      • Ehrilich Ascites Carcinoma에 대한 Tubercin-3와 5-Fluorouracil의 치료효과

        생쥐(mouse)에 Ehrlich 복수암을 皮下에 移植하여 固形癌을 誘發하고, BCG, Tubercin-3 및 5-FU, 5-FU와 BCG 그리고 5-FU와 Tubercin-3의 병합투여를 連 10日間 投與하므로서 腫瘍의 쇠퇴여부를 실험하여 다음의 成績을 얻었다. 對照群의 Ehrlich 복수암皮下 이식後 14日째의 암조직重量은 3.52gm이었으며, BCG 투여군은 3.46gm, Tubercin-3투여군은 0.03gm, 5FU투여군은 3.12gm. 그리고 BCG와 5-FU 倂合투여군은 4.02gm등으로써 대조군과 처치군사이에 有意한 差異를 보이지 않았다. 實驗 14日째의 Tubercin-3와 5-FU의 倂合투여군의 암조직重量은 1.75gm으로써 本動物群의 値만이 對照群과 比較하여 有意한 差를 보였으며, Tubercin-3는 5-FU치료와 병합사용하여 유효할 것으로 사료되었다. Chung had extracted Tubercin-3, from tubercle bacilli and applied to various types of caner with clinical improement(1974). On this study to determine the effect of Tubercin-3 and 5-Fluorouracil in the the Ehrlich ascites carcinoma, 48 mice were divided into 6 groups of 8 animals receiving BCG, Tubercin-3, 5-Fluorouracil, BCG and 5-Fluorouracil, Tuercin-3 and 5-Fluorouracil, and control for 10 days. On the 14th days after cancer cell inoculation, all surviving mice were carefvlly taken out and weighed. The average weight of solid tumor was calculated in each group and results were shown below: Nontreated(control); 3.52 gm, BCG treated; 3.46gm, Tubercin-3 treated; 3.03gm, 5-Fluorouracil treated; 3.12gm BCG and 5-Fluoruracil treated; 4.02gm, Tubercin-and 5-Fluorouracil treated; 1.75gm. Combined treatment fo Tubercin-3 and 5-Fluorouracil seemed to be effective in the solid type of Ehrlich ascites carcinoma.

      • 본태성 고혈압쥐의 성장에 따른 뇌신경 세포막 Na, K-ATPase변동에 관한 연구

        To investigate the development change of synaptosomal Na, K-ATPase of hypertensive rat, Na, K-ATPase activity and ouabain binding sites were measured in the synaptosomal membrane prepared from 3 days-, 2 weeks-, 20 weeks- old Sprague-Dawley rats and spontaneously hypertensive rats Resulrs are as follows; 1. in the synaptosomal Na, K-ATPase of the normotensive and hypertensive rats, there were 2 kinds of isozymes, high affinity site(IC_(50):80-260 nM) and low affinity site(IC_(50):30-60 μM) 2. Synaptosomal Na, K-ATPase activity was increased in 2 and 20 weeks(high affinity site) or 2 weeks(low affinity site) old compared to that in 3 days old rat, and showed a tendency of decrease in 33 weeks old compared to that in 20 weeks old rats(high affinity site) in both groups. 3. Synaptosomal Na, K-ATPase activities of hypertensive rats were low in 3 days and 2 weeks old(high affinity site) or 3 days old (low affinity site) compared to that age groups of normotensive rats. 4. In the ouabain binding experiments, Kd value(0.1-0.2 μM) for ouabain was slightly increased with increase of age, but no difference between normotensive and hypertensive rats was detected. 5. The numbers of ouabain binding sites were increased in 2 weeks and 20 weeks old compared to those in 3 days old rats, and showed a tendency of decrease in 33 weeks old compared to that in 20 weeks old rats. 6. In the hypertensive rats, the number of ouabain binding sites was low in 3 days, compared to that of the correponding age group of normotensive rats. From the above results, it is suggested that in the spontaneously hypertensive rat, 1) synaptosomal Na, K-ATPase of high affinity site or low affinity site is increased significantly after birth as well as in the normotensive rat, 2) but significantly less than that of normotensive rats in early periods after birth and this may due to the low concentration in both high and low affinity Na, K-ATPase isozymes for ouabain.

        The Chun-cheon Citizen's Bell was cast in memory of hosting the 2010 world leasure conference and a striking ceremony was held at the city hall on December 31, 2005. In this study, vibration and sound of the bell are measured and the property of the magnificent sound of the bell is scientifically investigated. Frequency components making the sound are identified and how the frequency components decrease with time is observed using waterfall plot(3-dimensional frequency spectrum). Beat characteristics of the hum(1st frequency) and the fundamental(2nd frequency)are examined by experiment. Directivity of the sound radiation of the bell is examined by measuring the vibration and sound in several directions. Duration of the vibration and the sound is estimated using damping ratio.

        The frictional experiments have been carried out on alloyed tool steel (STD11) to investigate frictional surface and its hard layer. The results obtainedare as follows; The average hardness of frictional surface increases with the compressing force, but decreases after a specific compressing force. It also increases with the sliding distance, but stays constant after a specific sliding distance. The thickness of hard layer due to friction increases with the sliding distance.

        Possibility of the eavesdropping is investigated on a conference room-glass window coupled system. Speech intelligibility analysis is performed on the eavesdropping sound of the glass window. Using MLS(Maximum Length Sequency) signal as a sound source, acceleration and velocity responses of the glass window are measured by accelerometer and laser doppler vibrometer. MTF(Modulation Transfer Function) is used to identify the speech transmission characteristics of the room and window system. STI(Speech Transmission Index) is calculated by using MTF and speech intelligibility of the vibration sound is estimated. Speech intelligibilities by the acceleration signal and the velocity signal are compared.

      • 진동모드를 이용한 링 구조물의 결함 탐지

        A damage detection algorithm using vibration modes is applied to the ring structures and the modal behaviors of the slightly asymmetric rings are examined. Mode shape change, MSER(modal strain energy ratio) and MCR(modal curvature ratio) are investigated to identify the locations of faults or damages. The above fault detection parameters are calculated and compared by the finite element analysis on rings with designed local damages. Damages are modeled as a reduced stiffness in the analysis. The results show that MSER and MCR can be proper parameters to detect local damages in the ring structures.

      • 육상 100m 달리기 지도 및 기록향상을 위한 기술분석

        This study was performed to analyze the technique of 100m sprint running and to offer profitable information related to sprint running to trainer and sprinter. To this purpose the technique of 100m sprint running was divided into four phase, that is, start phase, acceleration phase, maximum speed phase and finish phase. The following is summary. 1. In the 'set' position the most effective fore-leg and near-leg angle is 90 ˚, 120 ˚ respectively. Backbone angle is 27 ˚, shoulder position is on 10cm ahead of starting line. The head and neck are naturally as an extension of the trunk. The sprinter needs maximum concentration for the first action of the arms and legs. When the starting pistol fires the a straight line can be drawn from the toes of extended driving leg to the sprinter's head. 2. During the acceleration phase the body will gradually rise from a pronounced to a slight forward lean. The arms must be harmony with the legs. The hands are lifted not much higher than shoulder level. 3. During the maximum speed phase when the driving leg land below of gravity center the knee must be somewhat bended for reduction of the landing brake. Recovery leg heel moves to the buttocks to reduce the length of plumb and to increase the number of pitch. Arms must swing with 90 degrees at the elbow. 4. During the finish phase the sprinter must do the exact finishing techniques at exact timing. That is, it is disadvantageous for the sprinter to do the finish technique on excessive tension and to do jumping. A forward dip finish method during the last stride before the finish line is the most commonly used technique.

        DBD 반응기에서 플라즈마 방전형태에 따른 PFC_(s) 가스의 분해 특성

        Perfluorocompounds(PFC_(s)), such as tetrafluoromethane (CF₄) and hexafluoroethane (C₂F_(6)), have been widely used as plasma etching and chemical vapor deposition (CVD) gases for semiconductor manufacturing processes. Since these PFC_(s) are known to cause a greenhouse effect intensively, there has been a growing interest in reducing PFC_(s) emissions. Among various CF₄ decomposing techniques, a dielectric barrier discharge (DBD) is considered as one of a promising candidate because it has been successfully used for generating ozone (O₃) and decomposing nitrogen oxide (NO). Firstly, optimal concentration of oxygen for CF₄ decomposition was found to figure out how many primary and secondary reactions are associated with DBD process. Secondary, to find effective discharge method for CF₄ decomposition, a streamer and a glow mode in DBD are experimentally compared, which includes (ⅰ) coaxialcylinder DBD, (ⅱ) DBD reactor packed with glass beads. and (ⅲ) a glow mode operation with a helium gas. The test results showed that optimal concentration of oxygen was ranged 500 ppm~1% for treating 500 ppm of CF₄ and helium glow discharge was the most efficient one to decompose CF₄.
