Purpose: Heart rate variability(HRV) is the clinical consequence of various influences of the autonomic nervous system(ANS) on heart beat. HRV can estimate the potential physiologic rhythm from the interval between consecutive beats(RR interval or HRV data). It is known as RSA which represents respiration-related HR rhythmic oscillation. Previous studies demonstrated a specific breathing pattern(0.1Hz, 6breaths/min) to improve a physiological body condition related to the stress. In this paper, the level of stress would be evaluated in terms of three phases of the dental treatment, combined with 6breaths/min. Methods: These phases include before, during and after tooth extraction or anesthesia or something.36 patients' stresses were assessed using HRV stress analyzer in each phase in Kangdong Sacred Heart Hospital, and Chuncheon Sacred Heart Hospital, Hallym University Medical Center from Jun. to Sept. of 2007. HRV 5-min data collected were analyzed in time-domain and frequency-domain to evaluate the activity of autonomic nervous system(ANS) which represents the level of stress. Results: All HRV parameters including HF(high frequency), LF(low frequency) and LF/HF ratio showned a significant change affecting the ANS balance. There was a 6.4% difference between R(LF/HF)s on general breathing pattern for balance of Autonomic nervous system, but on controlled breathing pattern, 0.1Hz, was made narrow till 1.4%. The activity of ANS has increased by 1.4% on general breathing pattern, and by 2.9% on controlled breathing pattern, 0.1Hz. Conclusion: After analysis of preoperative stress changes and effect of breathing pattern of 0.1 Hz on the stress in 36 patients who have undergone third molar extraction, following was concluded. In the preoperative stage, the sympathetic change was the greatest?after the?anesthetic injection, and stress was relieved by controlling the breathing pattern to a frequency of 0.1Hz.

This paper has been carried out ot clarify the behavior of the BUE experimented Aluminium with using tungsten caribide tools. The results obtained are as follow : There was the block that varied suddenly at the initial cutting force. From the point of cutting distance 150㎜ Happened the BUE and the cutting force was the normal state. As share angle is increased, compression coefficient of the chip are increased. Relation between the friction coefficient of chip side and tool rake side can make the modelization studying the BUE size. As cutting speed is increased, chip thickness is decreased.

The causes of pyogenic liver abscess has been known as biliary tract disease or intrabadominal infection but the large proportions of the patients has no apparent underlying disorders. Recently colonic mucosal lesions were reported in patients with cryptogenic liver abscess and it has been suggested that colonic mucosal break may play a role in developing liver abscess in otherwise healthy patients. We experienced a patient of severe recurrent liver abscess complicated with endophthalmitis only 3 months after successful treatment of initial cryptogenic liver abscess and a polypoid colon cancer was discovered by chance. It seems prudent to proceed colonoscopic examination in patients with cryptogenic liver abscess especially when it is recurrent.

This study has been carried out to clear chip shape, chip formation and cutting mechanism of thermoplastic rigid polyvinyl chloride with low speed orthogonal cutting. The results obtained are as follows; 1. The chip shapes are classified flow type chip and shear type chip, they are became flow type as tool rake angle increases, according as cutting depth and cutting speed decreases. 2. The shear pitch zone of shear type chip is approached cutting depth. 3. The size effect is existed such as the metal cutting. 4. The friction coefficient decreases by increasing cutting depth, and it increases by increasing tool rake angle. 5. The experimental points are approached to some degree Ernst-Merchant's cutting equation, but the cutting equation of the given condition is obtained 1,47φ+β-α =2/5π.
SBR공정 방류수내 총인 제거를 위한 파일럿 플랜트 적용

The purpose of this study is to remove total phosphorus in the SBR effluent by combining coagulation, flocculation and inclined settler. The results of Jar test showed that PACS-2, optimum dosage was 2.0~5.0 mg/L. The water quality of the pilot plant effluent were pH 6.7~6.9(mean 6.7), Conductivity 309.3~386.2 μ S/cm(mean 345.2 μS/cm), Turbidity 0.1~0.5 NTU(mean 0.3 NTU), SS 0.0~0.6 mg/L(mean 0.4 mg/L), TN 3.85~5.12 mg/L(mean 4.39 mg/L), TP 0.05~0.19 mg/L(mean 0.13 mg/L), CODcr 1.9~7.3 mg/L(mean 4.5 mg/L), BOD 1.1~3.8 mg/L(mean 2.1 mg/L), respectively. The range of removal efficiency of itemized were Turbidity 46.3~92.2 %(mean 71.5 %), SS 66.7~100.0 %(mean 83.3 %), TN 0.0~15.9 %(mean 7.3 %), TP 60.9~91.6 %(mean 80.2 %), CODcr 30.0~80.0 %(mean 58.8 %), BOD 37.5~68.7 %(mean 54.6 %), respectively. Accordingly, the pilot plant of the present study were evaluated the physical and chemical treatment process can be applied to the biological treatment step the rear end. In addition, it were judged to be able to satisfy the concentration range of less than 0.2 mg/L for enhanced the Effluent Water Quality Standards of Ministry of Environment.
Ring형 섬유사 여재를 이용한 강우유출수내 미세입자 제거 특성 평가

In this study, H-fiber HS-P, developed to increase microbial adhesion in sewage treatment plant, was applied to upstream filtration rainfall runoff treatment system to evaluate treatment characteristics and backwashing effects. In case of ring type media (35, 40 mm), SS showed more than 80% of treatment efficiency when filtered at 20 m/h linear velocity. Did not go beyond. The result of analysis through particle size analysis is considered to satisfy the design factors and filter selection conditions of the filter type non-point pollution reduction facility proposed by the Ministry of Environment (Korea Environment Corporation). As a result of estimating the solid mass balance, the backwashing efficiency was high because the column residue was measured at 40 mm lower than 35 mm. Experimental results showed that the treatment efficiency was low at high linear velocities for both 35 and 40 mm media based on 20 m/h. There is no difference between the 35 and 40 mm media in the relationship between the flow rate and the SS treatment efficiency, and the rate of decrease for the speed change is small.

To evaluate the clinical efficacy of ciprofloxacin (CFX) on treatment of the pigs with respiratory diseases or diarrhea. CFX at various dosages were administered intramuscularly to the diseased pigs selected from the pig farms located in Chungnam province. One hundreds and fourteen heads of pigs with respiratory diseases were divided into five groups and CFX at 0.25, 0.5, 1.0 (= 2.5mg CFX/Kg B.W.) and 2.0 doses were administered i.m. for 5 days. The recovery rates were found 31.8%, 73.9%, 91.3% and 92.0%, respectively, being higher than that of the untreated control group (19.0%). The mortality of the treated groups were 0%, that is lower than that of the control (9.5%). Seven kinds of bacteria were isolated from the respiratory organs of 86 pigs, and 34 (39.5%) of 86 pigs showed the complicated infection. In analyzing by the pigs infected with a single pathogen as P. multocida; A. pleuropneumonia. Staphyloccus spp. or Mymplasma spp., the recovery rates were 0∼66.6% at 0.25 dose, 66.6∼100% at 0.5 dose and 100% in all of 4 pathogens at 1.0 to 2.0 doses. At 0.25 dosage the pigs infected with A. pleuropneumonia showed the lowest recovery rate. One hundreds and twenty two heads of pigs with diarrhea were divided into five groups and CFX at 0.25, 0.5, 1.0 (= 2.5mg CFX/Kg B.W.) and 2.0 doses were administered i.m. for 5 days. The recovery rates were 29.1 %, 40.0%, 80.0% and 88.0%, respectively. The mortality of the treated groups were 0∼8.3%, being much lower than that of the control. Four kinds of bacteria were isolated from the fecal specimens of 94 pigs, and 84 (89.0%) of 94 pigs showed the complicated infection.
