Purpose : The purpose of this study is to examine the effects of trunk stability training on improving trunk control, respiratory function, and respiratory muscle activation in stroke patients. Methods : The subjects were assigned to two groups: the intervention group (n=15) and the control group (n=15). Both groups participated in a conventional stroke rehabilitation program, but the intervention group also received trunk stability training for 30 minutes a day, 3 times a week, for 6 weeks. The main trunk stability exercise consisted of the dead bug exercise. Trunk control was assessed using a trunk impairment scale, and respiratory function (pulmonary function and respiratory muscle function) was assessed using spirometry. The data were analyzed using the Pearson correlation, independent t-test, and paired t-test. Results : Trunk control was significantly positively correlated with pulmonary function and respiratory muscle strength. Both groups showed a significant increase in trunk control and respiratory function. Conclusion : This study demonstrated that a conventional stroke rehabilitation program and trunk stability training have positive effects on respiratory function and respiratory muscle activation in stroke patients.
Coagulant와 Hydro-cyclone을 결합한 상향류식 여과시스템

Coagulation Hydro-cyclone can be added to the upward flow filtration system utilizing Fiber-Ball filter media to analyze and evaluate the treatment characteristics in order to Non-point pollution, which is a pollution problem, more efficiently. Hydro-cyclone was added to the existing Filter column to create an Up-Flow Filtration system. The treatment efficiency according to the operating conditions such as turbidity, suspended solids, pH, inflow flow rate, and head loss was analyzed. Comparison of inflow water and runoff water suspended solids and turbidity analysis results showed a minimum treatment efficiency of 93.21% and a maximum treatment efficiency of 99% or more. It was analyzed that the SS and turbidity analysis results showed a treatment efficiency of 80% or more before and after backwashing twice. When Coagulation Hydro-cyclone was added compared to the existing filtration system, it was analyzed that particles that had not been treated as an adsorption fiber company filter medium between particles could be treated.

인터넷을 기반으로 한 원격지 학급간 협동 학습 시스템은 원격지 학급을 연결하는 매칭 시스템, 다양한 보상 체계와 상호 작용으로 실질적인 협동 학습이 이루어질 수 있도록 한 커뮤니티 시스템, 개인이나 모둠 및 학습실의 학습 성취도를 평가하고 학습 결과물을 공유할 수 있는 리포트 시스템으로 구성하였다. 특히 협동 학습 과정을 사전 준비 단계, 모둠 구성 단계, 상호 작용 단계, 결과협의 단계, 평가 정리 단계로 구분하여 시스템에 적용시켰다. 이 시스템은 다양한 상호 작용과 책임 있는 모둠 활동을 제공하므로 교사는 자연스럽게 ICT 활용 교육에 자신감을 갖게 되고, 학생은 정보화 사회에 필요한 기초적인 ICT와 공동체 의식을 습득할 것이다. Purpose : This study aims to examine the effects of home-based respiratory muscle training on respiratory function among the aged in the local community. Methods : A total of 13 elderly subjects were enrolled in this study. All the subjects participated in a respiratory muscle training program conducted at a local health center for 60 minutes a day;1 day per week;for 4 weeks. Additionally;they completed home-based respiratory muscle training each day. This home-based respiratory muscle training consisted of stretching exercises;breathing exercises;and strength training. To determine changes before and after intervention;forced vital capacity (FVC);forced expiratory volume in one second (FEV1);forced expiratory volume in one second/forced vital capacity (FEV1/FVC);maximal inspiratory pressure;maximal expiratory pressure;and peak expiratory flow (PEF) were measured. Paired t-tests were used to analyze all the data. Results : The results showed that there was a significant increase in FEV1 and PEF. Furthermore;there were no significant differences in respiratory strength before and after 4 weeks of training. Conclusion : In conclusion;the home-based respiratory muscle training positively affected respiratory function among the aged in the local community.

This treatise``s purpose is presenting to how activate livestock brand through an analysis regarding influence of FMD(Foot and Mouth Disease). To analysis, consumersurvey have been done for Gangwon-6 brand beef(Hoengseong livestock cattle, Hi-lok, Hanwooryeong, Daegwanryung beef, Neulpureum-Hongcheon Hanwoo, Chiaksan Cattle). After consumer survey, consumer``s consumption patterns on brand beef associated with FMD have been analysised using SPSS. In case of brand awareness, Hoengseong livestock cattle, Daegwanryung beef are higher than others. in case of brand image(avertising, marbling, safety, logos, and price), Hoengseong livestock cattle, Daegwanryung beef also more positive than others. Lastly in case of positioning of the position, compared with before FMD, Hoengseong livestock cattle, Daegwanryung beef is almost unchanged after FMD. Based on result of analysis, to activate brand beef need three things. First, General cattle is changing into Brand cattle. Second, strict management and improvement of livestock breeding environments is needed. Finally, method that improve brand awareness and brand image is needed.
호흡근 강화 훈련이 뇌졸중 환자의 호흡기능, 호흡근력과 기침능력에 미치는 영향

PURPOSE: The purpose of this study was to examine the effects of respiratory muscle training on respiratory function, respiratory muscle strength, and cough capacity in stroke patients. METHODS: This study used a nonequivalent control group pre-post test design. We recruited thirty-four stroke patients(16male, 18female), who were assigned to intervention (n=17), or control (n=17) groups. Both groups participated in a conventional stroke rehabilitation program, with the intervention groups also receiving respiratory muscle training 20 minutes a day, three times a week, for 4 weeks. Respiratory function (forced vital capacity) and respiratory muscle strength (maximal inspiratory pressure, maximal expiratory pressure) were assessed by spirometry. Cough capacity (peak expiratory flow) was assessed using a peak flow meter. The collected data were analyzed by independent and paired t-tests. RESULTS: The intervention group showed a significant increase in the forced vital capacity (FVC), maximal inspiratory pressure (MIP), maximal expiratory pressure (MEP) and peak expiratory flow (PEF) at the end of the program, while the control group showed no significant changes. CONCLUSION: This study showed that respiratory muscle training increased respiratory function, respiratory muscle strength, and cough capacity in stroke patients and prevented a decrease in cough capacity. These findings suggest that respiratory muscle training effect on respiratory function, respiratory muscle strength and cough capacity for rehabilitation in patients with stroke.

Recently, areas around railway tracks and industrial complex in Jinju have been used as urban gardens. The soils near these areas are exposed to various contaminants including heavy metals generated from rail traffic and industrial activities. To secure food safety, heavy metal contaminations of the soils were investigated. The general soil near the railway, the garden soil near the railway, and the garden soil near the industrial complex were collected and analyzed following the aqua regia method. Accumulation index (Igeo) was also calculated using the background level of heavy metals in Korea and Europe to identify the degree of contamination. As a result, the average value of heavy metals did not exceed the soil contamination guidelines, but a couple of soil samples showed higher heavy metal concentrations than the guidelines. In addition, the Igeo values of several soils showed contamination was progressed compared to the background level of heavy metals in Korea and Europe. Among the elements, Cu, Pb, Zn, and Sb had the highest contamination because they are related to railway traffic (Cu, Pb, Zn), agricultural materials like compost (Cu, Zn), and car brake (Sb). To secure food safety in urban agriculture, it is necessary to monitor the soil of urban vegetable gardens in the long term.
