Aeromonas hydrophila is a bacterial pathogen that infects a large number of eukaryotes, including humans. The UDP-galactose 4`-epimerase (GalE) catalyzes interconversion of UDP-galactose to UDP-glucose and plays a key role in lipopolysaccharide biosynthesis. This makes it an important virulence determinant, and therefore a potential drug target. Our earlier studies revealed that unlike other GalEs, GalE of A. hydrophila exists as a monomer. This uniqueness necessitated elucidation of its structure and active site. Chemical modification of the 6xHis-rGalE demonstrated the role of histidine residue in catalysis and that it did not constitute the substrate binding pocket. Loss of the 6xHis-rGalE activity and coenzyme fluorescence with thiol modifying reagents established the role of two distinct vicinal thiols in catalysis. Chemical modification studies revealed arginine to be essential for catalysis. Site-directed mutagenesis indicated Tyr149 and Lys153 to be involved in catalysis. Use of glycerol as a cosolvent enhanced the GalE thermostability significantly. [BMB reports 2010; 43(6): 419-426]

In this paper, we have designed an energy efficient wrist watch on 28nm FPGA. The code has been implemented in Xilinx ISE Design Suite 14.2. The device used is XC7K160T, package used is FBG676 and it is working on -3 speed grade. The wrist band will take the blood pressure as input and will tell about the state of the person wearing it. The design supports Internet of things service that’s why IP addresses are involved. This wrist band design is very helpful in biomedical areas. Research is in progress in this field. In this paper frequency is varied to obtain power consumption of Wrist Watch. Airflow has been kept 250 LFM and medium Heat sink. IO Standards has been varied in order to achieve an energy efficient device. Main emphasis has been done on MOBILE_DDR, LVTTL, HSUL_12, HSTL_I, LVCMOS33 and SSTL15 IO Standards. To design an energy efficient device we are using capacitance scaling and the capacitance is scaled down from 100pF to 20pF. During capacitance scaling, we observe that there is no change in clock power, logic power and signal power. Thermal Aware design is current research area. Analysis has been at two temperatures that is at 25 degree Celsius and at 50 degree Celsius. At the end we can conclude that the maximum power is consumed at 2.2GHz and minimum power is consumed at 1.2GHz. In respect of capacitance maximum power is consumed at 100pF and minimum power is consumed at 20pF at both temperatures at 25 degree Celsius and 50 degree Celsius.
A Neumann type problem on an unbounded domain in the Heisenberg group
Shivani Dubey,Mukund Madhav Mishra,Ashutosh Pandey 대한수학회 2022 대한수학회지 Vol.59 No.3
We discuss the wellposedness of the Neumann problem on a half-space for the Kohn-Laplacian in the Heisenberg group. We then construct the Neumann function and explicitly represent the solution of the associated inhomogeneous problem.

Advancements in bio-ceramic technology has revolutionised endodontic material science by enhancing the treatment outcome for patients. This class of dental materials conciliates excellent biocompatibility with high osseoconductivity that render them ideal for endodontic care. Few recently introduced bio-ceramic materials have shown considerable clinical success over their early generations in terms of good handling characteristics. Calcium enriched mixture (CEM) cement, Endosequence sealer, and root repair materials, Biodentine and BioAggregate are the new classes of bio-ceramic materials. The aim of this literature review is to present investigations regarding properties and applications of CEM cement in endodontics. A review of the existing literature was performed by using electronic and hand searching methods for CEM cement from January 2006 to December 2013. CEM cement has a different chemical composition from that of mineral trioxide aggregate (MTA) but has similar clinical applications. It combines the biocompatibility of MTA with more efficient characteristics, such as significantly shorter setting time, good handling characteristics, no staining of tooth and effective seal against bacterial leakage.
Ruptured Splenic Abscess with Pneumoperitoneum: A Rare Presentation
Shivani Goyal,Gurleen Kaur,Tanya Singh,Robin Kaushik,Simrandeep Singh 대한외상중환자외과학회 2023 Journal of Acute Care Surgery Vol.13 No.3
Splenic abscess is a rare entity encountered during clinical practice, with a high mortality rate. Formation of gas in splenic abscess is usually localized to the left upper quadrant of the abdomen. Here we report a case where the splenic abscess ruptured and presented with generalized peritonitis. The erect chest radiograph showed free air under the right dome of the diaphragm, thus masquerading a hollow viscera perforation (most common cause of pneumoperitoneum).
Sustainable 3D printing with recycled materials: a review
Shivani Lodha,Bo Song,박상인,Hae-Jin Choi,Sang Won Lee,Hyung Wook Park,최승겸 대한기계학회 2023 JOURNAL OF MECHANICAL SCIENCE AND TECHNOLOGY Vol.37 No.11
Combining recycling and additive manufacturing (AM) can bring significant environmental and economic advantages. Using recycled materials can help reduce waste and the need for virgin materials, which can be resource-intensive to extract and process. Recycling is also more energy-efficient than extracting and processing virgin materials. This paper reviews and discusses the current trends and limitations of using recycled materials for AM, an essential step toward a more sustainable manufacturing process. Specifically, this paper reviews the research on waste materials transformed into resins for stereolithography (SLA), digital light projection (DLP) printers, filaments for fused deposition modeling (FDM), as well as metal powders for selective laser melting (SLM) and selective laser sintering (SLS) printing processes. The goal is to provide an overview of the recycled materials used in AM, their recycling methods, and the mechanical and thermal properties of the resulting materials and manufactured parts. The paper also discusses potential improvements in the process and areas for future research.
COMMON FIXED POINT RESULTS VIA F-CONTRACTION ON C* -ALGEBRA VALUED METRIC SPACES
Shivani Kukreti,Gopi Prasad,Ramesh Chandra Dimri The Kangwon-Kyungki Mathematical Society 2023 한국수학논문집 Vol.31 No.4
In this work, we establish common fixed point results by utilizing a variant of F-contraction in the framework of C*-algebra valued metric spaces. We utilize E.A. and C.L.R. property possessed by the mappings to prove common fixed point results in the same metric settings. To validate the applicability of these common fixed point results, we provide illustrative examples too.
