      • 압박띠와 Lidocaine 전처치 및 Pentothal 전처치를 이용한 Propfol 정주통의 예방효과

        Background: Pain on injection of propofol is a common problem, the cause of which remains unknown, We evaluated the effect of a tourniquet with intravenous lidocaine and pentothal pretreatments, to decrease the incidence and intensity of pain during intravenous propofol injection. Methods: One hundred fifty five patients scheduled for general anesthesia were randomly divided into three groups. Each patient received one of the pretreatment drugs via 18 G angiocatheter inserted in the antecubital fossa. Control group (CG) (n=31) recived 2 ml normal saline and lidocaine group (LG) (n=31) received 40 mg (2%, 2 ml) and pentothal group (PG) (n=31) received 50 mg (2.5%, 2 ml) and lidocaine tourniquet group (LTG) (n=31) received 40 m g(2%, 2ml) under tourniquest 1 minute inflated and pentothal tourniquet group(PTG) (n=31) received 50 mg (2.5%, 2 ml) under tourniquet 1 minute inflated followed intravenous injection of 2 mg/kg of propofol at a rate of 1 ml/sec. after 50 mg of proplfol were injected, patients were assessed for pain score. The severity of pain was classified as 0, 1, 2, 3 (none, mild, moderate, severe) by one observer. Results: The severity and incidence of pain were significantly reduced in lidocaine group and pentothal group compared with control group for intravenous injection of propofol (P<0.05). But effect of tourniquet is minimal. And the quantity and quality of analgesic effect of lidocaine and petothal on propofol iv injection is similar. Conclusions: Lidocaine 40 mg or pentothal 50 mg pretreatment to induction by propofol revealed a good analgesic effect for propofol injection pain. But effect of tourniquest is minimal.

      • 韓方看護師의 役割에 대한 硏究

        The goal of this study is to review and define the role of nurses who are engaged in Korea Oriental treatments in oriental medical hospitals. We think this study can contribute to the development of "Korea Oriental medical science & nursing science" and "Public health care". A large portion of nurses's role in Korea Medicine(KOM. 한방/한의학) is assistance to doctors treatment. But besides of these role, we think there are many things that are riskless for nurses to do alone. But in present situation, few nurses in KOM, have enough knowledge to treat these medical treatments alone. So we believe this study will provide a way for nurses to participate more actively in KOM public health care. So we believe this study will provide a way for nurses that have been practiced in oriental medical health care. With the goal of this study, we checked all medical treatments that have been practiced in oriental medical hospitals, and classified these treatments with some groups. And we organized a inquiry. At this inquiry, we ask "What is th adequate role of nurses in Korea Oriental medical treatment? & What kind of treatment can nurses do?" We got 58 responses from nationwide 121 hospitals. From these response, more than half of them said nurses can do following medical treatment in the oriental medical hospital: 1. starting and ending part of following treatments; External treatments by instrument, by hydrotherapy, by herb, by suction, moxibustion, Manipulative therapies on soft structure, Living and mind-body therapies. 2. pulling out Acupuncture. 3. boiling herb, judgement on dosing temperature, assisting in dosing, 4. assisting Diet. 5. operating from Living and mind-body therapies. 6. leading Physical training However, these results are coming out from present situation. So, after well-oriented instructions for nurses, this study will be need to carry out again. From this study, we suggest a desirable curriculum for students who study "Korea Oriental Nursing Science". That is to say, at basic course students take 4 subject for 6 credit. And at as an expert course, it should be dividend into Clinical Nursing Specialist in KOM,. Self-care Nursing Specialist and take 17credits per each course.

        문제발견 및 가설설정 능력 신장 과학영재교육프로그램 개발 : 멘델의 과학적 사고과정 적용

        본 연구는 역사적 발견을 이루어낸 과학자 가운데 멘델(Mendel, Gregor Johann, 1822-1884)의 과학적 사고과정을 활용하여 과학영재교육프로그램을 개발하고, 이 프로그램을 학습한 학생들의 문제발견 및 가설설정 능력의 변화를 측정하여, 프로그램의 효과성을 검증하는데 목적을 두었다. 이를 위해 먼저, 멘델이 유전법칙을 확립하는 과정에서 나타낸 과학적 사고과정을 분석하여 특징적 탐구요소를 추출하였다. 추출된 탐구요소 가운데 문제발견과 가설설정을 적용한 프로그램으로서 완두를 활용한 모의실험탐구중심의 과학영재교육프로그램을 개발하였다. 개발한 과학영재교육프로그램은 대학교 부설 과학영재교육원 소속 중학교 1, 2학년 학생 19명(남학생 11명, 여학생 8명)을 대상으로 적용되었다. 적용한 결과, 학생들은 문제발견 능력의 하위요소 융통성, 정교성, 독창성이 신장되었고, 가설설정 능력의 논리성도 신장되었다. 이에 개발된 과학영재교육프로그램은 중학교 과학영재로 선발된 학생들의 문제발견 및 가설 설정 능력을 향상시키는데 효과가 있는 것으로 고찰되었다. In the process of establishing the principle of genetics, Mendel discovered problems based on various observations. Mendel’s scientific thinking ability can be effective if this ability is embedded in gifted science education programs. The study aims to develop a science gifted education program utilizing Mendel’s scientific thinking ability shown in the principles of genetics and examine students’ changes in scientific thinking ability before and after the program implementation. For the program development, first, the characteristics of Mendel’s scientific thinking ability in the process of establishing the principle of genetics were investigated and extracted the major elements of inquiry. Second, the science gifted education programs was developed by applying the inquiry elements from the Mendel's Law. The program was implemented with 19 students of 7th, 8th graders who attend the science gifted education center affiliated with university during July 2011. The Mendel's scientific thinking ability was classified into induction, deduction, and integration. The elements of inquiry extracted from the Mendel’s scientific thinking include making observation, puzzling observation, proposing causal questions, generating hypothesis, drawing inference, designing experiment, gathering and analyzing data, drawing conclusions, and making generalization. With applying these elements, the program was developed with four phases: 1st - problem finding; 2nd - hypothesis generating; 3rd - hypothesis testing and 4th - problem solving. After implementation, students’ changes in scientific thinking ability were measured. The findings from the study are as follows: First, students’ abilities of problem finding is significantly (p<.05) increased. Second, students’ abilities of hypothesis generating is significantly (p<.05) increased.

      • Lidocaine과 Pentotal 전투여가 Propofol 정주 시 발생되는 혈관통에 미치는 영향

        Background: Propofol is a good induction agent. But it has a disadvantage of pain on intravenous injection. Pretreatment of lidocaine or pentothal have been reported to reduce pain on injection. Thus we have evaluated the quantity and quality of analgesic effect of lidocaine and pentothal. Methods: Ninety three patients scheduled for general anesthesia were randomly divided into three groups. Each patient received one of the pretreatment drugs via 18 G angiocatheter inserted in the antecubital fossa. Control group (n=31) received 2 ml normal saline and lidocaine group (n=31) received 40 mg (2%, 2ml) and petothal group (n=31) received 50 mg (2.5%, 2 ml) followed intravenous injection of 2 mg/kg of propofol at a rate of 1 ml/sec.After 50 mg of propofol were injected, patients were assessed for pain score. The severity of pain was classified as 0,1, 2, 3 (none, mild, moderate, severe) by one observer. Results: The severity and incidence of pain were significantly reduced in lidocaine group and pentothal group compared with control group for intravenous injection of propofol (P<0.05). And the incidence of pain in lidocaine group and pentothal group is similar but severity of pain is more reduced in lidocaine group Conclusions: Lidocaine 40 mg or pentohal 50 mg pretreatment to induction by propofol revealed a good analgesic effect for propofol injection pain. And lidocaine is more effective for iv propofol injection pain.

      • 2.5% Pentothal sodium 전처치가 Propofol 정주시 발생되는 통증에 미치는 효과

        Background: propofol has a high incidence of pain with intravenous injection, and many different methods have been used to minimize the incidence and severity of this pain. In this study, we have compared the effect of saline pretreatment with that of 2.5% pentothal 50 mg pretreatment of propofol injection pain. Methods: Sixty two patients scheduled for general anesthesia were randomly divided into two groups. each patient received one of the pretreatment drugs via 18 g angiocatheter inserted in the antecubital fossa. Control group (n=31)received 2 ml of 0.9% saline pretreatment, 2.5% pentothal group (n=31) received 50 mg of pentothal pretreatment followed intravenous injection of 2 mg/kg of propofol at a rate of 1 ml/sec. After 50 mg of propofol were injected, patients were assessed for pain score. The severity of pain was classified as 0, 1, 2, 3 (none, mild, moderate, severe) by one observer. Results: The severity of pain were significantly reduced in 2.5% pentothal group compared with ontrol group for intravenous injection fo propofol (p<0.05) but incidence is similar. Conclusions: 2.5% pentothal 2 ml (50 mg) pretreatment could significantly reduce the sever the severity of pain for intravenous injection of propofol.

        Study on the ignition of methane fuel system highly diluted with argon was carried out in the temperature range of 1515∼1905K behind a reflected shock wave to investigate the rate coefficients for the reaction CH3+O2=CH3O+O. Ignition delay times were measured by monitoring the light absorption by methyl radical at ca. 214nm and pressure profiles. Computer modeling study of methane oxidation was also performed using a GRI_MECH, version 2.11 mechanism for sensitivity analysis and calculation of ignition delay times. The correlation of τp with the maximum heat release rate (dq/dt)max in the reaction zone was also investigated.

      • 미혼모의 특성

        This study was conducted to search for characteristics of unwed mother. The subjects were residing 160 unwed mothers in welfare facilities located in Seoul, Gyeonggi, Jeonnam and Daegu. The data were collected from August 2002 to February 2003. The major findings were as follows. ·The subjects were under 20 years(50.6%), under high school graduate(52.2%), having both parents(60%). ·Among the subjects, 74.4% were to choose the adoption, 83.3% were the time of first sexual relation under 15years, 55% were not of former pregnancy experience, 50% had experience of abortion in former pregnancy. ·First sexual relation was acted natually(50%) but after sexual relation, 49.4% was feeling of repent ·Attitude of sexual relation was represented outstandingly that sexual relation may be a consider expression of love. ·Among the subjects, the reason of noncompliance of contraception were because of unknown to method of contraceptions(21.9%). We need to develop educational programe to improve compliance and knowledge of contraception of unwed mother.
