In Vietnam, young people are gradually becoming the most accessible objects to social networks. With the development of technology, they usually use online social networks (ONS) as a tool to update information through multimedia content, which may contain other people s information. In different cases, other people s information will be shared and received for different purposes. Therefore, the risk is inevitable and may affect the privacy of individuals whose information is shared, causing turbulence in the community. This study aims to measure impact and find out the factors that influence the willingness of others to share information on social networks in Ho Chi Minh City by examining young people s perceptions that their activities on Facebook may be risky for other people s information. Besides that, the study proposes solutions to avoid possible risks when sharing information with others.
New Ceramide from Alocasia macrorrhiza
Tien, Nguyen Quyet,Ngoc, PhamHoang,Minh, Pham Hong,Kiem, Phan Van,Minh, Chau Van,Kim , Young-Ho The Pharmaceutical Society of Korea 2004 Archives of Pharmacal Research Vol.27 No.10
A new ceramide alomacrorrhiza A was isolated from the ethanolic extract of the plant Alocasia macrorrhiza (L.) Schott. Its chemical structure was elucidated as (2S,3S,4R)-2N-[(2'R)-2'- hydroxy-hexacosanoyl]-tetradecane-1,3,4-triol based on extensive 1D, 2D NMR, EI-MS, FABMS, HR-FAB-MS spectroscopic data and chemical degradation studies.

Jejunal Dieulafoy lesion (DL) is an exceedingly rare, life-threatening cause of gastrointestinal bleeding. Due to its rarity, intermittent bleeding symptoms that often necessitate prompt clinical intervention, variability in detection and treatment methods, and the risk of rebleeding, this condition frequently presents a diagnostic and therapeutic conundrum. We report a case of severe, intermittent, recurrent hematochezia due to a jejunal DL that was difficult to localize. In this case, the metallic coils used as a radiopaque marker allowed surgeons to accurately identify the bleeding site during intraoperative enteroscopy and successfully manage the lesion with minimally invasive laparoscopic surgery.
Quantum Periodic Cluster Methods for Strongly-Correlated Electron Systems
Minh-Tien Tran 한국물리학회 2008 THE JOURNAL OF THE KOREAN PHYSICAL SOCIETY Vol.53 No.6
Quantum periodic cluster methods for strongly-correlated electron systems are reformulated and developed. The real lattice is divided into a superlattice of clusters. The reformulation and development are based on a canonical transformation, which periodizes the fermions in the cluster space. The dynamical cluster approximation and the cellular dynamical mean field theory are related to each other through the canonical transformation. A cluster perturbation theory with periodic boundary conditions is developed. The periodic cluster perturbation theory is found to converge rapidly with corrections O(1/L2c), where Lc is the linear size of the clusters, whereas the ordinary cluster perturbation theory converges with corrections O(1/Lc).

In Southern Vietnam, the competition among Inland Clearance Depot (ICD) has resulted in deconcentration tendencies and shifting share situations. However, related research on Southern Vietnam ICDs in particular and ICDs in Vietnam in general has been extremely limited. Hence, In this study, empirical research is conducted on ICDs located in southern Vietnam from 2010 to 2017. The throughput volume data of ICDs is analyzed by concentration indicators, namely the concentration ratio (CR), the Herfindahl–Hirschman Index (HHI), the Gini coefficient, the Lorenz curve, and the shift share analysis (SSA). The results of adopting all the methodologies indicate that deconcentration was the mainstream trend for ICDs in Southern Vietnam during the period of 2010–2017. The findings provide insights into the process of container terminal development and have academic and managerial implications. The strengthening of the competitiveness of Vietnamese container ports and ICDs could affect the competing Southeast Asian neighbors by facilitating the port of more shipping companies
Ischemic Colitis Presented as Pseudomembranous Colitis: An Untypical Case from Vietnam
Tien Manh Huynh,Quang Dinh Le,Khanh Lan Nguyen Bui,Minh Quang Huynh Bui,Cong Minh Hong Vo,Duc Trong Quach 대한소화기학회 2022 대한소화기학회지 Vol.80 No.2
Ischemic colitis (IC) is an underreported chronic disease characterized by the hypoperfusion of the bowel mucosa. The diagnosis and treatment may be challenging because its clinical course resembles other colitis or even colorectal malignancies. This paper reports an untypical case to underline the diversity of IC manifestation. A 68-year-old man with several comorbidities was admitted because of abdominal pain with a 6-month duration and a mass in the left lower quadrant. Colonoscopy revealed erosive pseudomembranous colitis narrowed colon segments with ulcerated mucosa mimicking colorectal cancer and inflammatory bowel disease. The stool cultures and Clostridium difficile toxin tests were negative. After the failure of conservative therapy, the Hartmann procedure with temporary ileostomy was performed uneventfully. The histological results of the surgical specimens revealed IC with focal pseudomembranous areas.
Mott-Hubbard-Anderson Metal-Insulator Transition in the Falicov-Kimbal Model with Local Disorder
Minh-Tien Tran 한국물리학회 2008 THE JOURNAL OF THE KOREAN PHYSICAL SOCIETY Vol.53 No.6
The statistical dynamical mean field theory is used to study the metal-insulator transition in the two-dimensional Falicov-Kimbal model with local disorder. Within the theory, the local density of states and its distributions are calculated. As a measure of the metal-insulator transition driven by corelation and disorder, the most probable value of the local density of states is determined. The most probable value of the local density of states is found to exhibit a discontinuity when the system croses from extended states to localization. A phase diagram is also presented.
Use of a piezo-composite generating element for harvesting wind energy in an urban region
Tien, Cam Minh Tri,Goo, Nam Seo Emerald Group Publishing Limited 2010 Aircraft engineering and aerospace technology Vol.82 No.6
Purpose - Current technology uses large windmills that operate in remote regions and have complex generating mechanisms such as towers, blades gears, speed controls, magnets, and coils. In a city, wind energy that would otherwise be wasted can be claimed and stored for later use. The purpose of this paper is to introduce a small-scale windmill that can work in urban areas. Design/methodology/approach - The device uses a piezo-composite generating element (PCGE) to generate the electric power. The PCGE is composed of layers of carbon/epoxy, lead zirconate titanate (PZT) ceramic, and glass/epoxy cured at an elevated temperature. Previous work by the authors had proved that the PCGE can produce high performance energy harvesting. Findings - In the prototype, the PCGE performed as a secondary beam element. One end of the PCGE is attached to the frame of the device. Additionally, the fan blade rotates in the direction of the wind and hits the other end of the PCGE. When the PCGE is excited, the effects of the beam's deformation enable it to generate electric power. The power generation and battery charging capabilities of the proposed device were tested, and the results show that the prototype can harvest energy in urban regions using minor wind movement. Originality/value - The paper presents a prototype that uses a PCGE for harvesting wind energy in urban areas. The PCGE has the potential of being used as a generator for harvesting energy from sources such as machine vibration, body motion, wind, and ocean waves. The PCGE design is flexible: the ply orientation and the size of the prepreg layers can be changed. Generating elements with a specific stacking sequence can be used for scavenging energy in a wide range of applications such as network sensors, portable electronics, and microelectromechanical systems.
