Biology of Menochilus sexmaculatus Fab. and Coccinella undecimpunctata L. on alfalfa aphid Therioaphis trifolii Monell were investigated during winter season at Tando Jam, Sindh, Pakistan. The latent period of M. sexmaculatus was 31.7$\pm$0.3 and C. undecimpunctata 6.7$\pm$0.1 seconds. Duration of copulation in M. sexmaculatus and C. undecimpunctata were 81.8$\pm$5.4 and 64.5$\pm$6.1 minutes. The oviposition and post-oviposition period of M. sexmaculatus, were 27.4$\pm$4.1 and 4.5$\pm$0.3 days and C. undecimpunctata, were 19.9$\pm$5.2 and 3.8$\pm$0.4 days. Fecundity per female was observed 602$\pm$75.3 for M. sexmaculatus and 761$\pm$85.2 for C. undecimpunctata. The mean egg periods of M. sexmaculatus and C. undecimpunctata were 8.6$\pm$1.2 and 7.3$\pm$1.0 days. Larval duration for first, second, third and fourth instars of M. sexmaculatus were 7.3$\pm$0.6, 4.3$\pm$0.2, 3.8$\pm$0.3 and 6.7$\pm$1.1 days. The pupal period of M. sexmaculatus was 3.6$\pm$0.3 and C. undecimpunctata was 5.1$\pm$0.5 days. The adult period of M. sexmaculatus, (female and male) under this study was 34.9$\pm$4.8 and 29.7$\pm$1.2 days.

Tenant - Vendor and Third-Party Agreements for the Cloud: Considerations for Security Provision
Lubna Luxmi Dhirani,Thomas Newe,Shahzad Nizamani 보안공학연구지원센터 2016 International Journal of Software Engineering and Vol.10 No.12
Cloud Computing has an expanding future in both business and Information Technology. With the expanding hybrid cloud model offering better services and convenience there are also a number of security problems associated with cloud standardization, multi-tenancy third party privity/sub-contracting, data-controller, outages, availability, monitoring and the service level agreements. This paper focuses on Hybrid Cloud Computing security in the context of a Tenant-Vendor-Third-Party environment and service level agreements. Limitations, opportunities and suggestions to mitigate the security risks are discussed and summarized.
Non-linear dynamic assessment of low-rise RC building model under sequential ground motions
Syed Muhammad Bilal Haider,Zafarullah Nizamani,Chun Chieh Yip 국제구조공학회 2020 Structural Engineering and Mechanics, An Int'l Jou Vol.74 No.6
Multiple earthquakes that occur during short seismic intervals affect the inelastic behavior of the structures. Sequential ground motions against the single earthquake event cause the building structure to face loss in stiffness and its strength. Although, numerous research studies had been conducted in this research area but still significant limitations exist such as: 1) use of traditional design procedure which usually considers single seismic excitation; 2) selecting a seismic excitation data based on earthquake events occurred at another place and time. Therefore, it is important to study the effects of successive ground motions on the framed structures. The objective of this study is to overcome the aforementioned limitations through testing a two storey RC building structural model scaled down to 1/10 ratio through a similitude relation. The scaled model is examined using a shaking table. Thereafter, the experimental model results are validated with simulated results using ETABS software. The test framed specimen is subjected to sequential five artificial and four real-time earthquake motions. Dynamic response history analysis has been conducted to investigate the i) observed response and crack pattern; ii) maximum displacement; iii) residual displacement; iv) Interstorey drift ratio and damage limitation. The results of the study conclude that the low-rise building model has ability to resist successive artificial ground motion from its strength. Sequential artificial ground motions cause the framed structure to displace each storey twice in correlation with vary first artificial seismic vibration. The displacement parameters showed that real-time successive ground motions have a limited impact on the low-rise reinforced concrete model. The finding shows that traditional seismic design EC8 requires to reconsider the traditional design procedure.
Investigation of Spudcan Penetration Resistance in Layered Soil Deposits
Muhammad Asad Jan,Zubair Ahmed Nizamani,Duhee Park 한국지반환경공학회 2021 한국지반환경공학회논문집 Vol.22 No.1
A suite of 3D large deformation finite element (FE) analyses was performed to investigate the load transfer mechanism and penetration resistance of spudcan foundations in heterogeneous soil profile consisting of sand and clay. The Elasto-Plastic models following Mohr-Coulomb and Tresca failure criteria were adopted for sand and clay, respectively. The accuracy of the numerical model was validated against centrifuge test measurements. The dense sand behavior with dilation is modeled using the non-associated flow rule. An investigation study consisting of key parameters, which includes variation in soil stratigraphy (sand-clay, sand-clay-sand), strength parameters of sand and clay (ϕ ′ and su) and normalized height ratio of the sand layer (Hs/D) was conducted to assess the penetration behavior of spudcan. Based on calculated outputs, it was demonstrated that these parameters have a significant influence on the penetration resistance of spudcan. The calculated penetration resistance profiles are compared with the published (sand overlying clay) analytical model. It is confirmed that for the case of two-layer soil, the available theoretical model provides an accurate estimate of peak penetration resistance (qpeak). In the case of three-layer soil, the presence of a third stiff layer affects the penetration resistance profile due to the squeezing of the soil.

E-Commerce is a buzzword well known for electronic commerce activities including but not limited to the online shopping, digital payment transactions, and B2B online trading. In today's digital age, e-commerce has been playing a very important and vital role in areas such as retail shopping, sales automation, supply chain management, marketing and advertisement, and payment services. With a huge amount of data been collected from various e-commerce services available, there are multiple opportunities to use that data to analyze graphs and trends. Strategize profitable activities, and forecast future trade. This paper explains a contemporary approach for collecting key data metrics and implementing cost-effective automation that will support in improving conversion rates and sales performance of the e-commerce websites resulting in increased profitability.
