This paper deals with consideration for transient stability of power system The analysis of transient stability is very important because it detects the possibility of large scale outage by system collapse caused system configuration change and load unbalance. Two units YGN 3&4 will be connected to the YGN 1 & 2 switchyard through two 345KV circuits until 1996 because of the nuclear power plant construction according to power demand increment. Therefore it is necessary to study stability analysis, fault capacity calculation and power flow problem in assumption of two units YGN 3&4 operation interconnected with the power system Finally, considerations of the effect of interconnection and the establishment of preservation methods for reliability of stable opration of the power system are included in this paper.

We have studied on the factors that gave the limitation of performance on our laboratory's Duoplasmatron ion source. We describe (1) the method determining the distance between the intermediate electrode and anode gap, (2) the relationships between the discharge parameters and the regime change over points.

Chemical analyses of geochemical or environmental samples get useful when inter-relationships among the samples are discovered, as the latters tell the mechanism participating in the flow of a stream as well as the transfer of materials in the environment. The present study is concerned in the river sediments for which a technique of the concentration correlation matrix is applied to discover the origin of various trace elements. For this investigation, the river-sediments contained six elements(Cd, Cr, Cu, Pb, Zn and Mn )were collected at different stations of the Kumho River and its tributary streams. As a result of drawing up concentration correlation matrix and investigating relationship for concentration of each element, it is concluded that comparisons of these relationships agree with geographical or geological relations and the present condition of pollution.

In this paper, I examined the fusion in case that the predicate of content complement is copula 'i―'(이―). The fusion form of the phrase containing copula could be represented such as 'NP―(i)―ra―COMP'. By such form, '―(i)―ra―COMP' constructions behave like case marker. Yet, they are not case marker. Really, in this constructions the NP which has the case dose not reveal in S- structure, but reveals only empty category. Some units containing '―ra―' are not the fusion form of content complements; i. e. '―ra―' in '―ra, ―rado, ―raso, ―raya'(―라, ―라도, ―라서, ―라야) are the allomorphs of 'a‘(―아) which appear after copula. The rest constructions containing '―ra―' could be treated as fusion of complemental construction. In the fusion of the copula construction, the fusion forms show the speaker's attittute to the proposition of the complements as a over-looker. On the contrary, in non-fusional forms of citiation constructions, the speaker is not concerned in the modality to the cited sentence. Some fusion forms act like case markers i.e. '―ramyon(―라면), ‘―ran(―란)’. It means that that forms become the formative units.

Background : This study purposed to propose the fundamental data to develop the proper health promotion program through observation about the current status, lifestyle behaviors and results of health examinations of public personnel in Busan Metropolitan City. Methods : Subjects were 988 public services (683 male, 305 female) who were employed in City Hall of Busan Metropolitan City. We investigated the relation between lifestyle behaviors and self recognized health status using health examination in 2006. Data analysis on multiple logistic regression and multi-dimensional scaling were done using SPSS win(ver 12.0k) program. Results : The proportion of above 50 years old age are 47.1% in male and 59.7% in female. There are 10.2% in male and 15.8% in female with family history of hypertension, and 8.5% in male and 14.5% in female with family history of diabetes mellitus. There are 37.7% in male and 12.1% in female with obesity, and 10.6% in male and 7.7% in female with abnormal liver function. The disease suspicion rate for male was 1.8%, and 4.6% for female. Risk of hypertension in male was 3.7 times greater than in female and risk of diabetes mellitus in males was 5.0 times greater than in female. By questionnaire 71.8% in male and 78.3% in female had been thought themselves to have disease. Both male and female participants were more likely to think themselves with disease according to disease history of diabetes mellitus, liver dysfunction and hypercholesterolemia. Also aging is interfered that self-recognized health status. Conclusion : Self recognized health status was associated with diabetes mellitus, liver dysfunction, hypercholesterolemia, family history of chronic disease and aging in public employee of Busan Metropolitan City. This association point that there is need for continuous education and effort to modify their life style.

Cerivastatin과 Gemfibrozil 병합요법 후에 발생한 횡문근 융해증 : 1예보고

Most currently available statins are associated with an increase with risk of myositis, including rhabdomyolysis. Myopathy is believed to be caused by interference in the cytochrome P450 3A4 enzyme system, which results in a marked increase in reductase activity. Cerivastatin, a new synthetic HMG-CoA reductase inhibitor, is a safe, well-tolerated effective drug for the treatment of patients with dyslipidemia. The drug is metabolized by the cytochrome P450 3A4 and cytochrome P450 2C8 hepatic isoenzymes. Because of this dual metabolic pathway, it has been suggested that cerivastatin is less subject to drug-to-drug interactions. We describe a 60-year-old woman with rhabdomyolysis and localized myositis, after she had taken cerivastatin(lipobay, 0.3 mg/day) and gemfibrozil(lopid, 500 mg/day) for 1month.

J. C. Lagarias showed that the set of primes dividing certain second-order linear recurrences has positive density. He stated three cases of density for the set of primes that dividing the terms of the recurrences. The aim of this paper is to develope a very large integer analysis system for a density of the set of primes dividing linear recurrences by Java technology. Also, the system can visualize the density of the float type of some particular linear sequences.

변형된 측경부 전진피판술을 이용한 익상경 기형의 교정

Pterygium colli is a congenital malformation characterized by bilateral webbing of the neck extending from the mastoid to the acromion. The etiology of the webbed neck deformity is variable which include chromosomal abnormality, congenital disease and jugular lymphatic obstruction sequence. Aims of the surgical correction is to create a normal neck contour with a symmetrical posterior hairline while avoiding obvious scarring especially on the anterior and lateral neck. We used modified lateral cervical advancement technique for the correction of 3 cases of webbed neck deformity. All scars lie within or along the hairline and extend onto the posterolateral shoulder area. And this modification also provided natural hairine and neck controur. We can avoid tension suture and vertical suture line for the prevention of scar spreading by this medthod. There was no recurrence of neck deformity during 6 month to 2 year follow up period.

UASB 공정에 의한 슬러리형 돈사폐수의 처리

This research examined the treatment efficiency and methane production rate in treating slurry-type swine waste using UASB (upflow anaerobic sludge blanket) reactor. The UASB reactor was operated at an organics volumetric loading rate (VLR) of 2.6-15.7 ㎏COD/㎥/day. A stepwise increase of the VLR resulted in a temporary deterioration in the COD removal rate in UASB reactor but recovered quickly. The COD removal rate were 65-70% for VLR up to 5 ㎏COD/㎥/day. When organics VLR was 10 ㎏COD/㎥/day, the COD removal rate decreased sharply and there was loss of 17.537g of the seeding biomass due to sludge washout. This result indicated that the UASB system cannot be adapted to more than 10 ㎏COD/㎥/day of VLR. As the organic load increased from 2.6 to 15.7 ㎏ COD/㎥/d, the biogas production rate varied from 3.2 to 10.8 L/d and the methane conversion rate of the organic matter varied from 0.30 to 0.23 ㎥CH₄/㎏ COD_(removed). The methane content showed the range of 70.1-81.5% during the experimental period. The volatile solids (VS) removal efficiency was similar at the low VLR (< 5 ㎏COD/㎥/day), but it decreased sharply at the high VLR (> 5 ㎏COD/㎥/day). The VS reduction rate was, moreover, large those of COD. The result shows that hydraulic retention time above 2 days is essential in case of treating wastewater containing 1% of solids.
