      • Multimedia Room Bridge Adapter for Seamless Interoperability between Heterogeneous Home Network Devices

        A home network is a typical ubiquitous computing network that consists of various consumer devices and service environments. Home networks are requiring increasingly more complicated services, such as multimedia home theater and the monitoring and controlling of heterogeneous devices. Accordingly, a mutually connecting mechanism is needed among heterogeneous devices and services redundant. The current paper presents a Multimedia Room Bridge Adapter (MRBA) system that is designed to manage heterogeneous devices and support various services. In addition, a hardware and software prototype is implemented based on the proposed architecture.

        치조열 환자에서의 치아형태이상, 결혼치 및 위치이상에 대한 임상적 연구

        Until recent time many studies for relationship of dental abnormalities and cleft lip and palate were reported, higher prevalence of abnormality was revealed. The patients with large cleft size had significantly more missing teeth than patients with small cleft size. The tooth that is most usually missed in normal population is the mandibular second premolar, followed by the maxillary lateral incisor and the upper second premolar. The aim of this study was to analyse the prevalence of dental abnormalities and ectopic eruption in patients with cleft alveolus visiting our hospital. Radiographs, dental cast and records from about 60 patients were analysed to find the relation of missing, malformed, malpositioned tooth and delayed eruption and cleft site.

        홍민어 Sciaenops ocellatus에서의 바이러스성 신경괴사증 viral nervous necrosis

        1999년 10월에서 11월 사이에 남해안 일대의 홍민어 종묘 생산장에서 20~30열령의 치어가 척추만곡 및 이상유영을 하며 대량 폐사하였다. 병어는 특이 외부 증상이 없었고, 높은 누적폐사량이 바이러스 질병으로 의심되어, 조직학적 및 분자생물학적인 검사를 행하여 폐사원인을 확인하였다. 폐사개체의 조직을 H-E 염색하여 관찰한 결과 뇌와 안구의 신경세포에서 공포와 괴사가 관찰되었고, 전자현미경 관찰에서는 안구와 뇌에서 바이러스 입자가 관찰되었다. RT-PCR 결과에서는 ≒426 bp의 DNA 단편을 확인할 수 있었다. 이러한 결과로 홍민어에서 발생한 대량폐사는 바이러스성 신경괴사증(VNN)으로 진단되었다. Mass mortalities occurred among red drum lavae, 20 to 30 days old, culturing at hatcheries on southern costal area. No specific external signs were observed except abnormal swimming and spinal deformity. It was, however, suspected as a viral etiology due to high mass mortalities so that histopathological and molecular biological study was performed to evaluate the agent. Both vacuoles and necrosis were observed on nerve cells of brain and eye by H-E staining, and viral particles were observed on electronmicroscopic examination. On the other hand, DNA fragment, approximately 426 bps, was amplified with RT-PCR. The above results were able to diagnosis the etiological agent of mass moralities in red drum larvae as VNN(viral nervous necrosis)virus.

        피로와 의료이용, 업무상 사고 및 질병결근

        Objectives: This study examined the relationship of fatigue to medical utilization, occupational accident and sickness absence. Subjects and Methods: Data were obtained from the National Study for Development and Standardization of Occupational Stress (NSDSOS Project, 2002~2004). A total of 30,146 employees categorized within the Korean Standard Industrial Classification and the Korean Standard Occupational Classification were recruited. A structured-questionnaire was used to assess the participants' sociodemo-graphics, job-related factors, health-related behaviors, personality trait, self=perceived fatigue (MFS) and the frequency of medical utilization, occupational accident and sickness absence. Data on medical utilization and occupational accident were confirmed from company health records. Chi-square test and logistic regression analysis were used to elucidate the relationship of self-perceived fatigue to medical utilization, occupational accident and sickness absence. Results: In logistic regression analyses, self-perceived fatigue was associated with medical utilization (outpatient), occupational accident and sickness absence although the strength of the associations was higher in the blue collar workers except for medical utilization. For medical utilization, the white collar worker's adjusted odds ratios of outpatient utilization for workers scoring in the third quartile and the highest quartile, compared to workers scoring in the lowest quartile were 1.50 (95% CI: 1.20-1.87) and 2.16 (95% CI: 1.69-2.75), respectively. The blue collar workers' adjusted odds ratios of outpatient utilization for workers scoring in the second (OR: 1.23, 95% CI: 1.06-1.43), third (OR: 1.42, 95% CI: 1.22-1.66) and highest quartile (OR:1.83, 95% CI: 1.55-2.17), respectively, compared to workers scoring in the lowest quartile were statistically significant. However, no associations were found between fatigue and inpatient utilization for either the white or blue collar workers. The blue collar workers' adjusted odds ratios of being injured for workers scoring in the second, third and highest quartile were 1.41 (95% CI: 1.00-2.00), 1.57 (95% CI: 1.10-2.22) and 2.41 (95% CI: 1.69-3.44), respectively, compared to those scoring in the lowest quartile, but, those of the white collar workers were not significant. There was more likely to an increased risk of sickness absence in workers scoring in the second, third and highest quartile compared to those scoring in the lowest quartile in both white and blue collar workers, but the magnitudes of risk were higher in the blue collar workers than the white collars workers. Conclusion: This result suggests that fatigue is a determinant predictor of medical utilization, occupational accident and sickness absence, and that the pattern of risks for the three outcomes differs according to the occupational type. Some limitations of this study and considerations for future study were also discussed.

        『주역참동계』에 나타난 의학사상 연구

        According to 『Dongeuibogam(東醫寶鑑)』, 『the Shinnong Herb Bible(神農本草經)』, 『Chamdonggo(參同攷)』, come to the conclusion about medical thought of 『the Zhouyi Cantongxie(周易參同契)』. Alchemy is a common field both on the eastern and western civilization, but a process of development is different. Ancient chinese alchemist made a study on external alchemy, but harmful consequences of external alchemy was consecutive, many scholars had turned their interest on internal alchemy which is related in human meridian biology and spirit. In the western alchemy has developed to make a study on analytic psychology and science of religion. Most importantly, the eastern and western alchemy have something in common what at the point of the perfection of self is similar, but the name is different, for example in the eastern alchemy we can be immortals and take a spiritual enlightenment with the elixir of life, in the western we can take a cure of souls as a christian. As for internal alchemy, 『Cantongxie(參同契)』 gives influence to the theories such as the theory of danjeon(lower part of the abdomen), evolution, aging, and life nurturing. Especially, the theory of danjeon shows such merit for studying since it is similar to triple energizers(三焦) and the theory of qi street(氣街) of oriental medicine. The study on 『Cantongxie(參同契)』 was achieved in Korea too, especially Chosun dynasty. 『Candongkao (參同攷)』 by Seo Myung-eung(徐命膺, 1716~1787) are representative. According to 『Candongkao(參同攷)』, Geon(乾), Gon(坤), Gam(坎), and Ri(離), the four trigrams for divination, each are affiliated with lungs, spleen, kidneys, and heart. Nowadays the study on alchemy correspond with modern trends, which are anti-aging and living without any disease. If processed mineral drugs is assured for stability, it can be used for incurable diseases such as cancer.

        한국인 직무 스트레스 측정도구의 개발 및 표준화

        Background and Purposes: Over the past three decades, numerous studies performed in Korea have reported that job stress is a determinant risk factor for chronic diseases and work disability. Every society has its own culture and occupational climate particular to their organizations, and hence experiences different occupational stress. An occupational stress measurement tool therefore needs to be developed to estimate it objectively. The purpose of this study is to develop and standardize the Korean Occupational Stress Scale (KOSS) which is considered to be unique and specific occupational stressors in Korean employees. Subjects and Methods: Data were obtained from the National Study for Development and Standardization of Occupational Stress (NSDSOS Project: 2002-2004). A total of 12,631 employees from a nationwide sample proportional to the Korean Standard Industrial Classification and the Korean Standard Occupational Classification were administered. The KOSS was developed for 2 years (2002-2004). In the first year, we collected 255 items from the most popular job stress measurement tools such as JCQ, ERI, NIOSH and OSI, and 44 items derived from the a qualitative study (depth interview). Forty-three items of KOSS, in the second year, were retained for use in the final version of the KOSS by using Delphi and factor analysis. Items were scored using conventional 1-2-3-4 Likert scores for the response categories. Results: We developed eight subscales by using factor analysis and validation process: physical environment (3 items), job demand (8 items), insufficient job control (5 items), interpersonal conflict (4 items), job insecurity (6 items), organizational system (7 items), lack of reward (6 items), and occupational climate (4 items). Together they explained 50.0% of total variance. Internal consistency alpha scores were ranged from 0.51 to 0.82. Twenty-four items of the short form of the KOSS (KOSS-SF) were also developed to estimate job stress in the work setting. Because the levels of the subscales of occupational stress were gender dependent, gender-specific standard norms for both the 43-item full version and the 24-item short form using a quartile for the subscales of KOSS were presented. Conclusion: The results of this study suggest that KOSS might be an appropriate measurement scale to estimate occupational stress of Korean employees. Further and more detailed study needs to be conducted to improve the validity of this scale.

        구강외과 수술용 스텐트 기반 영상유도 수술 시스템의 개발

        Purpose : The purpose of this study was to develop a stent-based image guided surgery system and to apply it to oral and maxillofacial surgeries for anatomically complex sites. Materials and Methods : We devised a patient-specific stent for patient-to-image registration and navigation. Threedimensional positions of the reference probe and the tool probe were tracked by an optical camera system and the relative position of the handpiece drill tip to the reference probe was monitored continuously on the monitor of a PC. Using 8 landmarks for measuring accuracy, the spatial discrepancy between CT image coordinate and physical coordinate was calculated for testing the normality. Results : The accuracy over 8 anatomical landmarks showed an overall mean of 0.56±0.16 mm. The developed system was applied to a surgery for a vertical alveolar bone augmentation in right mandibular posterior area and possible interior alveolar nerve injury case of an impacted third molar. The developed system provided continuous monitoring of invisible anatomical structures during operation and 3D information for operation sites. The clinical challenge showed sufficient accuracy and availability of anatomically complex operation sites. Conclusion : The developed system showed sufficient accuracy and availability in oral and maxillofacial surgeries for anatomically complex sites. (Korean J Oral Maxillofac Radiol 2009; 39 : 149-56)

        명창 공대일의 삶과 예술세계

        본 고는 해방 이후 판소리사에서 매우 중요한 역할을 담당한 명창 공대일을 조사ㆍ연구함으로써, 광주 지역에서 전승되던 소리의 일단을 밝혀 판소리사의 불충분한 부분을 보완하고 실증하고자 하였다. 전남은 서편제, 보성소리의 발원지이자, 수많은 명창을 배출한 곳이기도 하다. 특히 광주는 전남지역의 중심도시로써 판소리를 전승시키고, 공부하고, 또 이를 통해 생계를 유지하고자 많은 명창 및 소리꾼들이 모여들었던 판소리의 성지였다. 일제시대 예기양성소로 유명했던 광주권번은 판소리 교육의 중심이었으며, 해방 후에는 광주성악연구회, 호남국악학원, 전남민속예술학원 등 많은 단체들을 통해 판소리가 공연되고 향유되었다. 광주권번이 형성된 이후부터 1960년경까지 광주는 판소리의 지역 거검 역할을 하였다. 이 시기 공대일은 광주를 지역적 기반으로 하여 판소리의 전승과 교육을 담당한 인물로 주목된다. 그는 광주판소리의 최대 전성기에 광주에서 활동하며 많은 제자를 가르쳤고, 서울을 중심으로 명인ㆍ명창들이 활동을 하던 시기에도 계속 광주에 머물면서 판소리 교육에 힘썼다. 무대 활동 보다 후진 양성에 노력을 기울인 관계로 명성과 재물 등은 따르지 않았으나, 광주판소리 전성기라고 할 수 있는 시기에 다른 명창들보다 많은 제자들을 육성하고, 이를 통해 광주 판소리를 더욱 활성화 시켰다. 다시 말해 공대일은 광주 지역의 대표적인 국악학원에서 30여년 간을 활동하며, 광주판소리의 전승과 활로 역할을 담당했던 인물이라고 할 수 있다. 공대일은 광주라는 지역에 묻혀서 빛을 바래지 못했던 옥석이다. 그의 딸인 공옥진의 유명세에 힘을 얻어 광주라는 곳에 판소리 명창 공대일이 있었다는 존재감이 남게 되었지만, 그에 대한 연구는 잠깐의 언급 정도에 지나지 않는다. 그 때문에 출생, 탯자리, 활동까지 제대로 남아있는 자료가 없어 여러 가지 논란을 야기했고, 삶의 족적은 그와 함께 활동했던 그 지역의 예술인들에게 구술로써 전해들은 이야기를 재구성할 수밖에 상황이다. 그러나 필자는 이 글을 통해 공대일이 광주판소리를 논할 때 결코 빼놓을 수 없는 중요한 인물 중의 한명임을 확실하게 해두고 싶다. 광주판소리의 큰 줄기에는 孔家(공창식, 공대일, 공기남)의 힘이 자리 잡고 있기 때문이다. This essay is to research and study on Gong Dae Il who was playing the important role of Pansori in Kwangju Province after the restoration of independence from Japan. Now this research focuses to find. out what kinds of Pansori which is transmitted in Gwang Ju for helping the insufficient part of Pansori history. Jeollanam-do is a place which means the source of Seopyeonje and Boseong Sori and also turned out many Pansori artists. Especially, Kwangju was seem to be the holy centre of Paosori in Jeollanam-do and it has promoted the Pansori and most of people who worked at in this field came to Kwangju for their living hood during that time. Kangju-gwonbon is a famous place for producing the Yaegi who a female entertainer and also the centre of Paosori during Japanese colonial period. Since 1945, the Pansori was playing and enjoyed by Kwangju-Seongak Institute, Honarn-traditional music Institute and the other Institutes. During this time, Gong Dae Il was focused by his activities, transmitting and educating the Pansori in Kwangju area. He taught many students and was trying to promote the education of Pansori but the other expert of Pansoti conducted most of their time in Seoul. In the result of this, Gong Dae Il had lots of students compare with others but there was no money for him as a natural. It means that Gong Dae Il is now commented to play great role of promoting and making a route of Kwangju-Pansori for more than 30 years in his lifetime. Gong Dae Il was a important person in History of Pansori but most of his effort to promote the Pansori is not recognized by fair judgement, However, he is showed how much he meant to be to us by his daughter who is a famous Pansori artist, Gong Ok Jin. But it is not quite enough to explain his achievements and seems to briefly comment his works without his intensive research about him. For this reason, there are many issues about him such as birth, activity, because there are little data about him. This research focuses on Gong Dae Il was one of most important person who did great role of Pansori in Kwangju area and add the family of Gong(Gong Chang Sik, Gong Dae Il, Gong Gi Nam) in the centre of Kwangju-Pansori.

        The Maintenance of Organizational Healthiness through Regular Organizational Culture Diagnosis

        본 연구에서는 산림청을 대상으로 2006년부터 2012년까지 2년을 주기로 정기적으로 조직문화에 어떠한 변화가 일어났는지를 조직문화진단을 통해 실증적으로 분석하였다. 진단을 통해 조직의 건강성을 지속적으로 유지하면서 조직발전이 이루어지기 위해 필요한 전략들을 조직문화에 대한 변화관리전략을 중심으로 모색하였다. 분석결과를 살펴보면 1차 진단에서는 현재 수준의 조직문화 유형에서 시장지향문화가 가장 강한 것으로 나타났고, 상대적으로 혁신지향문화가 가장 약한 문화유형으로 인식하고 있는 것으로 나타났다. 그리고 2차 진단, 3차 진단, 4차 진단 모두 시장지향문화가 가장 강한 것으로 나타났고, 혁신지향문화가 가장 약한 문화유형으로 인식하고 있는 것으로 나타났다. 직급별로 살펴보면 상위직 직원들의 조직문화에 대한 진단을 비교분석해 보면, 상위직의 경우 노무현 정부의 현재수준에서는 관계지향문화를 이명박 정부 때에는 시장지향문화를 가장 강한 조직문화유형으로 인식하고 있었고, 2010년의 3차 진단을 제외하고는 혁신지향문화를 가장 약한 조직문화유형으로 인식하고 있는 것으로 분석되었다. 또한 미래의 바람직한 조직문화유형에 대해서는 관계지향문화가 현재수준과 같이 가장 강한 조직문화유형이 되기를 희망하고 있었고, 가장 약한 조직문화유형은 위계지향문화가 되기를 원하고 있는 것으로 분석되었다. 직의 경우 현재수준에서는 시장지향문화를 가장 강한 조직문화유형으로 인식하고 있었고, 혁신지향문화를 가장 약한 조직문화유형으로 인식하고 있는 것으로 분석되었다. 또한 미래의 바람직한 조직문화유형에 대해서는 관계지향문화가 가장 강한 조직문화유형이 되기를 희망하고 있었고, 가장 약한 조직문화유형은 시장지향문화가 되기를 원하고 있는 것으로 분석되었다. 조직문화에 대한 진단과 분석을 통해 나타난 결과를 바탕으로 하여 조직문화 관리방안을 제시해 보면 다음과 같다. 첫째, 일관성 있는 조직문화의 강도는 조직에 안정감을 가져다준다는 측면과 문화적 동일성으로 인해 정책 및 사업전반에 대한 명확한 의사전달과 의사결정에서의 합의 또는 공감대 형성이 용이하다는 장점이 산림청에서는 아주 긍정적으로 작용하고 있다는 것을 시사해 주고 있다. 둘째, 바람직한 미래문화와 현재문화 사이에 존재하는 차이(gap)의 강도에 대해 확인할 수 있었으며, 이에 대한 처방이 필요하다는 것을 알 수 있다. 셋째, 조직문화를 통해 조직이 발전하고자 하는 방향에 대해서 직원들 모두의 공감대를 형성하는 작업들도 병행될 필요가 있다는 것을 조직의 기관장이 인식하는 것이 필요하다. 마지막으로 조직의 지속적인 발전과정을 확인하기 위해서는 현재시점에서의 조직문화에 대한 연구보다는 여러 해에 걸친 시계열적 관점에서의 조직문화에 대한 연구가 더욱 활성화될 필요가 있다. This study conducts organizational diagnosis and analyzes changes in organizational culture of the head office of Korea Forest Service in the span of 2-year, from 2006 to 2012. Through the diagnosis this study looks for strategies for maintaining the organizational healthiness of KFS, which are centered on managing organizational culture sustainably. Comparative analysis of the first, second, third, and fourth diagnosis results on organizational culture of the public officials of KFS shows that market culture was strongest at the current level of the first diagnosis. On the other hand, adhocracy culture was the least perceived type. In the second, third, and fourth diagnoses, market culture is the strongest and adhocracy culture was the least perceived culture. high-ranked officials perceived clan culture as the strongest culture at the current level during the Roh Moo-Hyun Government and market culture during the Lee Myung-Bak Government. Except the third diagnosis in 2010, they perceived adhocracy culture as the weakest. Comparative analysis on lower position officials’ diagnosis on organizational culture shows that they perceived market culture as the strongest culture at the current level and adhocracy culture was weakest culture. As for future desirable culture, they hoped for clan culture to be the strongest culture and market culture to be the weakest culture. The measures to manage organizational culture based on the results of regular diagnosis and analysis on organizational culture with two years in cycle from 2006 to 2012 targeting the public officials of KFS are presented as follows: First, The consistent organizational cultural strength has an aspect bringing stability to the organization and merits that clear communication on policy and overall business becomes easier, and agreement or sympathy formation in decision making becomes easier, due to cultural homogeneity. Those merits are implied to work positively in KFS. Second, strength of gap between desirable future culture and current culture could be confirmed, and thus it was understood that measures to cope with such a phenomenon are needed. Third, organization’s head to recognize the need for simultaneously shaping sympathy of all the public officials regarding a direction for organizations to develop through organizational culture. Lastly, this study employs time-series analysis to study the change of organizational culture and confirms the continuous effort for organizational development.
