As a basic study to ponder linguistic negotiation with Japanese in a process to establish and systematize modern Korean grammar, this thesis examines development of advent, use, and concept of a term ‘grammar’ targeting books related to modern grammar published in Japan. About the effect of Japanese grammar on the process to establish and systematize modern Korean grammar, various tries through Korean grammar book and study material written by Maema Kysaku, Takahashi Tohoru, Yakushiji Jiro reflecting ‘Compromise Grammar’ of Otsuki Fumihiko and ‘Yamada Grammar’ of Yamada Yoshio after Hoseko Sigekatsu and Shimai Hiroshi who are early influenced by Western grammar from late in the 18th century to the early 20th century penetrating the time of enlightenment are seen here and there. This thesis introduces Japanese materials of ‘A Study Database of Modern Korean Grammar Formation History’ as an extension line of Oi Hideaki and Seo Sangkyu(2015). Based on this, the researcher adds materials that are additionally investigated and analyzed after Oi Hideaki and Seo Sangkyu(2015), so collects ‘grammar’ in Japanese and terms related to this grammar, so looks back use and concept of the term ‘grammar’ of use aspect and concept.
PERFORMANCE ANALYSIS OF POWER SAVE MODE IN IEEE 802.11 INFRASTRUCTURE WLAN

We investigate power consumption of a station with power save mode in IEEE 802.11 infrastructure wireless local area network. Our method for investigating the power save mode is to construct a Markov chain. To see the effect of the power save mode, we obtain the mean queueing delay and the power consumption ratio. Numerical results show that there is a trade off between queueing delay and power consumption ratio. Using our performance analysis, we can find the optimal listen interval which minimize the power consumption of a wireless station while satisfying the required quality of service (QoS) on delay.
A NEW POWER SAVING MECHANISM IN IEEE 802.L6E

We propose an efficient power saving class in IEEE 802.16e. The proposed scheme saves the bandwidth and power consumption by skipping sleep mode request message and sleep mode response message required in power saving class of type 1. We model the proposed scheme by a Markov chain of M/G/1 type. We derive the average packet delay and the power consumption of a mobile station under the proposed scheme. Numerical results show that our analytic results match quite well with simulation results. Using our performance analysis, we find the optimal parameters such as neutral interval and sleep interval which minimize the power consumption of a mobile station while satisfying the required quality of service (QoS) on the average packet delay. The analysis shows that performance of our scheme is better than that of power saving class of type 1 in IEEE 802.l6e standard.
New Recorded Species in Three Genera of the Sordariomycetes in Korea

In an ongoing survey of Korean indigenous fungi, three fungal strains belonging to the Sordariomycetes were isolated from soil samples. These strains were designated KNU16-001, KNU16-002, and KNU16-009, and identified as Ambrosiella grosmanniae, Acremonium sclerotigenum, and Trichocladium asperum, respectively, based on morphological characterization and phylogenetic analysis using internal transcribed spacer region sequences of ribosomal DNA. This is the first report of these species in Korea.

최근 들어 재난의 대형화와 복잡화 등으로 인해 기존의 정부 중심의 재난관리 패러다임에서 벗어나 개인, 민 간사회, 기업, 군 등을 포괄하는 협력적 재난관리 거버넌스체계의 구축 필요성이 강조되고 있다. 본 연구에서는 이러한 재난관리 패러다임의 변화에 맞춰 바람직한 민관협력체계를 구축하기 위한 정책적 대안을 모색하고자 한 다. 이를 위해 우리나라의 민관협력 실태를 분석하고 미국과 일본의 사례를 비교하여 연구의 시사점을 도출하였 다. 우리나라의 대표적인 재난관리분야의 민관협력 주체로는 안전문화운동추진 중앙협의회, 지역자율방재단, 의용 소방대, 대한적십자사, 전국재해구호협회 등이 있다. 미국은 NVOAD, 일본은 NVNAD가 대표적인 기구로 활동하 고 있으며, 특히 일본의 NVNAD는 자발적으로 생성되어 대규모 재난 시 정보를 교환하고 피해지역의 자원봉사단 체와 다른 지역에서 구호활동에 참여하는 자원봉사단체를 조정ㆍ협력하는 등의 역할을 수행하였다. 이러한 미국 과 일본의 사례를 바탕으로 국내 민간부문의 활성화 방안을 살펴보면 첫째, 시민사회의 자발적 참여를 확보해 나 가야 할 것이다. 둘째, 자원봉사 주체간 조정과 연계를 강화시켜야 할 것이다. 셋째, 교육훈련 프로그램의 강화이 다. 넷째, 신속하고 정확한 정보의 공유체계를 확립해 나가야 할 것이다. 마지막으로 정부 책임만을 강조하는 재 난관리분야의 인식변화의 필요성이다. Recently due to the size and complexity of the disaster, government centered disaster management system is facing the needs of public private partnership for more effective disaster management. In this study, it is desired to explore the policy alternatives for building a suitable public-private cooperation to suit changes in these disaster management paradigms. Therefore, We analyzed the situation of the public-private cooperation in disaster management in Korea and suggested the implications by comparing the USA and Japan cases. The main strategies for activating the public private partnership on the disaster management are as follows. First, it is needed to settle the voluntary participation in private sector. Second, it is needed to strengthen the linkage and coordination between civil society. Third, it is needed to intensify the training and education programs. Fourth, it is needed to build the quick and accurate information sharing system. Finally it is needed to change the recognition of the people which is to emphasize only the responsibility of governments.
Platform Competition with Asymmetric Access Costs

We analyze competition between platforms under asymmetric access costs. Agents that belong to one platform do not pay access costs, but agents that participate in other platforms pay a positive access cost. An example is competition between application stores for mobile smart phones, because application users can pay for additional access costs to download and install third-party application stores instead of using preinstalled application stores. The equilibrium prices are much more complicated than those of symmetric access cost case which is analyzed by Armstrong (2006). It is clear that asymmetric access costs will reduce the equilibrium market shares of the platform with the disadvantage on both sides. However, the effects of asymmetric access costs on the equilibrium prices of both sides are ambiguous and rely mainly upon the relative levels of two different cross network effects.
