The Acquisition of Korean Progressive by Adult English Native Speakers

This paper investigates the acquisition of two possible interpretations of Korean progressive by native English speakers, using the production and preference task. The English progressive encodes only the on-going interpretation whereas the Korean progressive, along with the ongoing interpretation, can also encode a resultative one. Since the acquisition of this difference necessitates a restructuring of native form-to-meaning mapping, it is predicted that it presents difficulty for learners. It was found that this difference does indeed present difficulty to the learners and that the learners have acquired the ongoing interpretation before the resultative one. For the latter, no or little effect of proficiency was attested and for the former, learners`` response patterns closely approximated to the native controls.

정규 트리의 부등식을 이용한 형 추론 시스템

형 시스템이 수행하는 일은 일반적으로 실행 시간 동안의 발생할 오류를 예상하여 수정하는 일과 실시간에 예상되는 표현식의 형을 추론하는 일로 나누어 볼 수 있다. 다형성을 갖는 무형 언어에서는 무엇보다도 형 추론의 일이 중요하다. 다형성을 갖는 모든 함수들이 principal 형 스킴을 갖도록 형 추론에 일반성을 부여하는 일과 무형 언어에서의 형 추론의 일이 필수적이기 때문이다. 본 논문에서는 함수 정의로 부터 직접 형을 추론하는 것을 바탕으로 형이 일반성을 갖도록 다형 시스템을 제안한다. 즉 subtyping의 관계를 inclusion 부등식을 이용하여 일반적인 형을 추론할 수 있게 한다. 또한, 일반적인 무형의 식에 이러한 형 시스템을 사용할 수 있도록 레코드와 가변 레코드 형에 대한 형 추론 규칙을 제안한다.

녹두 추출물이 생쥐에 유발된 접촉피부염의 피부 증상과 조직병리학적 소견에 미치는 영향

Objectives : Green gram (mung bean) has a cold nature and has been known to detoxify against various side effects that belong to hot in nature. In particular, since it has the effect of detoxifying fever and detoxification to treat swelling, it was also used externally to treat febrile dermatological diseases such as erysipelas and rubella. This study was designed to determine whether green gram exhibits anti-inflammatory effects on contact dermatitis in mice. Methods : We investigated the effects of green gram extract (70% ethanol extract) on skin lesion, skin thickness and weights, melanin and erythema index and spleen body weight ratio in mice with contact dermatitis induced by repeated application of 1-Fluoro-2,4-dinitrobenzene. Results : Topical application of green gram extract ameliorates skin lesions of contact dermatitis such as scale and roughness induces by 1-Fluoro-2,4-dinitrobenzene. green gram extract also suppressed enlargement of skin thicknesses and weights significantly. In addition, green gram extract treatment also lowered erythema index significantly compared to those in the control group. In the histopathological observation, green gram extract prevented epidermal hyperplasia and hyperkeratosis in inflamed tissues. Finally, green gram extract did not affect changes in body weights and the spleen body weight ratio, unlike dexamethasone, which significantly prevented body weight gain and lowered the spleen body weight ratio. Conclusions : These results imply that green gram, which is known to have a detoxifying effect in Korean medicine, can be used in the treatment of contact dermatitis.

대화를 통한 협력적 읽기에서의 상호작용 분석

이 연구는 대화를 통한 협력적 읽기에서의 학습자간 상호작용 분석을 통해 대화를 통한 협력적 읽기의 교육적 의의를 논의해 보는 것을 목적으로 한다. 이는 기존의 읽기 교육이 교수자 중심, 텍스트 중심이었던 데서 벗어나 학습자 중심으로 패러 다임을 전환하기 위해서는 읽기의 ‘결과’가 아닌 ‘과정’에 개입하는 것이 필요하다는 인식에서 비롯되었다. 이 연구에서는 그러한 방법 모색의 하나로 소모둠별 대화를통한 협력적 읽기 수업을 시행하고 그 과정에서 이루어지는 학습자간 상호작용을 녹음, 분석하여 협력적 읽기의 읽기 교육에서의 효용성을 탐색해 보았다. 협력적 읽기에서 학습자간 상호작용은 동료의 말을 받아 논의를 이어가는 연계진술, 동료의 요구에 부합하는 도움과 안내를 제공하는 연계반응, 동료에게 무언가를요구하는 요청 및 제안 등의 형태로 나타났으며, 이를 통해 텍스트에 대한 이해를 심화․확장, 각자의 의견을 조율, 협의하며 공동의 의미를 구성해가는 모습이 관찰되었다. 협력학습 후 실시한 조사에서 학생들은 대화를 통한 협력이 자신의 읽기 습관을 되돌아보며 능숙한 독자로부터 읽기전략을 배우는 데 도움이 되었다고 긍정적 으로 평가하였다. 이를 통해 대화를 통한 소모둠별 협력적 읽기가 학습자들의 인지적 측면은 물론 정의적 측면에서도 그 효용성이 있음을 확인할 수 있었다. The main purpose of thesis is to discuss the educational significance of collaborative reading through tracking of interactive learning by conversation. This study stems from the recognition that education of reading should be changed teacher, text- centered reading into learner centered paradigm by intervene in the “process” of reading. To meet this goal, collaborative reading of small group talking was performed and also recording and analyzing conversation which was took place in the process of interactive reading. Interaction between learners in collaborative reading was appeared in the aspects of sharing information and knowledge that is necessary to understand the text, and also objections and issues raised, emotional support and positive feedback were done. As the result of collaborative reading, readers were able to build a sense of community spirit through deepen the understanding of the text, extend the meaning of the text and discuss and resolve each others opinions. In a survey conducted after the cooperative learning, students are evaluated positively because of cooperation through dialogue and learning from a skilled reader. Effectiveness of conversation with a small cooperative talking group activity has been confirmed in terms of cognitive as well as affective aspects of leaners.

수사학의 관점에서 본 항해 홍길주의 작문론

This paper examines the writing theory of the Hanghai (沆瀣) Hong Giljoo(洪吉周), a writer of the Joseon era, from a rhetorical viewpoint. Hong Gil-joo, a representative of the late Joseon Dynasty, expresses his view on writing in his writings, revealing the characteristic aspect of Korean rhetoric. In this paper, I divided his theory of writing into two parts: invention and dispositio, based on rhetoric theory. 沆瀣 claimed that in the invention area, where the subject is found, sentences containing ethics and virtue, sentences that impressed readers and evoked empathy, and sentences with their own viewpoints and perspectives are good sentences. In the disposition area, related to sentence and paragraph composition and arrangement, he emphasized that taking a unique composition apart from the formal restraint and evaluating the natural composition are ideal. The limit of this paper is in the examination of his writing theory with only a part of it, not considering all of its many parts, because there are so many Hong Gil-joo’s works. However, this paper is significant in its examination of Hong Gil-joo’s theory of writing from a rhetorical viewpoint to examine its present significance and to compare it with western rhetoric and expand the horizon of comparative rhetoric research. I expect that the universality and the uniqueness of the Korean rhetoric can be revealed more clearly when discussions progressing through the subsequent research are carried out.

행장(行狀)의 서술원리와 수사(修辭)를 활용한 서사 쓰기 교육 방안 - 〈선비정경부인행장(先妣貞敬夫人行狀)〉과 〈조비행장습유록(祖妣行狀拾遺錄)〉을 중심으로 -

이 연구는 한국 전통 글쓰기 양식인 행장을 활용한 서사 쓰기 교육 방안에 관한 것이다. 필자는 현재 대학생들에게 필요한 것은 자아 정체성의 확립이며, 자신의 삶의 목표와 의미를 찾도록 하는 교육이라는 인식에서 내러티브 사고 함양을 목표로 하는 서사 쓰기 교수-학습 방안을 설계해 보았다. 이 모델에서는 한국 전기문학 양식의 하나인 행장(行狀) 가운데 두 작품(〈선비정경부인행장(先妣貞敬夫人行狀)〉, 〈조비행장습유록(祖妣行狀拾遺錄)〉)을 타인에 대한 서사 쓰기의 전범 텍스트로 선정하여 서술원리와 수사의 특징을 분석하고 이를 구성과 표현 전략으로 활용한 행장 쓰기를 직접 수행해 보게 하였다. 타인의 생애를 서술하는 행장 쓰기는 내러티브 사고의 함양을 통해 자신을 성찰할 수 있게 하며, 타인에 대한 공감 능력과 인간에 대한 이해 능력을 확장하고, 윤리적·도덕적 판단력 함양에 기여하는 의의가 있다. 타인에 대한 서사 쓰기는 글쓰기 교육의 인문적 가치를 제고하는 작업이다. 그간 대학 글쓰기 교육은 주로 표현력이나 사고력 함양을 목표로 시행되어 왔으며, 자신에 대한 성찰이나 타자에 대한 이해, 공감 능력의 함양과 같은 인격적 성숙을 도모하는 측면에서는 소홀함이 있었다. 교양교육으로서의 글쓰기 교육의 의의가 인문적 가치를 제고하는 데 있음을 고려할 때 자아정체성의 정립, 타자에 대한 이해와 연대, 인간다운 삶과 바람직한 가치의 실현 등을 고민하게 하는 서사 쓰기 교육은 우리 시대에 꼭 필요하고 의미 있는 글쓰기 교육이 아닌가 생각된다. This paper is about an educational method for narrative writing using the traditional writing mode of Korea. This paper is designed for a narrative writing teaching-learning model that aims to cultivate narrative thinking in the perception that the current college students need the establishment of self-identity and education to find the goals and meanings of their lives. In this model, two works 〈先妣貞敬夫人行狀〉 and 〈祖妣行狀拾遺錄〉 amidst Haengjang, one of the Korean biography writing, were selected as examples of writing narratives about others and analyze the principles of the narrative and the features of rhetorics. Also, they were asked to perform the Haengjang writing, applying the narrative principle and strategy of composition and expression. The Haengjang writing that narrates the lives of others enables students to reflect on themselves through the cultivation of narrative thinking, expand the ability to empathize with others, and contribute to the cultivation of ethical and moral judgment. Writing narratives about others is the work of raising the humanistic value of writing education. In the meantime, university writing education mainly aims to improve expression and thinking skills while lacking personality maturities, such as introspection, understanding of the other person, and developing empathy skills. As the significance of writing education as a liberal arts education is to enhance humanistic values, narrative writing education that enables us to establish self-identity, to solidify with others, and to think about what is human life and what are desirable values, is a necessary and meaningful writing education in our time.

국내 시각장애인도서관의 대체자료 제작현황 및 개선방안 연구

시각장애인에게 대체자료는 정보접근 및 이용, 지식정보 격차해소, 사회참여 및 통합에 매우 중요한 요소이다. 그럼에도 불구하고 대체자료는 최근까지도 점자도서관 등의 자발적 노력과 자치단체의 재정지원 하에 개인의 요청이나 담당자의 판단으로 제작되고 있기 때문에 그 범위가 문학자료와 교양 취미도서로 한정되고 중복제작 될 뿐만 아니라 대체포맷 또한 매우 제한적이다. 이에 본 연구에서는 국내외 도서관 및 관련 단체의 대체자료 제작사례를 분석하고 시각장애인도서관과 시각장애인을 대상으로 설문조사 방식을 적용하여 대체자료 제작현황과 인식을 조사 분석하였다. 이를 바탕으로 대체자료 제작 및 이용 활성화를 위한 개선방안을 제시하였다. Alternative materials for the visually disabled are very important factors for accessing and using information, dissolving the knowledge information gap, social participation and integration. Nevertheless, since alternative materials have been produced, until recently, even under the voluntary efforts of the braille library and the financial support of local governments, the scope of the materials is restricted to literary materials and hobby books, duplicated in title, and limited in format. In this study, we investigated and analyzed the cases of domestic and international library and related organizations' alternative material production and the current state and perception of alternative materials by applying the survey method to special libraries for the visually disabled and the visually disabled. Based on these results, we added suggestions for the improvement for alternative material production and utilization.

주행거리확장 전기자동차의 발전기용량에 관한 연구

Most of countries are expanding their policy to supply eco-friendly vehicles and many car-makers are developing and launching their own electric vehicles. Unlike a preexpectation, however, the market of electric vehicle is still cold because of several critical problems. The major obstacles are short driving range, high cost, charging solution and so on. So new type of range extenders are being developed and introduced these days to present the solutions about driving range, cost and charging problem. This paper mentions the several kinds of range extender and relation between the generator capacity and driving performance. The generator power of the range extender should be considered what the car is for and who the user is and how much the target cost is. After ending pure EV-mode, in extended mode, what is the maximum continuous speed on the highway? At the flat road, at the 3% gradient, 5%,… what is the max keeping speed? How about the cost impact? What about the commercial value? In this document we can have a chance to think about the generator output of the range extender.
