare involvement of internal organ, but recently noted that CREST patients may die early by involvement of internal organ. Recently, authors experience one case of CREST syndrome associated with pericardial effusion, herein presenting our experience and literature and reviewed.

직사각형 슬릿 개구를 갖는 금속 함체에 수직, 수평 편파를 입사하여 차폐 효과를 연구하였다. 직사각형 슬릿 개구의 magnetic polarizability와 금속 함체의 공진 모드를 이론적으로 분석하였고, 이를 바탕으로 시뮬레이션 결과와 측정 결과를 비교 분석하였다. 또한, 함체 내부 프로브의 위치에 따른 차폐 효과 의존성도 분석하였다. Shielding effectiveness(SE) of metallic rectangular enclosure with rectangular slit apertures at horizontal polarization(HP) and vertical polarization(VP) is investigated. The magnetic polarizability of the rectangular slit apertures and the resonance modes of the metallic rectangular enclosure are analyzed theoretically. The simulation results based on these theoretical analyses are compared with the measured ones. The dependence of the shielding effectiveness on the location of the calculation probe inside the enclosure is also investigated.

Four cases of cryptococcal meningitis were experienced in Keimyung University Hospital during 11 years periods. These patients were one pregnant woman, one man who had liver cirrosis and diabetes mellitus and two healthy men. After admission, all four patients were treated with antituberculous agent under the impression of tuberculous meningitis, but no clinical improvement was achieved. Later, Crytococcus neoformans was identified in CSF by India ink preparation or Sabouraud media culture, after then one patient was treated with combination of amphotericin B and 5-fluorocytosine and achieved much clinical and laboratory improvement. Unfortunately other three patients were not followed. The authors experienced four cases of crytococcal meningitis and herein presenting our experience and literature were reviewed.

본 논문은 능동 소자의 스위칭 잡음이 함체 내부에 위치한 PCB에 인가될 때, 함체의 개구 방사에 미치는 영향을 분석한 연구이다. 이상적인 주기 펄스 입력 신호가 PCB에 인가된 경우의 개구 방사와 스위칭 잡음을 포함한 주기 입력 신호가 인가된 경우의 개구 방사를 비교하였다. DC-DC 컨버터의 등가회로를 이용해 능동소자의 스위칭 잡음을 구현하였으며, 방사 전계 시뮬레이션을 위해 회로 시뮬레이터와 전자기장 시뮬레이터를 연동시켜 해석을 수행하였다. 또한, 측정 결과와 시뮬레이션 결과를 비교하였다. This paper investigates the radiated emission from the enclosure aperture, when the enclosure contains a 4-layer PCB and the PCB is driven by a pulse train additive with the switching noise from an active device. Radiated emission characteristics with and without switch noise cases, respectively, are analyzed by changing the PCB location and the slot direction. The equivalent circuit of a DC-DC converter is used to simulate the switching noise of active device. Also, MWS simulation results are directly connected to the ADS simulator as a 2-port block. The simulated results are compared with the measured ones.

This study reports the effects of NiO nanoparticle (NP) size on the sensing performance of NiO NP-decorated SnO2 nanorods (NRs). NiO NP-decorated SnO2 NRs were synthesized using a two-step process: 1) thermal evaporation of tin powders in an oxidizing atmosphere based on the vapor-liquid-solid growth mechanism and 2) solvothermal decoration of SnO2 NRs with NiO NPs. X-ray diffraction and transmission electron microscopy analyses revealed that both the SnO2 NRs and the NiO NPs were polycrystalline. Scanning electron microscopy images showed that the diameters of the NRs ranged from 100 to 200 nm and that those of the small and the large NiO NPs ranged from 20 to 30 nm and from 80 to 180 nm, respectively. The small NiO NP-decorated SnO2 NRs showed stronger response to NO2 than did the large NiO NP-decorated SnO2 NRs over the concentration range of 0.5 - 100 ppm. Decoration of SnO2 NRs with small NiO NPs resulted in enhanced sensing performance whereas decoration of SnO2 NRs with large NiO NPs deteriorated the sensing performance. The superior NO2 gas sensing performance of the small NiO NP-decorated SnO2 NR sensor as compared to that of the large NiO NP-decorated SnO2 NR sensor was attributed to a higher ratio of n-SnO2 to p-NiO and a higher number of p-n heterojunctions for the same volume of NiO in the former than in the latter. In addition, the small NiO NP-decorated SnO2 NR sensors showed selectivity toward NO2 against other competing gases such as SO2, CO2, CO, H2, C7H8 and C6H6.
염화동 폐액으로부터 양이온격막 전해 채취된 구리 분말을 이용한 황산동의 제조방법 연구

일반적으로, 황산동을 제조하기 위한 원료는 $H_2SO_4$ 및 Cu 금속이 사용된다. 본 연구는 폐산, 폐염화동 폐기물부터 전해 채취법을 이용하여 황산동을 제조하는 방법에 관한 것이다. 황산구리의 용도는 공업용, 도금용, 사료용, 농업용, 전자급 PCB 동도금에 사용된다. 종래의 황산동 제조법은 다량의 폐수 및 에너지 비용이 높은 문제점이 있다. 구리(Cu) 화합물 중에서 가장 사용이 많이 되는 황산동($CuSO_4$)의 제조 방법에 관한 연구로서, 공정 운전비가 적고, 폐수 발생이 적으며, 제조 공정이 간단하다. 양이온 맴브레인을 이용하여 Na, Ca, Mg, Al을 불순물로서 제거하기 쉽다. 또한 동시에 전해 채취 방법으로 고 순도 구리 분말을 회수 할 수 있었다. 회수 된 구리 분말을 사용하여 고 순도 황산동을 제조 할 수 있었다.
Al2Ca를 함유한 A356 합금에서의 다양한 열처리 조건에 따른 공정 Si 개량화 거동

This study is focused on the effect of Al2Ca as a modifier on eutectic Si modification of A356 alloy. Microstructural observation was carried out for as-cast, as-solution treated and as-aged samples. Solution treatment and aging were performed for 2, 4, 6 and 10 hrs at 540oC and 170oC, respectively. Although A356 alloy, which Al2Ca was added, has no significant difference in as-cast phases with normal A356 alloys, it shows much more modified eutectic Si, grain refinement and improved tensile property both in as-cast and as-heat treated conditions. TGA result shows that Al2Ca added A356 alloy has a certain improvement in oxidation resistance.
