      • 靈芝버섯을 比率別로 添加시킨 高脂肪食餌가 흰쥐의 體成分 含量에 미치는 影響

        This study was designed to investigate the effects of the Ganoderma Lucidum (G.L.) on high lipid diet in rats. Male Spraque-Dawley rats were divided into 4 groups and fed diets containing 0.0%, 0.1%, and 2.0% G.L. powder for 2 and 4 weeks. The results were as follows: 1) The body weight gain in the G.L. groups was significantly greater than that in the control group at 2 weeks. 2) PER and FER in the G.L. groups were significantly higher than those in the control group at 2 weeks. 3) Levels of total serum cholesterol in 0.1% and 2.0% G.L. groups were significantly lower than those in the control group at 2 weeks. Levels of HDL-cholesterol and HDL-cholesterol/Total cholesterol ratio were no difference at significance level of each group. 4) Serum triglyceride levels at 4 weeks were significantly lower than those at 2 weeks in 0.1% and 0.5% G.L. groups. 5) Serum phospholipid levels and total cholesterol/phospholipid ratio were no difference at significance level of each group. 6) For these results, the growth of rat and the reduction of serum cholesterol are affected by Korean Ganoderma Lucidum.

      • Fluoroquinolone계 항생제의 경구투여에 따른 양식넙치 및 조피볼락의 체내 잔류량의 변화

        The residue depletions of fluoroquinolones were investigated in the olive flounder (Paralichthys olivaceus) and black rockfish (Sebastes schlegeli) after 840 hours treatment with medicated feed at a dose 20 mg/kg·bw/day The bloods of samples were taken at 5, 10, 24, 48, 72, 120, 168, 216, 312, 480, 720, 840 and 960 hour after treatment. Fluoroquinolones concentrations were detected by high performance liquid chromatography equipped with UV detector. The recovery rates of fluoroquinolones in fish samples ranged 91.95~99.69%, 93.43~97.54% and 92.99~97.87% for the concentration of 0.1, 0.5, 1.0 ㎍/g, respectively In the blood of olive flounder, the concentrations of ciprofloxacin, enrofloxacin, norfloxacin and sarafloxacin detected at 10, 10, 24 and 24 hour after treatment were 6.433 ㎍/g, 6.065 ㎍/g, 11.8334 ㎍/g and 10.3168 ㎍/g as maximum level, respectively In the black rockfish, ciprofloxacin, enrofloxacin, norfloxacin and sarafloxacin at 24, 24, 24 and 10 hour after treatment were 8.2634㎍/g, 8.0276㎍/g, 7.2888㎍/g and 9.3787㎍/g as maximum level, respectively On the other hand, ciprofloxacin enrofloxacin, norfloxacin and sarafloxacin were not detected at 840, 480, 720 and 720 hours after treatment in the olive flounder, and at 720, 480, 720 and 480 hours after treatment in the black rockfish, respectiveley.

        Propylene Oxide로 하이드록시프로필화시킨 감자전분의 이화학적 특성

        Physicochemical properties of potato starches with degree of substitution of 0~0.2645 hydroxypropylation with propylene oxide were examined. Hydroxypropyl group content of the starch was proportional to propylene oxide concentration. Water binding capacity increased but pH decreased with the increase of degree of substitution. Blue value and iodine absorption property decreased with the increase of hydroxypropylation. Differential scanning calorimeter showed that hydroxypropylation lowered the gelatinization temperature of the starch. Relative crystallinity in X-ray diffraction patterns decreased and starch granule observed by scanning electron microscopy was destroyed by hydroxypropylation. This result implied that high level hydroxypropylation affected the crystal region as well as amorphous region of starch.

      • 감귤과피 물 균질액으로 가공한 유색미의 취반 특성

        Cooking characteristics of coated rice with water homogenate of citrus fruit peels (1% for rice) were investigated. The color of the coated rice both before and after cooking was dark yellow. The total content of carotenoids, hesperidin and naringin were 10.74, 2173.12 and 1468.40 ㎎% for citrus fruit peels, 0.46, 108.65 and 73.38 ㎎% for its water homogenate, 0.12, 21.73 and 14.62 ㎎% for coated rice, and 0.05, 8.67 and 5.87 ㎎% for cooked coated rice, respectively. Citrus fruits peel contained 94.22 ㎎% of asparagine, 24.88 ㎎% of methionine, 19.64 ㎎% of alaniue, and 15.37 ㎎% of r-aminoisobutyric acid as the majority free amino acids, accounting for 70% of the total free amino acids present. Total free amino acid content of the cooked coated rice increased by 15% compared to those of cooked uncoated rice. The majority of minerals in the citrus fruit peels were K and Ca, accounting for 86% of total minerals present. The mineral content of cooked coated rice was generally higher than that of the cooked uncoated rice. The cooked coated rice showed comparable hardness, gumminess and brittleness, but higher cohesiveness and springiness than the cooked uncoated rice. There were no differences in sweet and bitter taste between the cooked uncoated and coated rice. However, the cooked coated rice showed higher sensory scores for color acceptability, savory taste and overall acceptability than the cooked uncoated rice.

        Sodium metabisulfite와 adipic acid가 마늘 농축액의 저장 중 갈변현상에 미치는 영향

        The effect of sodium metabisulfite and adipic acid on the color changes of garlic juice was evaluated. The garlic(Uisung variety) juice was extracted and 1% sodium metabisulfite and 1% adipic acid were added to the garlic juice before or after concentration. Garlic juice was concentrated by heating at 90℃, by heating using a rotary vacuum evaporator at 45℃, or by freeze-drying at -50℃ until the volume was reduced to 70% of the original volume. The garlic juice concentrate was kept at 4℃ and 25℃ for 60 days and evaluated for the color change and the relation between the additives and browning. Browning of the garlic juice concentrate containing adipic acid and sodium metabisulfite was effectively inhibited compared with the control. Inhibition effect of sodium metabisulfite on the browning of the concentrate was stronger than that of adipic acid. The addition of sodium metabisulfite after concentration of garlic juice was the most effective on browning inhibition in the 90℃-heated concentrate, but the addition of sodium metabisulfite before concentration was the most effective in the 45℃-heated concentrate and the -50℃-freeze-dried concentrate. In the color change of the garlic juice concentrate during the storage, a and b values of the concentrate with sodium metabisulfite were lower than those of the control, which means that sodium metabisulfite inhibited the browning of the garlic juice concentrate.

      • CA 125치가 증가된 난소종괴 환자에서 악성 감별을 위한 CA 15-3과 TAG 72의 효용성

        The purpose of our study was to evaluate whether the combined use of serum tumor markers, CA 15-3 and TAG 72 could improve the efficacy for discriminating malignant from benign ovarian masses in patients with elevated serum CA 125 levels. Serum CA 15-3 and TAG 72 were preoperatively measured by immunoradiometric assay in 78 patients with pelvic masses who had elevated serum CA 125 levels above 35 U/ml. In 32 patients with epithelial ovarian cancers, serum CA 125 levels were elevated above 65 U/ml in 97% and serum CA 15-3(>30U/ml) and TAG 72(>10 u/ml) levels were elevated in 59% and 50%, respectively, suggesting relatively low sensitivity of CA 15-3 and TAG 72. However, in 41 patients with benign ovarian tumors, elevations of these two markers were detected only in 7% and 5%, respectively, and particularly, both markers were not elevated among all the aptients over 50 years of age. Coordinate elevations of CA 125(>35U/ml) and CA 15-3(>30U/ml) or TAG 72(>10 U/ml) could discriminate epithelial ovarian cancers from benign masses with a sensitivity of 72% and specificity of 90%. Among patients over 50 years of age, sensitivity and specificity were increased to 79% and 100%, respectively. It is concluded that the combined use of CA 15-3 and TAG 72 with CA 125 could obtain an improved efficacy for discrimination of epithelial ovarian cancer, especially among patients over 50 years of age.

        The pursuit of moulding for expressing the freedom in human spirit is concreted in the Fiber art expecially compared to any other art fields, and, by containing the plentiful emotion and affinity of material itself, the Fiber art is regarded as a means of communication of images among artists and has been altered or changed through many combinations and various skills. The charter of hereafter as a principal subject in human life, related with funeral rites, is adopted as a new field of Fiber art by considering fiber establishment art as a visual language to express the propound philosophy of Korean traditional funeral custom. The fiber has been used in whole steps of funeral formality, and the soul created by the alive person and the dead person in funeral rites is researched as a abstract basis of originality formed with traditional spirit. Therefore, by matching the human spirit and the original moulding characteristic of Korean funeral rites with realistic expression of modern culture, it is expected that the expression of modern Fiber art is expanded and new moulding art field is established in Fiber art through pursuing truly the extension of pure Fiber art.
