        Lip Bumper를 이용한 치료의 성공과 실패

        혼합치열기의 소아환자의 경미한 하악 전치부의 총생을 해결하는 문제와 하악 제 2 유구치의 조기 상실로 인한 하악 제 1 대구치의 근심경사 그리고 이에 따른 제 2 소구치의 맹출 공간 부족등을 해소하기 위한 여러가지의 방법들이 시도되어왔지만 저마다 그 술식의 적용범위나 방법 등에는 많은 어려움 들이 있어왔다. 이 연구의 목적은 이런 선택이 어려움을 가만하여 실제 임상에서 보다 간편하고 환자의 불편감을 줄여줄 수 있는 한 방법으로 Lip bumper를 이용한 술식을 소개하고 그 적용례를 통하여 성공과 실패 사례들을 소개함으로써 임상가들에게 보다 유익한 정보를 주기 위함이다. In the mixed dentition,many chidren have mild crowing of anterior dentition on the mandibular arch and mesial of mandibular molar.Lip bumper have been used to gain arch length for the alignment of mild to moderate crowded dental arches.As such,they may provide an alternative to extraction therapy.The claimed therapeutic effect of the lip bumper is bodily forward incisor movement,flaring of the low incisors,and distal tipping of the molar.The dental changes can be attributed to removal of lip pressure on the lower anterior dentition and the distal forces exerted at the molar at the abutment.The purpose of this study is to show more easily method of treatment for mild anterior crowding of mandible.

        아말감 와동의 설계에 따른 응력의 유한 요소법적 분석

        The Strain gage method, Holographic method and Photoelastic analysis etc. have been used for stress analysis of prosthesis, orthodontic or orthopedic appliances and filling materials. But these methods shows limits on the analysis of internal stress. But the Finite Element Analysis makes it. The purpose of this study was to compare the stress distribution of the various amalgam cavity design. The cavity was designed to 4 different types according to width and depth : isthmus ⅓, more than ½and flatten pulpal floor, rounded pulpal floor for protection of pulpal damage. The results were as follows : 1. Model I shows no critical stress on tooth material and the degree of forces are mild. 2. When the isthmus is ½of cuspal width, the stresses are distribute in cavity, cervical area and cusp tips. The degree of stress was higher when the isthlus is ⅓ of cuspal width. 3. When the pulpal floor is rounded, the stress was distributed well than that of the flattened pulpal floor. The latter shows that the stresses were widely distribute of into the tooth material than when the rounded pulpal floor. 4. Flattened pulpal floor shows that the stresses are higher than rounded pulpal floor on cusp tips and cervical area.

      • Bacillus sp. YJ-63이 생산하는 항곰팡이 항생물질의 구조분석

        토양으로부터 분리한 Bacillus sp. YJ-63으로부터 항진균성 항생물질을 분리하여 그 구조를 분석한 결과는 다음과 같다. 항생물질은 7개의 α-amino acid와 1개의 β-amino acid가 결합한 환상구조를 가지는 iturin E 계에 속하며 특히, β-amino acid의 methylene 수가 기존의 iturin E 보다 더 많은 것으로 나타났다. Structural analysis was performed by the ^1H-NMR, ^13C-NMR, amino acid composition analysis and FAB-mass. The instrumental analysis represented that the potential antifungal antibiotic belonged to the iturin E group antibiotic, consisting of 7 α-amino acid residues and a collection of β-amino acid with aliphatic side chain. Compared to the iturin E group, notably, the potent antifungal antibiotic from bacillus sp. YJ-63 carried longer β-amino acid side chain. In conclusion, these findings identified a potential antibiotic, which contained a stable cyclopeptide structure with long β-amino acid side chain.

      • N₂분위기에서 Solder 접합부의 젖음성 및 결함특성에 관한 연구

        본 실험을 통하여 대기와 N_2분위기에서의 젖음력과 솔더 접합부의 결함특성에 대하여 연구 검토하였다. 모든 시편 조건에서 질소분위기에서의 젖음성이 대기 중에서 젖음성 보다 좋아졌다. 또한 N_2유량이 증가함으로서 젖음 시간은 짧아지고, 젖음력은 증가하였다. N_2분위기에서 브리지(Bridge)발생률이 25∼76%정도로 현저히 감소하였다. N_2분위기에서는 젖음력의 향상으로 솔더 접합부가 안정되었으며 결함 발생률도 현저하게 감소되는 것을 확인할 수 있었다. This study was prepared to find out wettability and properties of defects on solder joints in N_2 conditions. The wettability of solder joints in N_2 condition was better than that in atmosphere condition, and when the flow rate of N_2 was increased, it is found that the wetting time got a little bit short and the wetting force got stronger as time passed. Also the rate of bridge defects was specially decreased in N_2 conditions, showing the decreasing ratio of 25∼76%. The solder joints were stabilized and the rate of defects was decreased by cause to increasement of wetting force in N_2 conditions.

        Any nation of the world has its own culture of physical activity in form of fighting that has been uniquely developed andsucceeded. Physical activity in form of fighting is the oldest type of sport. Wall paintings which illustrated fighting and wrestling figures are found in the remains of ancient Egyptian, Niespotamian, Indian and Chinese cultures. Such activity lost its original nature gradually over time, was transformed into a game as contending for victory. It becomes a seasonal practice now(Lee Jae Flak, 1998:5-11). Since the start of the modern times, Sirumhas been formalized, systematized and developed into a game as relevant new rules have been created and prevailed. Similar types of Sirum have been practiced and developed by different nations of the world in different ways. Sumo is the national sport of Japan and is greatly supported by the nation. Topped among Japanese professional sports, Sumo is exciting the island nation as a whole and very much loved by Japanese people( Kim Ok Hee et al., 1998:1-4). Started together with Korean professional Sirum almost simultaneously, Korean professional baseball, soccer and basketball games have been firmly established in this nation and are now globally advanced with good performance in A-class international matches. In contrast, Korean professional Sirum is still far behind other professional sports in regard to game operation and active engagement by spectators. Now it is necessary to make best efforts of setting foundations for the activation and promotion of this nation's professional Sirum through a better preparation of game rules for attracting more spectators, establishment of systems for reasonable management and operation and a Letter education and training of professional Sirum players and instructors, under the motto of the right succession and restoration ofsuch traditional cultural asset(Oh Beom Tae, 1999: 11-23).

      • 동해안 일부 연안해수의 COD 및 중금속함량

        위락시설이 위치한 동해안의 연안해수에 대한 수질환경자료로 COD와 아연, 카드뮴, 납 및 구리 등의 중금속을 중심으로 조사하였다. COD(1.24∼1.41mg/L), Zn(4.34∼7.84ppb), Pb(1.56∼2.19ppb), Cu(0.90∼2.45ppb) 및 Cd(0.17∼0.30ppb)로 나타났다. 이로 부터 오염상태의 정도를 꼬집어 말할 수는 없으나 아직은 오염지역에서 벗어나 있다고 볼 수 있으며, 앞으로의 오염상태를 비교할 수 있는 자료로써 기여할 것이다. The COD and the concentrations of Zn, Cd, Pb, and Cu have been determined in some coastal areas of the Eastern Sea, reflecting the influence of the pollution sources along the shore line. Applying spectrophotometric rapid method for COD and the voltammetric determination procedure in particular suitable for heavy metals at the trace level, significant contributions to a consistent data basis for the distribution of heavy metals in the sea could be achieved.
