        Background and Objectives: Mutation or inactivation of the p53 is important mechanism in a wide variety of human tumors. The purpose of this study is to investigate the relationship between expression amount of p53 protein and the grade of astrocytic gliomas. Materials and Methods: This study analyzes 40 paraffin-embedded astrocytic glioma, including 10 cases of low grade, 20 cases of high grade, and 10 cases of maligant glioma (glioblastoma multiforme) were used to analyze the status of abnormal accumulation of wild type of p53 protein. The evaluation of the immunostaining result was based on the percentage of positive neoplastic cells. Results: Average positive cell rate of p53 protein were 4.2%, 35.4% and 16.2% in low grade astrocytoma, high grade astrocytoma and glioblastoma multiforme, respectively. Conclusion: p53 gene mutations were correlated with histologic grade of glial tumors. High grade and glioblastoma multiforme showed higher positive cell rate than low grade astrocytoma. These results suggest that the high positive rates of p53 protein is related to the poor prognosis.

      • 피부적용제제로서 우르솔릭 애씨드를 함유한 큐보좀의 제조 및 평가

        Nanosized particle of bicontinuous cubic liquid crystalline phase system nominated "cubosome" allows for simultaneous incorporation of water- and oil-soluble materials as well as amphiphiles. The solubilization of ursolic acid, a highly hydrophobic molecule, into a cubosome system was formulated by liquid precursor dilution method. Ursolic acid (UA) with anti-inflammatory and anti-aging effect obtained from some plants. The cubosomes with and without UA were prepared and evaluated. The cubosomes had mean diameter of from 30 to 300 nm. The size increased according as the glyceryl monooleate(GMO) content increased and ratio of poloxamer 407 to water decreased. The turbidity of cubosome increased with increase of GMO content, but the addition of poloxamer 407 reduced the particle size with bluish appearance. Cubosomes from the GMO-ethanol-poloxamer 407-water system were proved relatively stable dispersion system without any creaming and sedimentation for 80 days at various storage temperatures. Viscosity of cubosomes was increased at high concentration of GMO and a rheological property of cubosomes revealed pseudo-plastic flow and weak thixotropic behavior. The percutaneous absorption rate of UA in cubosome system was 2.7 times higher than in liposome system.

      • 動力耕耘機用 Diesel Engine 性能 比較 試驗硏究

        A Study was performed to suggest the way of economical uses and rational managements for the domestic and Japanese manufactured lops diesel entwines detached from the power tillers by the analysis of output, torque and fuel consumption ratio by the engine revolutions. The results obtained are summarized as follows: 1.The maximum output of the domestic manufactured engines was specified as 13ps/2,400rpm, however the results showed that the output was specified 11.9% smaller in the aspect of engine revolution and the engine revolution was specified 170 more in the aspect of output and also the nomal power of the domestic engines was specified as 10ps/2,200rpm, however the test results showed that the output was specified 13% smaller in the aspect of engine revolution and the engine revolution was specified 11.7% more in the aspect of output. 2.The maximum output of the domestic manufactured engines showed bigger than that of the Japanese manufactured N-I by 2. Bps at 2,600rpm, 3.2ps at 2,400rpm, 3.1ps at 2,200rpm, 2.6ps at 2,000rpm, 2.0ps at 1,800rpm, 1.6ps at 1,600rpm, and also the normal output of the domestic engines showed bigger than that of Japanes N-E by 1.3ps at 2,600rpm, 2.5ps at 2,400rpm, 1.8ps at 2,200rprn, 1.4ps at 2,000rpm, 0,8ps at 1,800 rpm and 0.1ps at 1.600 rpm. 3.In case of the lops engine for power tiller, the displacement volume of the domestic engines was 75cc bigger than that of Japanese engines, and the fuel consumption ratio at normal power showed 30gr/ps.h at 2,600rgm, 17gr/ps·h at 2,400rpm, 15gr/ps·h at 2,200rpm, 13gr/ps.h at 2,000rpm, 9gr/ps·h at 1,800rpm and 7gr/ps·h at 1,600rpm. 4.In the aspect of the economical use of fuel and the operation of engines, it is desirable to specify the fuel consumption rate together with the test result of fuel consumption character for the consumers when they select the economical engine. 5.The performance of the automobile engines is usually specified by the displacement volume so it is recommended to specify the performance of farm engines by their displacement volume.

        Complex dielectric constants of the V?O? .B?O?.Al?O? glass system have been investigated as a function of frequency from 400 to to 10?Hz and temperature 100 to to 400?k. Dielectric constant and dielectric loss decrease with increasing frequency when temperature is constant, and increase with increasing temperature.

      • V₂O5·B₂0₃·Al₂0₃유리계의 N₄ : N₄in the V₂O5·B₂0₃·Al₂0₃Glass System

        B' NMR spectra have been used to study the structure of glasses in the system ??·B₂O₃.Al₂O₃. The fraction N₄of boron atoms in BO₄units is measured and analyzed according to a structural model. In this study, it is found that the N₄values are 0.013±0.03∼0.038±0.005 which are very small in values, indicating that the interaction between the electric quadrupole moment and the electric field gradient in boron sites are strong in this compound.

      • 고등학교 통계수업에서 줄기그림 활용에 관한 연구

        줄기그림은 새로 개발된 탐색적 자료분석의 한 방법이다. 우리들은 본 연구에서 고등학교의 통계수업에서 자료분석과 모아진 통계자료의 요약을 위한 새로운 학습보조자료로서 줄기그림을 활용을 통한 교수학습방법을 제안하고 적용하여 보았다. 줄기그림을 보조학습자료로 사용한 결과 학생들은 관찰된 자료의 구조를 쉽게 파악할 수 있었고, 보다 창조적으로 자료분석에 대한 사고의 폭을 넓힐 수 있었다. 그리고 고등학교 통계단원에서의 자료분석방법을 다루는 보조학습자료로서의 줄기그림의 활용 가능성에 대한 확인을 할 수 있었다. The stem plot is a new method of exploratory data analysis. This method is very simple and easy. In this paper we proposed the usuful method of stem plot in mathematics education at highschool and applicated to highschool students at school mathematics as a method of the statistical data analysis. According to the result of experiment for data analysis learning of observed data with the stem plot as learning aided tools, students could understand easily the structure of the observed data with the stem plot. The students could extend the width of thinking with the creative motivation. And we could confirm the possibility of application about the stem plot in highschool statistics classes.

      • 기업의 자금 조달과 투자 결정, 배당의 상호작용에 관한 실증연구

        본 연구는 기업의 자금 흐름 측면에서 주요 재무의사결정 변수간의 상호 관련성을 고려하여 각 변수간의 실증적인 관계를 파악하였다. 구체적으로 기업의 주요 재무 의사결정 변수인 주식 자금조달 금액, 부채 자금조달 금액, 투자금액, 배당금액을 내생변수로 선정하고 이들에 영향을 주는 외생변수들을 선정한 후에 이들간의 실증적인 관계성이 어떠한지 연립방정식 모형을 설정하였다. 검정가설은 각 내생변수간의 독립적인 관계를 귀무가설로 설정하고 이단계 최소 자승법과 삼단계 최소 자승법을 사용하여 실증분석을 수행하였다. 검증 결과 주요 재무변수간에는 독립적인 관계를 부정할 만한 증거를 얻을 수 없었다. 본 연구는 재무의사결정간의 실증적인 관계성을 파악함에 있어서 기업의 자금흐름 측면에서 상호 관련성을 인정하여 연립방정식을 사용한 점에 그 공헌점이 있다. This study focuses on the empirical relation among the variables considering interrelation of critical financing decision variables in the side of fund flow of firms. This study selects main financing decision variables i,e, financing amount by issuing stock, debt amount, dividend amount as endogenous variables and examines the empirical relation among exogenous variables influencing endogenous variables using the simultaneous equation model. We set the null hypothesis as independent relation among endogenous variables and tests by two stage least square and three stage least square method. The result of this study shows independent relation among critical financing decision variables. The contribution of this study is to use simultaneous equation model to examine empirical relation among critical financing decision variables considering interrelation in the side of fund flow of firms.

      • 회전원판 반응조를 이용한 Pseudomonas sp. KS-96에 의한 gallic acid로부터 pyrogallol의 전환

        In previous paper Pseudomonas sp. KS-96 isolated from the soil to bioconversion into pyrogallol from gallic acid. Continuous bioconversion of pyrogallol was carried out using rotatory disc contactor immobilized Pseudomonas sp. KS-96. Enzyme activity of gallate decarboxylase released from Pseudomonas sp. KS-96 were shown at the highest activity on 24h incubation. Culture media containing gallic acid supplied on the flow rate of 20㎖/h until thickness of cells wall reached steady state. Bioconversion rate of pyrogallol from gallic acid showed at highest level ranging from 18hr to 36h according to time courses. Continuous bioconversion of pyrogallol using rotating disc contactor was about 81% and 80% between 6 and 8 days at the feeding rate of 30㎖ per hour in the medium containing 15g/ℓ gallic acid.
