In cooperative diversity of ad hoc networks, the selection of the path pair becomes very important to achieve optimum performance. In this paper, it was created the cooperative diversity protocol by using Pareto method for multi objective criteria problems namely the signal to noise ratio (SNR) and load variance. Pareto method was used to find a non-dominated solution by way of Continuously Updated. The non-dominated solution was chosen based on the smallest euclidean distance. The advantage of this protocol is to provide fair and the best path pairs of cooperative diversity. From the simulation results, it was obtained the path pairs for cooperative diversity is path S-11-D and S-28-D selected by the smallest value of euclidean distance that is 0.108 and 0.379. Furthermore, the reliability of protocol with Pareto method was compared with

Developing children’s character must start from an early age. As children consider playing games a pleasant activity, exposing them to traditional games that involve cultural wisdom is an effective way to instill ethical norms and moral values in them. In Bali, many traditional games, such as Petaumpet and Tajog, require the children to be disciplined, cooperative, obedient and act honestly. Behaving in such a manner while playing can be an effective strategy for the character development of children. I Durma is one of the folklores that has been developed in the form of ICT-based game. This type of challenge game has an impact on the player’s emotions. This study explains the relationship between game-factor, emotion, and character variables of game players. All three variables were obtained through questionnaire integrated in the game. The data obtained were analyzed using the neuro-fuzzy and backpropagation methods. The analysis result shows that there was a relationship between game-factor, emotional, and character variables. This is indicated by the output values of the neuro-fuzzy analysis. It was obtained that: training analysis (40:93:41), testing analysis (42:0 2:64), and checking analysis (42:4 2:75) with the difference between them (Δμ < 5%) of 50 max scores. In other words, characters can be predicted from game-factor and players’ emotion. The findings of this study can enable teachers to help students or users choose right games and control their emotions while playing as these can affect the character development of the children. We also show that children who were involved in playing the game responded positively to the game based on Balinese local wisdom.

Objectives: The aim of this study is to demonstrate how an integrated information system of mother and toddler cohorts can be developed as a basis of the continuum of care approach that subsequently can be used as the basis of early detection of risk factors of maternal mortality. Methods: This research was carried out qualitatively. The data was collected through three techniques: in-depth interviews, focus group discussion, and document studies at six public health centers located in four sub-districts of Surabaya, Indonesia. This research was conducted from 2016 to 2018. Results: The data collected from this research has become a basis input data requirement analysis for an integrated mother and toddler cohort information system. The system accommodates all the variables in each period of pre-marriage, pregnancy, labor, infancy and toddlerhood. The system facilitates healthcare workers to retrieve data and information related to mother and toddler health status. Conclusions: The availability of various pieces of information enables the health status of mothers and toddlers to be monitored thoroughly throughout their long-life cycle. This continuum of care approach is beneficial in the early detection and management of risk factors of maternal mortality, such as pregnancy complications as well as childbirth and postpartum complications.
Effect of Tree Age and Active Alkali on Kraft Pulping of White Jabon

White Jabon (Anthocephalus cadamba Miq.) is one of the fast growing species in Indonesia and has the potential as the raw material for pulp and paper. In this research, 3, 5, and 7 years old White Jabon woods were pulped under different active alkali charge of 15%, 18%, 21%, 24%, and 27%, and its effect on delignification degree, kappa number, pulp yield, pulp viscosity, brightness, unbeaten freeness, and delignification selectivity was investigated. The results showed that tree age and active alkali concentration influenced the quality of pulp and pulping properties, except for that of unbeaten freeness. Delignification degree increased with increasing active alkali charge, and this brought about the decrease of pulp kappa number. The pulping yield tended to decrease below the Klason lignin of approximately 4%. Even though the 3 years old wood resulted in the highest brightness and highest delignification selectivity, the highest pulp viscosity was obtained with the 5 years old wood. The dominant fiber length of all wood ages was in the range of 1.2 - 2.0 mm. The 3 years old wood was considered to be the most promising raw material for kraft pulping in the view point of pulping properties, pulp quality and harvesting rotation.

Oil palm trunk (OPT) is a potential source of biomass for the production of biopellet. In the present research, biopellet were prepared from the meristem part of 25 years old OPT with various percentages of its bark (0, 10, and 30%). The highest biopellet durability was found for biopellet produced at 130℃ of pelletizing temper-ature with 30% bark content. Scanning electron microscopy (SEM) of biopellet showed the weak of particle bonding due to the low pelletizing pressure. The moisture content, unit density, ash content, and caloric value of OPT-based pellets were 3.55-5.35%, 525.56-855.23 kg/m3, 2.76-3.44%, and 17.89-19.14 MJ/kg, respectively. The combustion profiles obtained by thermogravimetric analysis (TGA) seemed to be unaffected by the bark content on. Differential thermal analysis of TGA curve indicated different pyrolysis characteristic of hemi-cellulose, cellulose, and lignin.
Green Employee Empowerment? Driving and Inhibiting Factors for Green Employee Performance
Nyoman Rasmen ADI,Made MULYADI,Made SETINI,Nengah Dasi ASTAWA 한국유통과학회 2021 The Journal of Asian Finance, Economics and Busine Vol.8 No.5
Being able to survive during the Covid19 pandemic is a big task for a company, as such, empowerment of employees is a must. The sample in this study was 300 employees who worked in Spas throughout Bali. The sampling technique was purposive sampling. Data analysis was using SEM and SMARTS as data processing. The results showed that green communication, namely communication that occurs between employees, superiors, and the environment, has a very good influence on the sustainability of employee performance. To become green management, a green organizational commitment that cares about the safety of employee health and the environment is an important factor as motivation in green dedication or positive employee productivity, but communication between work actors and justice is also a motivating factor. Work safety and job security for employees empower employees (which is a green line), especia

Rabies is a major fatal zoonotic disease in Indonesia. This study was conducted to determine the recent dynamics of rabies virus (RABV) in various areas and animal species throughout Indonesia. A total of 27 brain samples collected from rabid animals of various species in Bali, Sumatra, Kalimantan, Sulawesi, Java, and Flores in 2008 to 2010 were investigated. The cDNA of the nucleoprotein gene from each sample was generated and amplified by one-step reverse transcription-PCR, after which the products were sequenced and analyzed. The symmetric substitution model of a Bayesian stochastic search variable selection extension of the discrete phylogeographic model of the social network was applied in BEAST ver. 1.7.5 software. The spatial dispersal was visualized in Cartographica using Spatial Phylogenetic Reconstruction of Evolutionary Dynamics. We demonstrated inter-island introduction and reintroduction, and dog was found to be the only source of infection of other animals. Ancestors of Indonesian RABVs originated in Java and its descendants were transmitted to Kalimantan, then further to Sumatra, Flores, and Bali. The Flores descendent was subsequently transmitted to Sulawesi and back to Kalimantan. The viruses found in various animal species were transmitted by the dog.
