• 이동통신망에서의 최적 셀 할당에 관한 연구

        권수태,정소영,윤상흠,김호준 전주대학교 공학기술종합연구소 2003 전주대학교 공학기술종합연구소 학술논문집 Vol.9 No.1

The paper considers a cell allocation problem in the Mobile Wireless Communication Network with limited capacity of Base Switching Center(BSC) and Mobile Switching Center(MSC), and the aim is assigning cells to BSC and MSC for supporting an efficient handoff and reducing the cabling cost. The cell assignment problem is formulated as a mixed integer programming, and a genetic algorithm is developed to derive the optimal solution. A verity of numerical problems are presented and then some interesting properties are exploited that are useful for charactering the problem.

        韓國에서의 臨床藥學展望

        Sands, Charles D. 한국병원약사회 1987 병원약사회지 Vol.4 No.2

Ⅰ. Historical Development and Definition ; A number of factors have spurred the development of clinical pharmacy. These include : (1) disregard of public needs by the health care system, (2) the absence of a single group with responsibility for drug use control, (3) overeducated and under-utilized pharmacists, (4) diminished demand for compounding of drugs, and (5) inadequate drug knowledge by health professionals and patients. Clinical pharmacy can be defined as a health science speciality whose responsibility is to assure the safe and appropriate use of drugs in patients through the application of specialized knowledge and functions in patient care. Ⅱ. Functions and Services of Clinical Pharmacy ; The scope of pharmacy includes drug development, drug control and drug use. Clinical pharmacy deals primarily with drug use and involves providing drug information, pharmacokinetics, therapeutic specialization and patient specific managment/consultation. Ⅲ. Development of Clinical Pharmacy in Korea ; In my opinion, the initial stimulation for the development of Clinical Pharmacy in Korea began with the efforts of Dr. Yun Sung Chough of the College of Pharmacy, Seoul National University. Ⅳ. Problems and Challenges for the Future ; In promoting the continued growth of clinical pharmacy in Korea, there are many obstacles to overcome. Probably the greatest challenge lies in the area of the promotion of the concept of rational drug therapy. There is much that is not rational about drug therapy in Korea. and it will take the combined efforts of all health care professionals to overcome this problem. Pharmacists must play a leading role in this effort. V. The Future of Clinical Pharmacy in Korea ; In my opinion, the future of clinical pharmacy in Korea is very bright. Korea has the opportunity to become one of the leading countries where clinical pharmacy is practiced. Clinical pharmacy services should and can be provided in all hospital and community pharmacies in Korea. To accomplish this, it will take much effort and sacrifice on the part of all pharmacists but the rewards to the profession and to the patient will be great.

Production of omega 3, 6, and 9 fatty acids from hydrolysis of vegetable oils and animal fat with Colletotrichum gloeosporioides lipase

Sande, Denise,Colen, Gecernir, dos Santos, Gabriel Franco,Ferraz, Vany Perpetua,Takahashi, Jacqueline Aparecida 한국식품과학회 2018 Food Science and Biotechnology Vol.27 No.2

Hydrolysis of vegetable oils (Olive, corn, peanut, sesame, flaxseed, soy, canola, garlic, sunflower, almond, castor bean oils) and beef marrow bone oil by Colletotrichum gloeosporioides lipase was studied. The enzyme was capable of generating free fatty acids from all oils tested. The higher hydrolytic activity of the enzyme was towards olive (18.0 IU) and soybean (17.8 IU) oils. The average percentage of essential fatty acids generated from hydrolysis of the oils was 32.92% of omega 9 (as oleic acid C18:1), 26.24% of omega 6 (linoleic C18:2), and 5.86% of omega 3 (such as ${\alpha}$-linolenic acid C18:3). Comparison between chromatographic profile of the oils and its enzymatic hydrolysate showed a good equivalence, stressing the applicability of these vegetable substrates under the action of lipase from C. gloeosporioides produce essential fatty acids, being more efficient production of ${\alpha}$-linolenic acid from flaxseed oil, linoleic acid from sunflower oil, and oleic acid from olive.

THE SAMI GALAXY SURVEY: REVISITING GALAXY CLASSIFICATION THROUGH HIGH-ORDER STELLAR KINEMATICS

        Sande, Jesse van de,Bland-Hawthorn, Joss,Fogarty, Lisa M. R.,Cortese, Luca,d’Eugenio, Francesco,Croom, Scott M.,Scott, Nicholas,Allen, James T.,Brough, Sarah,Bryant, Julia J.,Cecil, Gerald,Colless, Ma American Astronomical Society 2017 The Astrophysical journal Vol.835 No.1

Recent cosmological hydrodynamical simulations suggest that integral field spectroscopy can connect the high-order stellar kinematic moments h(3) (similar to skewness) and h(4) (similar to kurtosis) in galaxies to their cosmological assembly history. Here, we assess these results by measuring the stellar kinematics on a sample of 315 galaxies, without a morphological selection, using two-dimensional integral field data from the SAMI Galaxy Survey. Proxies for the spin parameter (lambda(Re)) and ellipticity (epsilon(e)) are used to separate fast and slow rotators; there exists a good correspondence to regular and non-regular rotators, respectively, as also seen in earlier studies. We confirm that regular rotators show a strong h(3) versus V/sigma s anti-correlation, whereas quasi-regular and non-regular rotators show a more vertical relation in h(3) and V/sigma. Motivated by recent cosmological simulations, we develop an alternative approach to kinematically classify galaxies from their individual h(3) versus V/sigma signatures. Within the SAMI Galaxy Survey, we identify five classes of high-order stellar kinematic signatures using Gaussian mixture models. Class 1 corresponds to slow rotators, whereas Classes 2-5 correspond to fast rotators. We find that galaxies with similar lambda(Re)-epsilon(e) -values can show distinctly different h(3)-V/sigma signatures. Class 5 objects are previously unidentified fast rotators that show a weak h(3) versus V/sigma anti-correlation. From simulations, these objects are predicted to be disk-less galaxies formed by gas-poor mergers. From morphological examination, however, there is evidence for large stellar disks. Instead, Class 5 objects are more likely disturbed galaxies, have counter-rotating bulges, or bars in edge-on galaxies. Finally, we interpret the strong anti-correlation in h(3) versus V/sigma as evidence for disks in most fast rotators, suggesting a dearth of gas-poor mergers among fast rotators.

      • Research on Prediction of Press-Forming and Spring Back of Spiral Plates by FEM Simulation

        Sande Gao,Keijiro Nakasa (사)한국CDE학회 2010 한국CAD/CAM학회 국제학술발표 논문집 Vol.2010 No.8

In order to provide technical supports for designing a new type of spiral plate forming machine, FEM analysis and simulation were carried out based on pressing tests. Deformation, stress distribution, residual stress and spring back of the spiral plate were calculated. Relationships between the spiral pitch to inclination angle of the punch and die, material properties and thickness of the plate were analyzed. A data converter was developed effectively used in the analysis.

Modification of guar gum through grafting of acrylamide with potassium bromate/thiourea redox initiating system

        Sand, A.,Kwark, Y. J. 한국섬유공학회 2017 Fibers and polymers Vol.18 No.4

In the present work, graft copolymers of acrylamide onto guar gum were synthesized by free radical polymerization using potassium bromate/thiourea redox initiating system. The guar gum and guar gum-g-polyacrylamide were characterized by infrared spectroscopy and thermogravimetric analysis. It was found that the guar gum-g-polyacrylamid was thermally more stable than pure guar gum. The grafting ratio, grafting efficiency, add-on, and conversion increased with the concentration of bromate and acrylamide, whereas they decreased with increasing the concentration of guar gum. The grafting ratio and grafting efficiency showed maximum value at the concentration of thiourea and hydrogen ions of 3.2x10(-3) mol dm(-3) and 4.0x10(-3) mol dm(-3), respectively, but decreased with further increasing the thiourea and hydrogen ions concentrations. The increase in temperature from 30 to 45 C-omicron resulted in increasing the grafting ratio while decreasing the conversion. The optimum reaction time for the graft copolymerization was found to be 2 h. Compared to the parent guar gum, the graft copolymer showed higher water swelling capacity and metal ion sorption, as well as better flocculant behaviors.

Performing in the “Cultural Borderlands”: Gender, Trauma, and Performance Practices of a North Korean Women’s Musical Troupe in South Korea

        Iain Sands 고려대학교 민족문화연구원 2018 Cross-Currents Vol.0 No.29

North Korean women encounter traumatic experiences escaping from North Korea. Upon arriving in South Korea, despite being officially welcomed as co-ethnics, many North Korean migrants find that their hopes for a better life are not realized. On the one hand, women arriving from the North are ethnic Koreans and speak the same language as South Koreans. On the other hand, they are in a territory whose culture and society are entirely foreign to them. Against this background, women from North Korea experience considerable trauma in South Korea as they struggle to negotiate new identities as gendered, liminal subjects in a cultural borderland. This article discusses a dance performance by an all-female performing arts troupe, P’yŏngyang Minsok Yesultan, to answer the following questions: How does the performance articulate traumatic and gendered migration experiences? To what extent might performance restore agency for North Korean trauma subjects? By closely engaging with North Korean women’s migration experiences and their performance practices in South Korea, the author shows that performance practices represent potentially empowering, affective sites that may open a space for restoration of North Korean women’s agency.
