Read stability and write ability, or SNM (static noise margin) in total, of a SRAM cell is the effective tool to determine the practicability of the cell. Leakage current, read speed and read stability are few of the constrained parameters desired for any practical SRAM cell. The aim of this paper is to analyze the read behaviour of the multiple SRAM cell structures using cadence tool at 45nm technology and to compare the cells for read operation while keeping the read and write access time and the supply voltage as low as possible. In particular, the leakage currents, leakage power and read behaviour of each SRAM cells are examined . A 10T SRAM cell implementation is proposed here that results in reduced leakage power and leakage current, at the same time with increased read stability in comparision with the conventional 6T SRAM cell as well as 7T, 8T and 9T SRAM cells. As a result, the 10T SRAM always consumes lowest leakage power and leakage current; improve read stability as compared to the 6T, 7T, 8T and 9T SRAM cells. This paper is aimed to reduce the leakage power, leakage current and improve the read behaviour of the different SRAM cell structures using cadence tool at 45nm technology while keeping the read and write access time and the power as low as possible.

Every closed subset of a compact topological space is compact. Also every compact subset of a Hausdorff topological space is closed. It follows that compact subsets are precisely the closed subsets in a compact Hausdorff space. It is also proved that a topological space is maximal compact if and only if its compact subsets are precisely the closed subsets. A locale is a categorical extension of topological spaces and a frame is an object in its opposite category. We investigate to find whether the closed sublocales are exactly the compact sublocales of a compact Hausdorff frame. We also try to investigate whether the closed sublocales are exactly the compact sublocales of a maximal compact frame.

Extracellular β-glucosidase was produced using coffee pulp as a sole carbon source by Penicillium verrucosum by solid state fermentation and 897.36±59 U/g enzyme activity was obtained. Increase in 2.21-fold of enzyme activity on optimizing the bioprocess parameters by response surface methodology based on central composite rotatable design is illustrated. Maximum production level of 1,991.17 U/g was obtained with optimum values of pH 4.2, moisture 66.8%, and fermentation duration of 56 h. The enzyme was partially purified and the enzyme activity was optimum at 50oC temperature and at pH 6. The metal ions such as Mg2+, Zn2+, Ca2+, K+, detergents, and chelator such as EDTA were effective and further increased the β-glucosidase activity. On application of β-glucosidase for simultaneous saccharifiation and fermentation, 3.3% ethanol was obtained. Thus, this study provides insight on exploitation of P. verrucosum for synthesis of of β-glucosidase using coffee pulp which is available abundantly in coffee processing industries.
COMPARISON OF DISCRETE TIME INVENTORY SYSTEMS WITH POSITIVE SERVICE TIME AND LEAD TIME

This paper investigates two discrete time queueing inventory models with positive service time and lead time. Customers arrive according to a Bernoulli process and service time and lead time follow geometric distributions. The first model under discussion based on replenishment of order upto S policy where as the second model is based on order placement by a fixed quantity Q, where Q = S - s, whenever the inventory level falls to s. We analyse this queueing systems using the matrix geometric method and derive an explicit expression for the stability condition. We obtain the steady-state behaviour of these systems and several system performance measures. The influence of various parameters on the systems performance measures and comparison on the cost analysis are also discussed through numerical example.
Inhibition of Skin Irritant Reaction by (-)-Epigallocatechin-3-gallate

Background and Objectives: (-)-Epigallocatechin-3-gallate (EGCG), one of the major constituents of green tea, is known to possess the chemopreventive effects against chemical- and UV-induced skin damage. The aim of this study was to examine the in vivo effects of EGCG on skin irritant reaction. Materials and Methods: To analyze the effects of EGCG on skin irritant reaction, the ear punch disc (8 ㎜ diameter) weights were determined after 4 hr of treatment to assess the extent of edema. Total RNA was isolated and analyzed the expression of interleukin- 1β (IL-1β) mRNA by reverse transcriptase-polymerase chain reaction. Results: In the ear skin of BALB/c mouse, Pretreatment with EGCG reduced edema and water accumulation caused by 1-chloro-2,4-dinitrobenzene (DNCB), a well known skin allergen. DNCB-induced mRNA expression of proinflammatory cytokine, IL-1β, was inhibited by pretreatment of EGCG. Conclusion: Collectively, these results suggest that EGCG reduces the DNCB-induced skin irritant reaction, and the inhibition of IL-1β mRNA expression can be one of the possible mechanisms.
