        The purpose of this study was to explore how to access nuring information using computer and other softwares. It described the ways to reach and get the database on abstracts of masters' and doctoral dissertations in nursing and medicine in Korea. It also provided the ways to get nursing related database around the world, such as Medline, using internet search tools. Internet search tools included databases and their themes and unique characteristics. In addition, the study illustrated the ways to use netscape navigator using LAN or modem and to use CINAHL-CD-Rom title which is commonly utilized in nursing. The results of this study might help nurses and nursing scholars efficiently access the needed information and database which can be utilized in education and research areas.

        The judiciary in the modern democratic society has an important significance as a final fort to protect human rights of the people. So the judiciary publishes many publications in order to help fulfill its basic idea, that is, a fair and speedy trial. As the government publication is published by the government agency, it is necessary that we should know about the government agency which is a publishing body in order th both understand is publications and make an efficient use of them, Hence I explained the followings for the syudy of judicial publications: overviewing the judiciary itself about its status, historical background, and structure and function which are related to publishing activity; examining a characteristics of the judicial publications, and the process of publishing and distributing them; briefly analyzing them on the basis of their form, publishing agency, publishing date and the subject. I divided the judical publications into 12 types with the consideration of their quality, listed the titles of each type, and accounted for the use of those types, on the base of the efficiency in the legal research. Viewing the above facts, I concluded the followings; the number of the judicial publications is less than that of the legislative publications and of the executive publications; there is much material in the type of serial; almost all the publications are about the law; a few agencies take a leading place in publishing activity; and the publishing activity has been performed vigorously since 1970.

        (1) In the experiment of tensile strength(unit ㎏) between raw cotton arid Gal-ott, since raw cotton was 16.7, Gal-ott 20.7, the warp was higher by 24%. In the weft, raw cotton was 30.2 Gal-ott 42.1, thus Gal-ott was much stronger by 39.4% than raw cotton. (2) In the comparison of elongation between raw cotton and Gal-ott, raw cotton was 10.5% in the warp, Gal-ott was 18.4%, thus Gal-ott was stronger by 70% Raw cotton was 15.8% in the weft while Gal-ott was 19.7%, thus Gal-ott was higher by 24%. (3) In the thermal transmittance between raw cotton and Gal-ott, raw cotton was 24.65%, but Gal-ott 23.27, thus Gal-ott was lower. (4) The colorfastness to rubbing of Gal-ott became higher after the third washing. (5) The colorfastness to light of Gal-ott became distinctively low in proportion to the hour it was exposed to light. (6) In the colorfastness to perspiration, it was high in the acid perspiration solution, but low in the alkali perspiration solution. (7) In the colorfastness to washing, staining was high, but it was low in change in color.

      • 兒童의 二重分類能力의 發達現象에 關한 硏究

        On the basis of the findings of a series of experiments, B.Ingelder and J.Piaget maintained that logical classificatory ability of children emerges at the age of 7 or 8 when the concept of reversibility and class-inclusion is grasped. Their experiments chiefly depended on the methods of additive classification and multiplicative classification:especially the latter, which concerns children's. ability to operate within a matrix, has been the center of research due to its involvement of multiple attributes. Employing the same kind of matrix formats as Piaget's or its transformed versions, A.W.Siegel & E.Kresh(1971), R.K.Parker & M.C.Day(1971), W.F.Overton & R.Jordan(1971), W.F.Overton & D.Broadjinsky(1972) etc examined his theory and its concomitant aspects:however, their results did not always coincide. This study aims to examine the developmental aspect of children's multiplicative classificatory ability together with the transitional aspect in the use of attributes for classification. Four kinds of matrix format with markers were used as instrument. The subjects were 150 elementary school children randomly sampled, 30 at each of five age levels. From the results and discussions the following conclusions could be drawn: 1.multiplicative classificatory ability of children develops rapidly between the age of 6 and 8, the age level of which coincides with the beginning of concrete-operational stage. 2.In selecting a perceptual atribute, color is preferred to shape. 3.The use of attributes changes from perceptual to abstract, with the transition taking place between the age of 6 and 7, that is, the perceptual attribute is dominant at 6 and the abstract prevails after 7. 4.The intensional aspect of classification comes before the extensional aspect. But the gap is narrowed after the age of 7, until the integration and completion of the two at the age of 9 and 10.

      • 초등학교 아동의 평형과제 해결을 위한 규칙지식 분석

        This studt aimed to measure the primary school children's performance level in balance tasks and to analyse the types of rules they apply to the solution of the task, Theoretically, the analysis was based on Siegler's rule-assessment approach which emphasizes the importance of knoweledge base in the efficiency of learning and instruction. Subjects of this study were 64 primary school children from 2nd to 5th grade. equally divided into four groups. Tasks used in this study were 24 balance tasks, 4 in each of 6 types of the task including balance, weight, distance, conflict-weight, conflict-distance and conflict-baalnce task. The following conclusions were obtained from the result and discussion : First, a significant difference in performance level is revealed only bewteen the 2nd and 3rd, 4th, 5th grades, which means no progress between 3rd and 5th grades. Therefore, appropriate educational regards is necessary to promote the task solution ability of children beyond the 3rd grade. Second, the level of children's balance task solution is different by the type of task. Thus, it is required to reexamine the adequacy of the types of task presented in the text and to varify the task type to promote children's ability to solve balance task. Third, according to Siegler's rule criterion, the 2nd grade children chiefly rely on rule Ⅰ, whereas 3rd 4th, and 5th grade children on rule Ⅱ and Ⅲ. Therefore, it seems evident that the rules required to solve the tasks in the text and those represented in children's knowledge base are not coincided. Fourth, the major sources of children's error revealed in their explanation are found to be both too heavy a reliance an the encoding of weight and failure in systematic intergration of weight and distance. It is suggested that two factors be emphasized in teaching balance problem.
