      • The Strategic Design about the Culture, the Driving Force of Tourism Industry

        Culture is a major pivotal for sustainable tourism in any national economy. Every economy of the World is characterized by cultural ethics that revolves around traditions at various geographical locations. Ethics, traditions, culture, language are values that constitutes components of tourism factors that gives relevance to human existence within their place of aboard on planet earth. There are benefits of tourism values attributable to these cultural phenomenon socially, economically and environmentally as the case may be. Cultural tourism offers palliative in an ailing economy to the citizens by the creation of employment to the unemployed graduates from educational institutions, providing entrepreneurial openings for individuals to learn craft trades emanating from culture. Effective management of cultural values in the sole responsibility of the human resources positioned at various establishment by the utilization of experience, professional institutes making use of appropriate strategies to achieve determined goals. Stake holders at both the government (public) and private sector ensures this positioning. This research paper explores how cultural tourism create employment in cultural economy that is challenged by global economic meltdown; how life can be comfortable for the citizens and discomfort and difficulties reduced to the barest minimum including poverty and penury. Various cultural tourism establishments are considered in this paper statistical findings were carried out by oral interview of respondents in selected areas. Conclusions were drawn and recommendations made.

        Sustainable tourism is very vital in influencing the development of any economy universally. Tourism sector of the economy seldom constitute an integral part of the nation with an impact on the environment. Tourism is a pivot to wealth creation with a cognizance to the carrying capacity of visitors in various designated tourism, characteristic components of tourism sustainable, relativity of element of economic elements with sustainability, carrying capacity at various levels, tourism development and sustainability, the involvement of the private and public sector in the economy etc. The objectives of the research paper were analysed; methodology applied briefly explained; relevant conclusion were drawn. The methodology used in the research paper include questionnaire applied to respondents in the selected field of study.

      • The Significance of Education and Training to High Performance of Employees in the Tourism and Hospitality Industry

        The quality of employee in the work place is very vital in the determinance of performance and the development of the tourism and hospitality establishments. The research paper explore education and training taking cognizance of relevant concept responsible including training for skill acquisition in the tourism and hospitality sector of a national economy. The investigation covered an assessment of 10 top graduate competencies across five studies of selected location. The study consists of context of development vis-à-vis education and training with emphasis on macro and micro levels associate providers and ancillary measurements costs and methods etc. Investigations were carried out on relevant models for the research the study investigated on development as part of the contributors of tourism and hospitality growth. Personal interviewing of respondents were conducted in the relevant field of study and questionnaires administered to source information for the research work. Textbooks and journals were used to source information. Statistical analyses were carried out to assess the completed questionnaire retrieved from the field. Conclusions were drawn on the study and recommendation made for the use of academics professional and other interested stakeholders in the field of tourism and hospitality

      • The Impact of Eco Tourism, Cultural Tourism and Recreational Services as a Tool for Poverty Alleviation in Developing Countries

        Developing countries of the world depended on the economic and technological support of the Western World i.e. United States of America, Unites kingdom, Europe, the Scandinavian countries for several decades before the industrial revolution took place close to the 16th century. With the technological revolution that took place after this period there were lots of development that witnessed economic boom. The developing countries referred to as the under developed third world now started benefiting from the economical and technological wealth of these developed countries. Eco tourism started developing with growth in the natural resources through ecological potentials, wildlife, biodiversity, ecosystem evolution dependent on the natural resources that are located in these third world countries like Nigeria, China, Kenya, South Africa, Caribbean, Jamaica e.t.c. Movement of people (humans) started from one geo-political location to the other across the globe. Wildlife, parks and game reserves were developed including designated protected areas for natural habitats e.t.c, Cultural tourism was developed upon to bring to memory various traditional and cultural heritage that characterized the historical background of most natives with their ethnic values. Recreation services witnessed a tremendous growth because of its health and social benefits made available for tourists on various visits. There were adequate provision of sporting, and hospitality services at various games villages, recreational sport centers etc. Job opportunities were made available at the grassroot levels. This research paper addresses the various factors mentioned earlier in-depth and compared the benefit from each one. The economic and social gains were discussed including the area of poverty alleviation to provide job opportunities for the unemployed. 100 Questionnaire were given out to the respondents in the field to assess situations. Relevant statistical analyses were carried out. Findings were made, followed up by relevant suggestions on contribution to knowledge; recommendations were discussed.
