This thesis investigates the styles of Modern Korean railway stations which constructed between 1899 and 1945. Railway stations' principal style of architecture can be divided into five different forms, which are Mixed Japanese Style with Western design element. Western Classic Style, Japanese Style incoporated Western in elevation, Korean Traditional Style and International Style. Mixed Japanese Style with Western design element usually shows the composition of rectangle plane with wooden-Japanese roof. Western Classic Style can be found prime locations railway stations such as Pusan, Shinuiju, and Seoul. In this case, Japan tries to spread the advanced-western architectural styles in the purpose of control the colonized country more efficiently. Japanese Style incorporated Western in elevation and plan in architectural preservation can be defined as the coexistence of Western and Mixed Japanese Style with Western design element architecture. Through 1930s, historical preservative and some of touristic cities' stations were developed as Korean Traditional Style. It constructed with concrete columns and brick walls instead of wooden structure and finished with mortar and materials and the style of openings and roof are influenced with Japanese style. Finally, in 1920s, it seems that the use of simple cubic shape of geometrical composition increases rather than using existing architectural styles. However, the stations in this period emphasize the cost-minimized functions of building as well as shorten the construction period rather than emphasizing the new western shape of architecture and the essence of modern architecture.
단백뇨를 보이는 사구체 질환 및 당뇨병성 신병증에서의 Lp(a)

Background: Recently there has been evidences that serum Lp(a), an independent risk factor to atherosclerotic cardiovascular diseases, were increased in proteinuric disorders such as nephrotic syndrome and diabetic nephropathy. Methods: We intended to search of altered concentrations of Lp(a) in proteinuric disorder measuring serum Lp(a) concentrations with ELISA in 44 glomerulonephritic patients(25 nephrotic syndrome(NS), 19 non-nephrotic range proteinuric glomerulonephritis(GN), 25 diabetic nephropathy patients(DN), and 31 healthy controls(HC). Also, we compared Lp(a) concentration between glomerulonephritis patients and diabetic nephropathy patients with proteinuria of similar degree. Results: 1) There were significantly increased levels of total choesterol, triglyceride, and LDL-cholesterol in Ns compared to GN, DN, HC. 2) There were significantly increased concentrations of serum Lp(a) in NS compared to HC, but no signiicant difference in serum Lp(a) among NS, GN, and DN. 3) There was no significant difference in serum Lp(a) concentrations between NS & DN with 24 hour urine protein greater than 3.0g. 4) There was no significant difference in serum Lp(a) concentration between GN with 24 hour urine protein greater than 0.5g and less than 1.5g and DN with proteinuria of simial degree. 5) In glomerulonephritis patients, there was negative correlation between serum Lp(a) concentration and serum albumin level but correlation with 24 hour urinary protein, total cholesterol, Ldl-cholesterol, and HDL-cholesterol was not shown. In diabetic nephropathy, there was no significant correlation among serum Lp(a) concentration and all parameters including serum albumin, 24 hour urinary protein, and other lipid profiles. Conclusion: The present study confirmed that patients with nephrotic syndrome of diverse etiologies have makedly increased plasma level of Lp(a), in conjunction with other lipid abnormalities. However, this study shows no difference in Lp(a) concentrations between diabetic nephropathy and glomerulonephritis with similar degree of proteinuria.
Phage Ф FSV가 Lactobacillus casei의 증식에 미치는 영향

Phage Φ FSV가 유산종균의 배양에 미치는 영향을 조사하기 위하여 prophage Φ FSV를 보유한 L. casei YIT 9018 균주나 prophage cured strain인 L. casei HYM 1213 균주에 phage Φ FSV(Lac S21)나 wild type phage Φ J-1(Lac J-1)을 임의의 농도로 각각 감염시켜 이들 균주의 증식을 비교하였다. Lac S21 phage를 L. casei YIT 9018 균주에 감염시켰을 경우, 초기 감염농도가 6.0×10 exp(6) pfu/㎖ 미만인 시료에서는 균주의 성장 및 유산생성능이 정상적이었으며, 오히려 phage수는 감소하였다. 그러나 L. casei HYM 1213균주는 Lac S21 phage에도 민감하게 반응하여, 감염된 균주는 감염시킨 농도에 상관없이 모두 2일균에서 phage가 10^9∼10^10 pfu/㎖로 급격히 증가하였으며, 계속 배양함에도 phage는 감소되지 않고 6일균에서 10^7∼10^9 pfu/㎖로 유지되었고, 이로 인하여 유산균은 정상 발효를 못하였다. 따라서 phage Φ FSV는 모균주인 L. casei YIT 9018 균주에는 어떠한 영향도 미치지 못하고, 오히려 prophage cured strains에는 민감하게 작용하여 비정상 발효를 유도함을 알 수 있었다. 또한, Lac J-1 phage는 prophage Φ FSW를 보유한 L. casei YIT 9018 균주와 prophage cured strain인 L. casei HYM 1213 균주에 모두 민감하게 감염되어 phage의 농도가 급증하고, 이로 인해 균주의 이상발효를 야기시켰다. In order to study effect of the phage Φ FSV on the growth of lactic acid bacteria, Lactobacillus casei YIT 9018 (wild type strain with prophage) or L. casei HYM 1213 (prophage cured strain) was infected with various concentrations of phage Φ FSV (called Lac S21) or wild type virulent phage (called Lac J-1). When L. casei YIT 9018 was infected with Lac S21 under the concentration of 6.0×10 exp(6) pfu/㎖, the growth and lactic acid production of the strain were normal and the number of phages decreased. But L. casei HYM 1213 was susceptible to Lac S21. Regardless of the concentration of the phage infection, the number of phages increased rapidly into 10^9 to 10^10 pfu/㎖ at 2 day cultures and was maintained 10^7 to 10^9 pfu/㎖ phages until 6 day cultures. The lactic acid production of L_n casei HYM 1213 infected with Lac S21 was abnormal. Therefore, phage Φ FSV had an evil effect on growth of L. casei HYM 1213, but not L. casei YIT 9018. On the other hand Lac J-1 caused abnormal fermentation to either L. casei YIT 9018 or L. casei HYM 1213.

Kaolinite has been hydrothermally synthesized at 220℃ for 15 days with various acidic solution using a mixture of silica monomer and gibbsite or boehmite with a Si/Al ration =1. Acid solution treatment for kaolinite synthesis promotes the dissolution of the starting materials and leads to crystallization in short induction periods. Kaolinite synthesized with gibbsite treated with nitric acid was synthesized in short induction period and 10 ㎛ cubic form crystal, but gave a lower crystallinity due to disordering of unit cell to crystal, whereas Kaolinite synthesized with gibbsite treated with chloric acid gave a higher crystallinity and 0.5 ㎛ hexagonal plate form crystal.

This paper compares the processing speed and communication cost and memory needed for storage of five identification schemes in 2^-20, 2^-30, 2^-72 security level : Fiat-Shamir, Micali-Shamir, Cuillou-Quisquater, Schnorr, and Brickell-McCurley.
합성하수를 이용한 금속 막의 정밀여과 특성 및 막 오염 제어

This study was to evaluate the filtration performance of metal membrane with synthetic wastewater and to investigate the effective control of membrane fouling using ozone backwashing. The increase of substrate concentration caused the increase of cake layer resistance and total resistance, however, plugging resistance decreased. Total resistance of metal membrane was mainly attributed to the permeate resistance of cake layer, which was formed by deposited particles from the physico-chemical interactions of solids on membrane surface. Intermittent ozone backwashing was more effective then the air backwashing for fouling reduction. The permeation flux recovery of air backwashing decreased over 50%, however, ozone backwashing decreased less than 10% for 4 hours filtration. This may be ascribed to the degradation of foulants in pore structure by the strong oxidation of ozone and physical exfoliation of cake layer on membrane surface with backwashing.

After establishing improved HPLC analytical method ofcefaclor in human plasma samples, a bioavailability study of cefaclor capsules was conducted according to the guidelines of Korea Food and Drug Administration (KFDA). The standard calibration curve using an HPLC with UV detector was constructed in a range of 0.0324--16 μg/m1. The 6% perchloric acid instead of 6% trichloroacetic acid was used to precipitate plasma protein. The HPLC chromatograms were precisely and accurately resolved when spiked with human plasma spiked with cefaclor and cephalexin (internal standard). Twenty healthy male Korean volunteers received two commercial cefaclor capsules, Neocef ' capsule (Jinyang Pharm. Co., Ltd) or Ceclor" capsule {Lilly Korea. Co., Ltd.) at the 250 mg cefaclor in a 2 x 2 crossover study. There was a one-week washout period between the doses. Plasma concentrations of cefaclor were monitored for 8 hours after oral drug administration. AUC, the area under the plasma concentration-time curve from time zero to 8 hr (13 points), was calculated by the linear trapezoidal rule method. C,,,a" (maximum plasma drug concentration) and Tmax (time to reach Cma,) were compiled from the plasma concentration-time data. Analysis of variance was carried out using logarithmically transformed AUC, and Cmax. No significant sequence effect was found for all of the bioavailability parameters indicating that the cross-over design was properly performed. The 90% confidence intervals of the AUC, ratio and the Cmax ratio for Neocer/Ceclor" were 0.9049 S S < 1.0304 and 0.9776 5 S 1.226, respectively. These values were within the acceptable bioequivalence intervals of 0.80-1.25. Thus, our study demonstrated the bioequivalence of Neocef"/Ceclor" with respect to the extent of absorption.

In this paper, the secular changes of buried grounding electrodes was investigated; the electrodes are such facilities as grounding grid, grounding connector, grounding terminal and grounding rod etc.. The corrosiveness of removed substation grounding electrodes after commercial operation more than 50 years was measured and its conductivity deterioration trend was analyzed. The measuring results using three experimental methods were compared, finally the consideration for safe and economic grounding design were shown.
