        An Optimization Model for Low Carbon Oriented Modular Product Platform Planning (MP3)

        Consumers, industry, and government entities put more focus on the global warming. With this point in view, enterprises have started to take into account of the low carbon idea to develop products. Recently, lots of firms are using the Modular Product Platform Planning (MP3) between product generations for the rapid update of products with lesser production costs and time to market. Traditionally, MP3 mainly concerns on module sharing between product generations in modular planning, but pays no attention to the environmental concern which becomes an important design criterion due to the rising awareness of environmental protection. In this paper, an optimization model for low carbon oriented MP3 is presented. To support low carbon oriented MP3, this article proposed a probability approach to evaluate the scheme of modular planning for MP3. Meanwhile, a measurement method for low carbon performance of modular planning is provided. Then, an optimization model for low carbon oriented MP3 is formulated to determine the modular planning in pursuit of maximizing the low carbon performance of the product with controlling the implementation probability of MP3. Furthermore, an Adaptive Memetic Algorithm (AMA) is developed for solving the optimization problem. Finally, a case study is proposed to validate the effectiveness of the proposed approach.

        An Off-line Maximum Torque Control Strategy of Wound Rotor Synchronous Machine with Nonlinear Parameters

        Belt-driven Starter Generator (BSG) differs from other mild hybrid systems as the crankshaft of vehicle are not run off. Motor permits a low-cost method of adding mild hybrid capabilities such as start-stop, power assist, and mild levels of regenerative braking. Wound rotor synchronous motor (WRSM) could be adopted in BSG system for HEV e-Assisted application instead of the interior permanent magnet synchronous motor (IPMSM). In practice, adequate torque is indispensable for starter assist system, and energy conversion should be taken into account for the HEV or EV as well. Particularly, flux weakening control is possible to realize by adjusting both direct axis components of current and field current in WRSM. Accordingly, this paper present an off-line current acquisition algorithm that can reasonably combine the stator and field current to acquire the maximum torque, meanwhile the energy conversion is taken into consideration by losses. Besides, on account of inductance influence by non-uniform air gap around rotor, nonlinear inductances and armature flux linkage against current variation are proposed to guarantee the results closer to reality. A computer-aided method for proposed algorithm are present and results are given in form of the Lookup table (LUT). The experiment shows the validity of algorithm.

        Extraction of 2-chloroethanol from aqueous solutions by trioctylamine

        The trioctylamine (TOA) with kerosene as a diluent was used to separate 2-chloroethanol from aqueous hydrochloride acid solution. The stoichiometry of complex data was studied with infrared spectroscopic and the result shows that the ratio of 2-chloroethanol to amine in the complex was 1:2. The equilibrium constant was assumed to be 4.05 × 105. Effects of temperature, equilibrium pH, TOA concentration,organic phase to aqueous (O/A) phase ratio and contact time on extraction yield of 2-chloroethanol were investigated. The results show that extraction yield can reach 58.2% under the optimum conditions.

        The Associations of Family Functioning, General Well-Being, and Exercise with Mental Health among End-Stage Renal Disease Patients

        Objective This study aims to explore the relationships of family functioning, general well-being, and exercise with psychological distress. Furthermore, we investigated the special roles of general well-being and exercise on the association between family functioning and psychological distress. Methods Of 769 end-stage renal disease (ESRD) patients participated in the cross-sectional study which consisted of the 12-item General Health Questionnaire (GHQ-12), the Family APGAR Scales, and the General Well-Being Schedule. The collected data were analyzed using multiple linear regression analysis and path analysis. Results The prevalence of psychological distress was 72.3%. Family functioning, general well-being and exercise were associated factors of psychological distress (p<0.05). The indirect effect of family functioning on psychological distress was partially mediated by general well-being (Effect=-0.08, 95% CI=-0.11, -0.04). In addition, the effect of family functioning on general well-being was moderated by exercise (Index=-0.092, SE=0.033, 95% CI=-0.159, -0.029). Conclusion The prevalence of psychological distress among ESRD patients was high. Family functioning, general well-being and exercise were associated with psychological distress. Family functioning could affect psychological distress partially by affecting general wellbeing. Furthermore, exercise had a significant moderating effect on the relationship between family functioning and general well-being.

        Does Differentiated Key Audit Matter in Unqualified Audit Reports Indicate Increased Financial Misstatement Risk? Evidence from China

        This study examines whether differentiated disclosure of key audit matter (KAM) in China indicates a higher financial misstatement risk. Our empirical study demonstrates that financial statements with less boilerplate KAM are more likely to be subsequently restated than those with more boilerplate KAM. This association is only pronounced for smaller auditing firms in stronger legal environments. Additionally, auditors who report differentiated KAM are likely to disclose more risk‐related information. Moreover, clients are more likely to restate financial reports when the KAM relates to managers' subjective estimations.

        Silane coupling agent assisting dopamine‑functionalized biomass porous carbons for enhanced adsorption of organic acids: effects of acid–alkali activation on microstructure

        Biomass porous carbons derived from Laminaria japonica were prepared by KOH and H3PO4 activation methods, respectively. The results indicated that the chemical activation had an apparent effect on the molecular framework and space of materials. To enhance the selective adsorption for organic acids, biomass carbons were modified by dopamine combined with N-(2-aminoethyl)-3-aminopropyltrimethoxysilane. The SEM and BET results illustrated the effect of the chemical activation approach on the morphology and porous texture. The biomass porous carbon using KOH activation method had the highest surface area (up to 1558 m2/ g). Compared with unmodified materials, the modified materials showed higher adsorption capacity for organic acids (27.90 μg/mL for chlorogenic acid and 25.47 μg/mL for caffeic acid). It was suggested that modification of porous carbons might be a viable pathway to increase the specific adsorption affinity and efficiency for organic acids in dried jujube samples.

        Identification of differentially expressed miRNAs after Lactobacillus reuteri treatment in the ileum mucosa of piglets

        Background Lactobacillus reuteri I5007 possesses many excellent probiotic characteristics in piglets. miRNA plays importantrole in host-microbiota interactions, but the mechanism by which L. reuteri I5007 regulates intestinal function throughits influence on miRNA expression is unknown. Objective This study analyzed the miRNA expression patterns in the ileum mucosa tissue of piglets by L. reuteri I5007treatment, aim to clarify its molecular mechanism for regulating intestinal function through miRNA. Methods Neonatal piglets were orally administered L. reuteri I5007 or a placebo daily starting on day 1, and differentialexpression of ileal miRNAs was analyzed at 10 and 20 days of age by small RNA sequencing. Results 361 known porcine miRNAs were identified, and ten miRNAs were highly expressed in the ileum mucosa in bothtreatments. Nineteen differentially expressed (DE) miRNAs were identified in response to L. reuteri treatment, and four DEmiRNAs (ssc-miR-196a, -196b-5p, -1285 and -10386) were differentially expressed at both time points. The KEGG pathwayanalyses showed the targets of 19 DE miRNAs were involved in 63 significantly enriched pathways, including the PI3KAktand MAPK pathways, which were confirmed to play important roles in probiotic-host communication. L. reuteri I5007exerted anti-inflammatory effects by influencing the levels of inflammatory cytokines. Suppressor of cytokine signalling 4gene was the target gene of ssc-miR-196a/-196b-5p, overexpression of ssc-miR-196a/-196b-5p downregulated the mRNAexpression of IL-1β and TNFα in IPEC-J2 cells. Conclusion Our study provides new insight into the role of miRNAs in the intestinal function of piglets after L. reuteriI5007 treatment.

        Biosynthetic Pathway for Poly(3-Hydroxypropionate) in Recombinant Escherichia coli

        Poly(3-hydroxypropionate) (P3HP) is a biodegradable and biocompatible thermoplastic. In this study, we engineered a P3HP biosynthetic pathway in recombinant Escherichia coli. The genes for malonyl-CoA reductase (mcr, from Chloroflexus aurantiacus), propionyl-CoA synthetase (prpE, from E. coli), and polyhydroxyalkanoate synthase (phaC1, from Ralstonia eutropha) were cloned and expressed in E. coli. The E. coli genes accABCD encoding acetyl-CoA carboxylase were used to channel the carbon into the P3HP pathway. Using glucose as a sole carbon source, the cell yield and P3HP content were 1.32 g/L and 0.98% (wt/wt [cell dry weight]), respectively. Although the yield is relatively low,our study shows the feasibility of engineering a P3HP biosynthetic pathway using a structurally unrelated carbon source in bacteria.
