        Anesthetic Management and Outcomes of Endovascular Treatment of Basilar Artery Occlusion: Results From the ATTENTION Registry

        Background and Purpose To examine the clinical and safety outcomes after endovascular treatment (EVT) for acute basilar artery occlusion (BAO) with different anesthetic modalities. Methods This was a retrospective analysis using data from the Endovascular Treatment for Acute Basilar Artery Occlusion (ATTENTION) registry. Patients were divided into two groups defined by anesthetic modality performed during EVT: general anesthesia (GA) or non-general anesthesia (non-GA). The association between anesthetic management and clinical outcomes was evaluated in a propensity score matched (PSM) cohort and an inverse probability of treatment weighting (IPTW) cohort to adjust for imbalances between the two groups. Results Our analytic sample included 1,672 patients from 48 centers. The anesthetic modality was GA in 769 (46.0%) and non-GA in 903 (54.0%) patients. In our primary analysis with the PSM-based cohort, non-GA was comparable to GA concerning the primary outcome (adjusted common odds ratio [acOR], 1.01; 95% confidence interval [CI], 0.82 to 1.25; <i>P</i>=0.91). Mortality at 90 days was 38.4% in the GA group and 35.8% in the non-GA group (adjusted risk ratio, 0.95; 95% CI, 0.83 to 1.08; <i>P</i>=0.44). In our secondary analysis with the IPTW-based cohort, the anesthetic modality was significantly associated with the distribution of modified Rankin Scale at 90 days (acOR: 1.45 [95% CI: 1.20 to 1.75]). Conclusion In this nationally-representative observational study, acute ischemic stroke patients due to BAO undergoing EVT without GA had similar clinical and safety outcomes compared with patients treated with GA. These findings provide the basis for large-scale randomized controlled trials to test whether anesthetic management provides meaningful clinical effects for patients undergoing EVT.

        Characterization of a novel variant HMW‐glutenin gene from Elymus canadensis

        High molecular weight (HMW) glutenin subunits (GS) play a key role in the determination of end‐use quality of wheat and other cereal crops. In this study, we report the isolation and characterization of both promoter region and ORF of novel HMW‐GS allele 1St1.3 from a perennial Triticeae species,Elymus canadensis. The amino acid (AA) sequences of E. canadensis 1St1.3 were deduced as 434 aa. Its protein primary structure comprises a signal peptide with a conserved N‐terminal domain, a central repetitive domain and a C‐terminal domain. E. canadensis 1St 1.3 possesses several distinct characteristics which are different from those of wheat HMW‐GSs. The N‐terminal domains of E. canadensis 1St 1.3 resemble that of y‐type subunits, while their C‐terminal domains are more similar to x‐type subunits. The deletion of 85 bp fragment has been observed in promoter region of 1St 1.3, however which has not interrupted the expression of this gene. Our results indicate that 1St 1.3 is novel HMW‐GS variants which will be valuable for enhancing our understanding of structural differentiation and the evolutionary relationship among HMW‐GSs in Triticeae species.

        Purpose - The purpose of this paper is exploring the existing problems of the barrage video website in view of the current situation that the barrage video website has a great impact on people’s video viewing mod. Design/Methodology/Approach - Based on marketing, the paper studies the main problems of barrage video website. Based on the case analysis and the marketing theory of 4C, taking BILIBILI as an example, which is the most popular barrage found four main problems of barrage video website: lacking of humanization in UI design, unreasonable video content, copyright disputes and single income model. Therefore, we make four suggestions. Findings - This paper studies precision marketing and smart recommendation, creative advertising improves revenue structure, optimizing user experience, resolving copyright disputes. Research Implications - In the management of this paper, this study has significance in improving the content of barrage video website, spreading positive energy, improving user experience and reducing user cost, which will also provide reference for other scholars’ follow-up research.

      • Gallbladder Carcinoma: Analysis of Prognostic Factors in 132 Cases

        Objective: To evaluate the prognostic factors of gallbladder carcinoma. Methods: Presentation, operative data, complications, and survival outcome were examined for 132 gallbladder carcinoma patients who underwent gallbladder surgery in our unit during 2002-2007, and follow-up results were obtained from every patient for univariate and multivariate survival analysis. Results: The univariate analysis showed that gallbladder lesion history, tumor cell differentiation, Nevin staging, preoperative lymph node metastasis and the surgical approach significantly correlated with the prognosis of the patients (p<0.05). The results of the multivariate analysis (Cox regression) showed that gallbladder lesion history, Nevin staging and the surgical approach were independent predicators with relative risks of 6.9, 4.4, 2.8, respectively (p=0.002, 0.003, 0.008). Conclusion: Gallbladder lesion history, Nevin staging and the surgical approach are independent prognostic factors for gallbladder carcinoma, a rapidly fatal disease. Therefore, early diagnosis, anti-infective therapy and radical surgery are greatly needed to improve the prognosis of gallbladder carcinoma.

        Effect of High Energy Shot Peening on the Microstructure and Mechanical Property of AZ31B Mg Alloy/HSLA350 Steel Lap Joints

        When using high energy shot peening (HESP) technology, the surface layer of the welded joints produced grain breakage and residual compressive stress. When the shot peening strength is the optimal parameter 0.10 MPa, the residual compressive stress reaches a maximum value of 74.02 MPa, dislocation density in welded joints increased significantly and the tensile shear strength of the joint was increased by 18.6% compared to the joint without HESP treatment (205 MPa), and the fracture position of the welded joint was located in the Al alloy base material, these were brought by fi ne grain strengthening and strain strengthening. When the shot peening strength was 0.05 MPa, the strength of the joint was also improved, but the fracture position of the joint was the same as that without HESP treatment, and they were all in the fusion zone. However, when the shot peening strength was further increased to 0.15 MPa, severe cracks appeared inside the joint, which deteriorates the strength of the Mg/steel joint.

        Icariside II Promotes the Differentiation of Adipose Tissue-Derived Stem Cells to Schwann Cells to Preserve Erectile Function after Cavernous Nerve Injury

        Icariside II (ICA II) is used in erectile dysfunction treatment. Adipose tissue-derived stem cells (ADSCs) are efficient at improving erectile function. This study aimed to explore the action mechanism of ADSCs in improving erectile function. ADSCs were isolated from the adipose tissues of rats. Cell proliferation was determined using the Cell Counting Kit-8 (CCK-8) assay. The expressions of mRNA and protein were determined separately through qRT-PCR and western blot. The endogenous expressions of related genes were regulated using recombinant plasmids and cell transfection. A Dual-Luciferase Reporter Assay was performed to determine the interaction between miR-34a and STAT3. Rat models with bilateral cavernous nerve injuries (BCNIs) were used to assess erectile function through the detection of mean arterial pressure (MAP) and intracavernosal pressure (ICP). ICA II promoted ADSCs’ proliferation and differentiation to Schwann cells (SCs) through the inhibition of miR-34a. Suppressed miR-34a promoted the differentiation of ADSCs to SCs by up-regulating STAT3. ICA II promoted the differentiation of ADSCs to SCs through the miR-34a/STAT3 pathway. The combination of ICA II and ADSCs preserved the erectile function of the BCNI model rats. ADSCs treated with ICA II markedly preserved the erectile function of the BCNI model rats, which was reversed through miR-34a overexpression. ICA II pro-motes the differentiation of ADSCs to SCs through the miR-34a/STAT3 pathway, contributing to erectile function preservation after the occurrence of a cavernous nerve injury.

        Formation Mechanism and Control Measures of Sliding Surface about Bedding Slope Containing Weak Interlayer

        During the mining process of Hami open-pit coal mine, a large number of cracks appeared on the ground surface near the top of the end slope, which affected the stability of the slope and the subsequent safe mining of resources. By analyzing the deformation of rock stratum, the position of weak interlayer in the slope was determined. Considering the rock mass with weak interlayer as a complete mechanical system, the mechanical model of the rock mass system with weak interlayer was established, and the evaluation index of rock failure degree before slope instability was proposed. The failure mode of slope with weak interlayer is as follows: sliding failure-cutting layer failure-tension failure. The safety factor of slope decreases first and then increases with the increase of the depth of the weak interlayer, and gradually decreases with the increase of the inclination of the weak interlayer. The pressing foot of slope can be used in landslide control of slope with weak interlayers, and the optimal pressing foot solution to ensure the safe mining of final slope coal resources was determined to be a pressing foot height of 35 m and pressing foot width of 20 m.

        Ab initio MRCI+Q Investigations of Spectroscopic Properties of Several Low-lying Electronic States of S2+ Cation

        The complete active space self-consist field method followed by the internally contracted multireference configuration interaction method has been used to compute the potential energy curves of X2Πg, a4Πu, A2Πu, b4Σ− g, and B2Σ− g states of S2 + cation with large correlation-consistent basis sets. Utilizing the potential energy curves computed with different basis sets, the spectroscopic parameters of these states were evaluated. Finally, the transition dipole moment and the Franck-Condon factors of the transition from A2Πu to X2Πg were evaluated. The radiative lifetime of A2Πu is calculated to be 887 ns, which is in good agreement with experimental value of 805 ± 10 ns.

        Trichodermamide A and Aspergillazine A, Two Cytotoxic Modified Dipeptides from a Marine-Derived Fungus Spicaria elegans

        Two known modified dipeptides, trichodermamide A (1) and aspergillazine A (2), were isolated from an ethyl acetate extract of the metabolite of a marine-derived fungus Spicaria elegans, and were found to have a weak cytotoxic effect on three cancer cell lines P388, A-549, and HL-60 agreed. To our knowledge, this is the first report on the isolation of compounds 1 and 2 from the fungus Spicaria elegans and their cytotoxic effect.
