Transient conduction phenomena of ZnO varistors were investigated through two methods. One is the experiment and another is the computer simulation with the theory of conduction mechanism such as "Role of the hole diffusion current on the conduction mechanism in ZnO varistors". From these results, we found that the delay times of ZnO varistors are strongly affected by the electron hole generation rate in reverse biased Schottky barrier. Therefore, it is necessary to increase the electron hole generation rate for the enhancement of the response time in ZnO varistors.

Recently, as we see the trend of using aggregate, is widespread, that is using crushed stone as a coarse aggregate, and using sea sand as a substitute for fine aggregate. In this study, we used mixed sand (river sand : sea sand = 1:1), we changed W/C, and the amount of antiwashout underwater admixture, and the superplasticizer. We produced and cured in the air and salt water, we investigated the compressive strength, tensile strength, flexural strength of the specimens. In our results, the basis of slump flow was satisfied, pH and suspension were under the standard amount. The most effective use of antiwashout underwater admixture in quantity was 1.0%, and the rate of tensile strength and flexural strength to the compressive strength increases as the W/C increases.
경화된 수중 비분리 콘크리트의 특성에 대한 기초적 연구

In general, the setting and hardening time of antiwashout underwater concrete in comparison with general concrete is seriously delated. Accordingly, the objective of this study is to compare the unit weights and compressive strength of antiwashout underwater concrete cured in fresh water, salt water(15℃)for 7 days,28 days, and 91 days respectively. In this study, the mixing design of antiwashout underwater concrete was performed with the admixtures(antiwashout underwater agent, superplasticizer) of 7 companies to be easily obtained in domestiv area. From the experiment results, plastivity of antiwashout underwater concrete placed by self leveling was considerably good, and unit weight of it was 2.285㎏/㎥ which is lighter than general concrete, Second, In ontrast with general concrete, com-pressive strength of antiwashout underwater concrete had steadily increased for 91days Finally, compressive strength of antiwashout underwater concrets was about 0.74∼0.77 of plain concrete and compressive strength of antiwashout underwater concrete cured in salt water was about 0.81∼0.84 of that in fresh water.

This paper presents a new voltage down converter (VDC) using charge and discharge current adjustment circuitry that provides High frequency Application. This VDC consist of a common driving circuit and compensation circuits : 3 sensors and each driving transistors for controlling gate current of driving transistor. This is designed with a 0.65㎛ Nwell CMOS technology. In HSPICE simulation results. Internal Voltage is bounded (+4.25%, -2.99%) in proposed circuitry. That is forth faster than common driving circuit. Total current dissipation is 62.866㎂ and Total power consumption is 15.7㎽.

電子文書交換(EDI) 시스템이 정보사회의 도래와 더불어 戰略經營의 핵심수단으로 등장함에 따라 우리나라에서도 EDI에 관한 學問的 관심이 최근에 고조되고 있다. 그럼에도 불구하고 EDI에 관한 國內의 先行硏究는 일천할 뿐더러 연구의 量과 質에 있어서도 매우 미미하다. 따라서 EDI가 기업의 戰略經營 成果에 구체적으로 어떤 影響을 미치고 있는가를 심층적으로 분석할 必要性이 크게 대두되고 있다. 이와 같은 硏究의 必要性에 따라 本考에서는 情報技術(IT)과 成果(performance) 分析에 관련된 최근의 선행연구를 綜合的·包括的으로 정리하였으며, 이들 선행연구들이 成果 分析에 사용한 구체적인 測定方法을 제시하고 있다.

The purpose of this study is to develop marketing strategy for enhancing channel structure of steel products in Korea. Channel structure can be defined as the mechanism efficiently and effectively transferring products to users by manufacturers. Also, channel structure can be said to be enhanced when tasks of channel members are ideally allocated within the channel structure. To tackle this issue, related literatures are reviewed, relevant hypotheses are composed, a comprehensive model is developed to test these hypotheses, and collected data are analyzed using LISREL program. The results are: (1) Opportunism has a negative effect on govermance structure, (2) Uncertainty has a positive effect on govenance structure, (3) The five relational governance elements influence positively on governance structure. Based on these results, some marketing strategies are suggested.

This study examined the information effect of open market stock repurchase program on stock price in Korean Stock Exchange. The sample period is from 1996 to 2000. The result confirms that the information effect exists and is positive in KSE like NYSE. The anomalous phenomenon is found that even after stock repurchase announcement, the abnormal returns still exist for the long time. This means that the repurcase announcement informs the market of the underpricing of current stock and the stock repurchase program is used as a tool to increase the stock price. Such being the case, the cause of information effect of stock repurchase was explored. Our study shows that the firms with the high level of cash flows, the high portion of large shreholders and the high target repurchase ratios have the higher repurchase effect but the ex-ante profit forecastes have no effect on the stock repurchase program. Finally this study finds that the repurchase program is used to control the underpriced stock price, and also the wealth of shareholders is enlarged by the productivity of shareholders through the repurchase program.

Lead poisoning is still prevalent and one of important occupational disease in Korea. To prevent undue high lead burden and maintain good health condition of lead workers in lead using industries, periodic health examination and regular biological monitoring of lead workers are often required in addition to the fundamental improvement of their working condition. To evaluate the effect of comprehensive occupational health program with regular biological monitoring on the level of lead exposure of lead workers in lead using industries, 11 year database from 1983 to 1994 of one storage battery factory was reviewed. From 1983 to end of 1986 only periodic health examination was provided to the lead workers, but from 1987 comprehensive occupational health program with regular biological monitoring was provided to maintain better health condition of lead workers. Selected study variables for lead exposure were blood lead(PbB), zinc protoporphyrin in blood(ZPP), δ-aminolevulinic acid in urine(ALAU), hemoglobin(Hb), hematocrit(HCT). Information on sex, age and work duration was also reviewed. 5 years data from 1983 to 1987 and 3 years data from 1990, 1993 and 1994 were available for all lead exposure indices except ALAU which has only 5 years data from 1983 to 1997. The results of 11 years longitudinal observation of lead indices are all follows: 1. The mean value of ZPP of lead workers in 1983 was 148.7±73.1 ㎍/㎗(Male: 145.5±72.3, Female: 168.1±79.1), whereas that of ZPP of lead workers in 1994 was decreased to 64.3±32.7 ㎍/㎗(Male: 60.2±28.8, Female: 95.2±43.4). 2. The mean value of PbB of lead workers in 1983 was 56.4±18.8 ㎍/㎗(Male: 55.59±19.1, Female: 59.6±19.1), whereas that of PbB of lead workers in 1994 was dcreased to 35.4±11.9 ㎍/㎗(Male: 35.7±12.0, Female: 32.8±10.8). 3. The mean value of Hb of lead workers in 1983 was 14.1±1.4 g/㎗(Male: 14.4±1.1, Female: 11.7±0.8), whereas that of Hb of lead workers in 1994 was increased to 15.6±1.5 g/㎗(Male: 15.9±1.2, Female: 12.9±1.1). 4. Blood lead is most highly correlated with ZPP(r=0.522, male:0.54 and female:0.50) and also correlated with ALAU and work duration also. 5. The simple regression analysis of PbB and ZPP showed different coefficient of regression by the measurement year, but there was no difference of coefficient of regression between sex. The slope of equation of pooled data for 1983-1986 without comprehensive occupational health program was 2.16 and differed from that of pooled data for 1987-1994(1.25). This difference suggests that the unit effect of blood lead on ZPP was relatively smaller in later period of comprehensive occupational health program than carly period without comprehensive program. The slope change in the analysis of linear regression of PbB on ZPP in lead workers can be used to evaluate the possible effect of health intervention to prevent undue high lead absorption in lead using industries. 6. 11 years occupational health service in this storage battery factory brought out considerable improvement of health status of lead workers in terms of decrease of PbB and ZPP and increase of Hb and the improvement was more remarkable after the introduction of comprehensive occupational health program.
Callus distraction method를 이용한 하악골 신장술 : 계단골절단술식의 적용

Since callus distraction technique was applied clinically for the correction of dentofacial deformity to the patients with hemifacial dysplasia by McCarthy in 1992, many surgeons have tried to apply this method to the maxillofacial region. But this technique has some drawbacks. One of the disadvantages of this technique is extensive scar formation in the facial area, which is a sequelae of extraoral approach for supraperiosteal dissection of the periosteum overlying the mandible. Recently, we have made an effort to perform this technique through intraoral approaches to prevent scar formation on the submandibular area and modified the design of the osteotomy, that is step osteotomy technique, to increase the raw bone surface on both osteotomized segments. The rationale for the application of this step osteotomy technique is to increase the amount of regeneracted bone and the length of distraction, to avoid damage of inferior alveolar neurovascular bundle, and to increase initial stability of the splitted segments. Step osteotomy procedure can be done with fine micro-osteotomy saw through subperiosteal tunneling. Extraoral pins should be inserted before making the osteotomy. Since 1974 we have applied this technique at 8 sites In 5 patients with mandibular deficiencies: 2 cases of hemifacial microsomia, 1 case of developmental facial asymmetry and 2 cases of mandibular bony defect. Mandibular elongation have been achieved from 12 to 20mm in length. 1 out of 8 site, we experienced non-union in the case of mandibular body defect. Some skeletal relapse and growth retardation phenomenon have been observed in some cases with the longest follow-up of 48 months.
