      • Research on Conflict Resolution and Consistency Maintenance Supporting Intention Combination in Real-time Collaboration Environment

        With the real-time group editing system, a group of users can view and edit the shared document by communication networks anytime and anywhere. Under the circumstance, it is surely inevitable that many operations from different users are going to conflict. Thus, two issues, the conflict resolution and the consistency maintenance, are the most important for designing and completing the system. In the past, the address space transformation algorithm, invented from the research about the real-time text editing system, could maintain consistency among more sites. The Multi Version conflict resolution approach could preserve users’ intentions but not all when conflicts occur. This paper proposes a new solution of conflict resolution, named Intention Combination Conflict Resolution strategy with the document model of AST based on the idea of Multi Version approach. This solution can not only preserve all users’ editing consistency by intention combination, but also keep all versions of operational objects including conflict operations’ combination effects. In addition, the effectiveness of related algorithms is analyzed, and the availability of the strategy is described by a case and proved by our experiment.

        Effects of annealing holding time on capacitance performance of RuO2–IrO2–graphene/Ti electrodes

        The thermal decomposition method was used to prepare composite electrodes of the Ruthenium oxide–Iridium oxide–Graphene (RuO2–IrO2–G). Scanning Electron Microscopy (SEM), X–ray diffraction analysis (XRD), and electrochemical tests were used to study the influence of different annealing holding time on the surface morphology, phase composition, and capacitive performance of the coatings. The results showed that more and more RuO2, IrO2 nanoparticles were observed on the surface and cracks of the coating as the annealing holding time increasing. The RuO2–IrO2–G/Ti electrode was obtained by annealing for 5 h. The coating of the electrode consists of a certain amount of amorphous phase and nano–crystalline phase, and it had good electronic conductivity and ionic conductivity. At the same time, the electrode was prepared at 5 h had the largest specific capacitance of 778.46 F/g, which increased by 430.89 F/g than the electrode was prepared at 1 h. In addition, the electrode also had superior capacitance performance, capacitance retention and power characteristics.

        Diagnostic Stability in Psychiatric Patients From Hospital Admission to Discharge: A 10-Year Retrospective Study

        Objective This study aimed to evaluate the consistency or stability of mental disorders diagnosed in the psychiatry ward setting, investigate factors associated with consistency, and observe the disease distribution over the decade.Methods A total of 20,359 psychiatric inpatients were included in this retrospective study from June 2011 to December 2020. Diagnoses from the first admission to discharge were evaluated to determine the diagnostic consistency during hospitalization. Readmissions were selected as the subgroup, whose first and last discharge diagnoses were compared to analyze the relatively long-term diagnostic stability. Demographic and clinical characteristics were collected to identify predictors of diagnostic discrepancy.Results From 2011–2020, the hospitalization rate decreased from 42.7% to 20.7% for schizophrenia and grew from 13.3% to 23.8% for depression. Diagnoses were retained by 92.6% of patients at their first discharge diagnosis, ranging from 100% for disorders of psychological development to 16.3% for unspecified mental disorders. About 33.9% of diagnostic conversions were to bipolar disorder in patients having inconsistent diagnoses. However, among rehospitalizations, the diagnostic stability notably dropped to 71.3%. For rehospitalizations, mood disorders and schizophrenia spectrum disorders were relatively stable diagnoses categories, with 72.6% to 76.7% of patients receiving the same diagnosis, although results of specified diagnoses within these categories ranged from 5.9% to 91.0%. Except for mood disorders and schizophrenia spectrum disorders, the diagnoses of all other categories were below 70%. Long lengths of hospitalization and old age were associated with short-term diagnosis alterations.Conclusion Longitudinal follow-up and integration of multiple aspects of information are essential for accurate diagnosis.

        Melatonin stimulates aromatase expression and estradiol production in human granulosa-lutein cells: relevance for the high serum estradiol levels in ovarian hyperstimulation syndrome

        Ovarian hyperstimulation syndrome (OHSS) is one of the most life-threatening and potentially fatal complications associated with controlled ovarian hyperstimulation (COH) during in vitro fertilization (IVF) treatment. Although the pathogenesis of OHSS remains unclear, elevated serum estradiol (E2) levels before human chorionic gonadotropin (hCG) administration are associated with the risk of OHSS. The pineal hormone melatonin and its receptors are expressed in human granulosa cells and have been shown to stimulate E2 production. However, the effect of melatonin on the expression of aromatase, an enzyme responsible for a key step in the biosynthesis of E2, in human granulosa cells remains to be determined. Here, we demonstrate that melatonin upregulates aromatase expression in primary cultured human granulosa-lutein (hGL) cells through the melatonin receptor-mediated PKA-CREB pathway. Using a mouse model of OHSS, we demonstrate that administration of the melatonin receptor inhibitor luzindole inhibits the development of OHSS. In addition, the expression of ovarian aromatase and serum E2 levels are upregulated in OHSS mice compared to control mice, but this upregulation is attenuated by inhibition of the function of melatonin. Moreover, clinical results reveal that aromatase expression levels are upregulated in hGL cells from OHSS patients. Melatonin and E2 levels in the follicular fluid are significantly higher in OHSS patients than in non-OHSS patients. Furthermore, melatonin levels are positively correlated with E2 levels in follicular fluid. This study helps to elucidate the mechanisms mediating the expression of aromatase in hGL cells and provides a potential mechanism explaining the high E2 levels in patients with OHSS.
