부산 금정산일대 용천수, 지하수 및 지열수의 지화학적 특성

Spring, groundwater and thermal water from the area and the vicinity of Mt. Geumjeong and Mt. Baekyang, Pusan city, has been sampled and analyzed for major and minor elements. According to the Piper diagram, spring water belongs to Ca^2^+-HCO_3^- and Na^+-HCO_3^- types, groundwater to Ca^2^+-HCO_3^- type, and thermal water to Na^+-CI^- type. Based on the phase stability diagrams of [Ca^2^+I/[H^+]^2, [Mg^2^^+I/[H^+]^2, and [Na^+I/[H^+] vs. [H_4SiO_4], spring water, groundwater and thermal water are mostly in equilibrium with kaolinite. The result of factor analysis shows three factors (factor 1,2 and factor 3) for the spring water, the groundwater and the thermal water which are represented by the influence of the dissolution of feldspar, calcite, anthropogenic sources (domestic and industrial wastes) and salt water.

폴리머 콘크리트 복합체를 이용하여 악천후에도 시인성이 좋고 주위의 경관과 어울리는 자동점멸 표지병을 개발하였다. 아날로그 회로에 비해 설계상의 난해한 점이 있으나 상대적으로 간편한 디지털 회로를 사용하여 자동점멸 회로를 구성하였으며, 작업의 능률을 높이고 개발비를 줄이기 위하여 OrCAD를 사용한 Simulation을 실시후 회로를 구성하였다. 표지병의 시공시와 같은 환경에서의 실험에서는 디지털회로의 작은 전류와 표지병간의 거리, 전선의 저항으로 인하여 클럭 및 클리어 신호에 전압강하와 상승/하강 시간의 증가가 나타났다. 표지병은 전자회로와 함께 설치되어야 하므로 방수성을 고려하여 표지병과 전자회로를 일체형으로 설계하였다. 실제 시공시의 환경에서 시행한 실험에서 나타난 문제점을 검토하였으며, 향후 연구방향에 관하여 고찰하였다. Using polymer concrete composite, the automatic-on/off road marker that is well distinguished in a bad weather condition of rainy or foggy day and is well harmonized with. Digital circuit that is hard to design but simpler than an analog circuit is used in designing the automatic-on/off circuit, and it order to raise the working efficiency and lower the development cost, OrCAD, a simulation tool of electric circuit, was used in simulating the circuit. In an experiment conducted under the circumstance of practical application, voltage drop and raising/lowering time increment in the clock and the clear signals are occurred because of small current of digital circuit and resistance of electrical line. Because that the road marker is assembled with the digital circuit, it is designed as one assembled unit by considering water proof. Some problems occurred in the experiment and the future work are discussed.
두경부 악성 림프종의 면역조직화학적 유형분석 및 Epstein-Barr virus의 검출

Background and Objectives : The Epstein-Barr virus(EBV) is a human herpes virus which causes infectious mononucleosis and is associated with such human cancers as Burkitt's lymphoma and nasopharyngeal carcinoma. However, the role of EBV as a causative factor in other head and neck tumors is not fully elucidated. Malignant lymphoma is a tumor of the immune system which is commonly known as a non-epithelioid tumor of the head and neck region. Recent studies have suggested a probable etiologic association between EBV and lymphomas. This study was performed to investigate the strength of the association of EBV with malignant lymphoma and to carry out an immunohistochemical classification. Materials and Methods : Twenty one cases of non-Hodgkin's lymphoma tissues in the head and neck were used. Immunohistochemical staining was carried out with EBV protein, CD20 and CD3. Results : Among the 21 cases of malignant lymphoma, 9(43%) of the cases were of B cell lineage, 10(48%) of the cases of T cell lineage and 2(10%) of the cases were of an unclassifiable type. The commonest histopathologic type were diffuse large cell types and diffuse mixed types in 8(38%) of the cases. All 6 cases(100%) of nasal/paranasal sinus lymphoma were T-cell lymphoma. The detection rate of EBV in malignant lymphoma tissue was 52%. EBV was detected in 5 cases(56%) of B-cell lineage and 6 cases(60%) of T-cell lineage. Among 6 cases of nasal/paranasal sinus T-cell lymphoma, 4(67%) were positive for anti-human EBV protein. In the positive cases, a large number of the neoplastic cells and infiltrated lymphocytes showed strong nuclear signals. Conclusion : These results suggest that most nasal/paranasal sinus lymphomas are T-cell type neoplasms and EBV probably plays an etiologic role in the pathogenesis of group nasal/paranasal sinus T-cell lymphomas.
Successive Interactions of a Shock Wave with Serially Arranged Vortices

Navier-Stokes computation based on a new simplified model is proposed to investigate the interactions of a moving shock wave with multiple vortices arranged in the serial manner. This model problem simulates shock-vortexlet interactions at the shear layer of a compressible vortex often observed in the experiment. Applying the Foppl's idea, we extended the Rankin's model generally used for the description of a single vortex to the multi-vortex version. The acoustic pulses accelerated and decelerated are successively generated and propagated from each shock-vortex interaction, which simply explains the genesis of eccentrically diverging acoustic waves appearing in the experimental photograph.

An experimental model to enhance the mixing of parallel supersonic-subsonic jet (M₁=1.78 and M₂=0.30) is simulated with a numerical technique by modeling the wall-mounted cavity to a boundary condition of oscillating pressure. The computed pitot pressure distributions along three representative cross sections show a good agreement with the equivalent experimental data. The irradiation of acoustic wave in the ultrasonic range causes the mixing augmentation of jet and wake due to the transfer of vibration energy between fluid particles.
