본 논문은 춘추학의 주요 관점 중 하나인 華夷論의 시각에서 許篈 『朝天記』를 조망하였다. 이러한 관점에 근거하여, 저자 許篈이 조선과 明을 모두 ‘東周 禮文明’ 의 일원으로 파악하고 양국을 본질적으로는 동등한 자격을 지닌 행위주체로 인식하였음을 살필 수 있었다. 華夷論의 구체적 방법론인 ‘尊華와 攘夷’를 『朝天記』에 적용하여 분석한 결과, 조선과 명나라 사이 무역을 전면 금지해야 한다는 주장과 天壇을 방문하고는 태자가 보위에 올랐어도 의례를 행하지 않은 데 대해 비판을 진행하는데 이러한 논조는 尊華에 해당된다. 아울러 양명학에 대한 배척과 성정이 포악한 遼東의 掌印大人인 陳言에 대한 비판 등은 攘夷 맥락에서의 접근이라고 할 수 있다. 결론적으로, 許篈 『朝天記』의 華夷論은 문화적으로는 禮文化體系에서 출발하여 朝鮮과 明을 동등선상에 놓고 비교하는 동시에 현실적으로는 군사력을 망라한 자국종합국력 증진에 힘쓰는 모습을 보여주었다고 할 수 있다. In this thesis, I study Huh Bong’s 『Jo Chun Gi』 from the perspective of Hwa’ih-ron, the theory of civilization and barbarism (華夷論), which is a main idea of ‘Spring and Autumn Annals’ (春秋學). Huh regarded both Choson and Ming as the member of "東周禮文明" holding equal status in essentials. Although Huh did not mention it directly, we could see that he applied the ‘Respecting Hwa’ (尊華) and ‘Resisting Ih’ (攘夷), which were the specific methodology of Hwa’ih-ron, in his work. Huh agitated for a complete ban on trade between Choson and Ming. After visited Temple of Heaven (天壇), he criticized prince for not performing rituals after taking the throne. These opinions correspond to the ‘Respecting Hwa’. In addition, his criticism of Yang Myeonghak and vicious Chen Xin, the minister of Liaodong, correspond to the ‘Resisting Ih’. In conclusion, Heh Bong’s Hwa’ih-ron shown from 『Jo Chun Gi』 saw Choson and ming as equal country from the perspective of culture, meanwhile, he tried to improve Choson’s national power (including military power).

전종서의 문학이론을 보면 비유에 관한 이론이 많다. 또한 그는 이러한 비유이론을 의도적으로 사용해서 문학 작품을 창조해왔다. 필자는 전종서의 비유에 관한 이론을 7가지로 정리해보았다. 1. '본체'와 '비유체' 사이에 유사점이 있으면 두 사물은 전체적으로 대응관계가 형성될 수 있다. 2. 비유의 최고의 효과를 얻기 위해서는 두 가지의 방법을 사용할 수 있는데, 그 첫 번째는 서로 상관이 없는 것에서 유사성을 밝히는 것이고, 두 번째는 아주 평범한 것에서 평범하지 않은 것을 찾아내는 것이다. 3. '본체'와 '비유체' 사이에 유사점은 연상에 의해 밝힐 수 있다. 4. '비유체'는 다양한 측면과 다양한 특징이 있다. 창작자는 자기의 주관적인 필요에 의해 '비유체'의 어떤 측면을 선택한다. 5. 창작자가 비유라는 수사방법을 통해 주관적인 감정을 표현할 수 있다. 6. 한 가지의 '본체'에 대해 많은 비유를 하는 것은 작가의 다양한 감각을 충분히 표현할 수 있도록 하기 위한 것이다. 7. 좋은 비유는 항상 표면적으로 보기에는 무관한 사물일지 모르지만 심리적인 측면에서 보면 유사성을 찾아낼 수 있다.

Reactions of a crude enzyme extracted from S. pasteuri TS-82 to cleave carbon-carbon bonds in bicyclic and monocyclic carotenoid substrates were investigated. Dependencies of enzyme activities on processing temperature and pH were investigated and non-volatile and volatile breakdown products were characterized. The crude enzyme showed a maximum activity with zeaxanthin, followed in decreasing order by β-carotene, canthaxanthin, astaxanthin, and β-apo-8'- carotenal. The optimum pH value of the enzyme was 3.0 for both bicyclic and monocyclic substrates, whereas the optimum temperature of the enzyme was substrate specific at 60oC for C40 carotenoids and 50oC for β-apo-8'-carotenal. Liquid Chromatography-Mass Spectra (LC-MS) and Gas Chromatography- Mass Spectra (GC-MS) indicated that the crude enzyme was able to catalyze substrates with cleavage at 9-10 and 9'-10' double bonds with C13 norisoprenoids being the main volatile reaction products in each case. Astaxanthin is a major source for α,β-dihydro-β-ionone.

Previous papers analyzed the throughput performance of the CDMA ALOHA system in Rayleigh fading channel, but they assume that the channel coefficient of Rayleigh fading was the same in the whole packet, which is not realistic. We recently proposed the finite-state Markov channel (FSMC) model to the throughput analysis of DS uncoded CDMA/unslotted ALOHA networks for fixed length data traffic in the mobile environment. We now propose the FSMC model to the throughput analysis of coded DS CDMA/unslotted ALOHA networks with variable length data traffic and one or two user classes in the mobile environment. The proposed DS CDMA/unslotted ALOHA wireless networks for two user classes with access control can maintain maximum throughput for the high priority user class under high message arrival per packet duration.

Preparation of activated carbon from Thalia dealbata was carried out. The T. dealbata-derived activated carbon (TDAC) was characterized by BET, SEM and FTIR. The potential of TDAC to remove reactive brilliant blue from aqueous solutions was investigated under varying conditions of pH, adsorbent dosage, contact time, initial dye concentration, and temperature. Adsorption equilibrium, and kinetics were further studied. Adsorption was favored under acid conditions, and the process attained equilibrium in 30 min. The pseudo-second-order model could best describe the adsorption kinetics. The equilibrium data fitted well with the Langmuir and Freundlich models, and the maximum capacity was 555 mg g-1.

<P>A simple surfactant-assisted reflux method was used in this study for the synthesis of cocklebur-shaped Fe<SUB>2</SUB>O<SUB>3</SUB> nanoparticles (NPs). With this strategy, a series of nanostructured Fe<SUB>2</SUB>O<SUB>3</SUB> NPs with a size distribution ranging from 20 to 120 nm and a tunable surface area were readily controlled by varying reflux temperature and the type of surfactant. Surfactants such as cetyltrimethylammonium bromide (CTAB), polyvinylpyrrolidone (PVP), poly(ethylene glycol)-<I>block</I>-poly(propylene glycol)-<I>block</I>-poly(ethylene glycol) (F127) and sodium dodecyl benzenesulfonate (SDBS) were used to achieve large-scale synthesis of uniform Fe<SUB>2</SUB>O<SUB>3</SUB> NPs with a relatively low cost. A new composite of Fe<SUB>3</SUB>O<SUB>4</SUB>@CF<SUB><I>x</I></SUB> was prepared by coating the primary Fe<SUB>2</SUB>O<SUB>3</SUB> NPs with a layer of F-doped carbon (CF<SUB><I>x</I></SUB>) with a one-step carbonization process. The Fe<SUB>3</SUB>O<SUB>4</SUB>@CF<SUB><I>x</I></SUB> composite was utilized as the anode in a lithium ion battery and exhibited a high reversible capacity of 900 mAh g<SUP>–1</SUP> at a current density of 100 mA g<SUP>–1</SUP> over 100 cycles with 95% capacity retention. In addition, a new Fe<SUB>3</SUB>O<SUB>4</SUB>@CF<SUB><I>x</I></SUB>/LiNi<SUB>0.5</SUB>Mn<SUB>1.5</SUB>O<SUB>4</SUB> battery with a high energy density of 371 Wh kg<SUP>–1</SUP> (vs cathode) was successfully assembled, and more than 300 cycles were easily completed with 66.8% capacity retention at 100 mA g<SUP>–1</SUP>. Even cycled at the high temperature of 45 °C, this full cell also exhibited a relatively high capacity of 91.6 mAh g<SUP>–1</SUP> (vs cathode) at 100 mA g<SUP>–1</SUP> and retained 54.6% of its reversible capacity over 50 cycles. Rule-based systems are most important knowledge representation techniques and have been widely used to build large expert system, but their adaptation to real-time environments has proven to be a formidable task. Based on discussing of the theories of real-time and real-time expert systems, and analyzing the major deficiencies in rule-based systems make them unsuitable for real-time application, this paper reviews recent and current research works in the area of realtime rule-based expert systems and presents the important issues of rule-based expert systems for real-time applications.
