      • 경영에서 grab start와 track start의 운동학적 분석

        김연정,이민형,원문학,김헌수 한국운동역학회 2000 한국운동역학회지 Vol.10 No.1

The research has the aim to analyze and find out kinematic features of grab start and track start between male and femail. With having selected 6 swimmers form each for this experiment four video-cameras(60 frames/sec) and control-box(length-2m, width-1m, hight-1m) to get real space coordinates were used. The DLT method was employed to obtain the 3-dimensional coordinates of the 25 body points for digitizing with Kwon3D Motion Analysis Package developed by Kwon, Young-hoo (1993). SPSS was used for statistic process. Kinematic variable were measured in start: The center of mass of body in horizontal and vertical, variation of velocity, entry distance. The following are the results. 1. In change of the body-center, the starting methods of man and women are same in horizontal directions, but in vertical directions the amount of women´s body changement is decreasing ever, while the amount of man´s body changement is increasing continuously with his foot off the start line. The change of the position and velocity in vertical directions is changing with the same tendency in case of starting ways of both man and women, but in vertical directions man´s amount of changement has steep increasing curve, and women´s one has decreasing curve. 2. Horizontal ANOVA analysis of body-center shows that starting method represent not such difference at taking-off moment but significant difference at initial moving point(F=237.016, p<.01). Vertical analysis shows significant difference in gender and starting method(for each F=31.132, p<.01, f=22.591, p<.01)

The anti-platelet activity of panaxadiol fraction and panaxatriol fraction of Korean Red Ginseng in vitro and ex vivo

        Yuan Yee Lee,Yein Oh,Min-Soo Seo,Min-Goo Seo,Jee Eun Han,Kyoo-Tae Kim,Jin-Kyu Park,Sung Dae Kim,Sang-Joon Park,Dongmi Kwak,Man Hee Rhee 고려인삼학회 2023 Journal of Ginseng Research Vol.47 No.5

Background: The anti-platelet activity of the saponin fraction of Korean Red Ginseng has been widelystudied. The saponin fraction consists of the panaxadiol fraction (PDF) and panaxatriol fraction (PTF);however, their anti-platelet activity is yet to be compared. Our study aimed to investigate the potency ofanti-platelet activity of PDF and PTF and to elucidate how well they retain their anti-platelet activity viadifferent administration routes. Methods: For ex vivo studies, Sprague-Dawley rats were orally administered 250 mg/kg PDF and PTF for 7consecutive days before blood collection via cardiac puncture. Platelet aggregation was conducted afterisolation of the washed platelets. For in vitro studies, washed platelets were obtained from Sprague-Dawley rats. Collagen and adenosine diphosphate (ADP) were used to induce platelet aggregation. Collagenwas used as an agonist for assaying adenosine triphosphate release, thromboxane B2, serotonin, cyclic adenosine monophosphate, and cyclic guanosine monophosphate (cGMP) release. Results: When treated ex vivo, PDF not only inhibited ADP and collagen-induced platelet aggregation, but also upregulated cGMP levels and reduced platelet adhesion to fibronectin. Furthermore, it alsoinhibited Akt phosphorylation induced by collagen treatment. Panaxadiol fraction did not exert any antiplateletactivity in vitro, whereas PTF exhibited potent anti-platelet activity, inhibiting ADP, collagen, andthrombin-induced platelet aggregation, but significantly elevated levels of cGMP. Conclusion: Our study showed that in vitro and ex vivo PDF and PTF treatments exhibited differentpotency levels, indicating possible metabolic conversions of ginsenosides, which altered the content ofginsenosides capable of preventing platelet aggregation.

      • A Fast Immune Recognition Model based on Immune Response

Yuan Tao,Min Hu 보안공학연구지원센터 2014 International Journal of Multimedia and Ubiquitous Vol.9 No.11

This paper proposes a fast immune recognition model based on immune response. Inspired by biological immune system, AIS for anomaly detection has been adopted widely because of its analogy with body resistance in the immune system provided against agents which causes diseases. This paper mainly studies correspondence between immune response and anomaly detection. Compared with traditional AIS, the change of antigen type is judged by statistical techniques, which ignores the differences of the different systems. Antibody recognition is initiated by the proposed model only when the type of antigen has changed, which improves the efficiency of the algorithm. Complexity analysis shows the proposed algorithm is a linear algorithm. The usefulness of the proposed model is demonstrated through experiments. The experiments illustrate the availability and feasibility of the model.

Auto-tuning SOS Algorithm for Two-Dimensional Orthogonal Cutting Optimization

        Min-Yuan Cheng,Yi-Cho Fang,Chun-Yao Wang 대한토목학회 2021 KSCE JOURNAL OF CIVIL ENGINEERING Vol.25 No.10

Minimizing the loss of raw materials is an important issue in the construction industry. The construction material often encounters two-dimensional cutting problems such as steel plates and wooden plates. Reducing material waste by using building information modeling (BIM) and artificial intelligence methods has received considerable attention. Thus, this study focused on two-dimensional cutting stock problems (2D-CSP), and employed the auto-tuning Symbiotic Organisms Search algorithm (SOS) to establish residual material optimization model. The results considering the placement strategy with the rotation of the cutting plates, showed that, compared to other heuristic algorithms such as Genetic Algorithm (GA) and Particle Swarm Optimization (PSO), the SOS algorithm obtained superior solutions to the two-dimensional cutting operation. Therefore, the proposed model possesses a certain application value for solving the optimization problem in the construction industry, and helps reducing the material waste and budget cost.

An Efficient Hybrid Differential Evolution based Serial Method for Multimode Resource-Constrained Project Scheduling

        Min-Yuan Cheng,Duc-Hoc Tran 대한토목학회 2016 KSCE Journal of Civil Engineering Vol.20 No.1

The Multimode Resource-Constrained (MRC) problem aims at finding the start times and execution modes for the activities of a project that minimizes project duration under current precedence constraints and resource limitations. This study integrates the fuzzy c-means clustering technique and the chaotic technique into the Differential Evolution to develop the Fuzzy Clustering Chaotic-based Differential Evolution (FCDE) algorithm, an efficient hybrid approach to solving MRC and other related problems. Within the FCDE, the chaos prevents the optimization algorithm from premature convergence and the fuzzy c-means clustering acts as several multi-parent crossover operators for utilizing population information efficiently and enhance convergence efficiency. Further, this study applies a serial method to reflect individual-user priorities into the active schedule and the project duration calculations. Experiments run indicate that the proposed FCDE-MRC obtains optimal results more reliably and efficiently than the benchmark algorithms considered. The FCDE-MRC is a promising alternative methodology to handling resource-constrained problems.

2,5-Hexanedione induces apoptosis via a mitochondriamediated pathway in PC12 cells

        Yuan Qi,Shuang-yue Li,Feng-yuan Piao,Zhe-min Wang,Ruo-lin Chen,Shuang Liu,Jing-shun Shen 대한독성 유전단백체 학회 2015 Molecular & cellular toxicology Vol.11 No.1

2,5-Hexanedione (HD) is the main active metabolite of n-hexane and mediates the neurotoxicity of the parent compound. Studies suggested that apoptosis involved in HD neurotoxicity. However, the mechanism of HD-induced neuronal apoptosis remains unknown. To explore its underlying mechanism, we treated PC12 cells with 5, 10 and 20 mM HD for 24 h, respectively. We found that HD induced apoptotic death in PC12 cells in a dose-dependent manner. Moreover, HD down-regulated Bcl-2 expression, up-regulated Bax expression and Bax/Bcl-2 ratio, promoted the disruption of mitochondrial transmembrane potential, induced the release of cytochrome c from mitochondria, and increased the activity of caspase-3 in PC12 cells, which were all the key regulators of intrinsic apoptotic pathway. These results indicate that HD induces apoptosis via a mitochondria- mediated pathway in PC12 cells.

      • Stability Analysis for Time-Varying Positive Linear Systems with Delays

        Min-Min Zhao,Yuan-Gong Sun 제어로봇시스템학회 2016 제어로봇시스템학회 국제학술대회 논문집 Vol.2016 No.10

This paper is focused on stability analysis for a class of time-varying positive linear systems with delays. Two kind of time-varying delays are taken into consideration. One is the time-varying state delay that can be unbounded. The other is the bounded distributed delay. By using a new method, a state-delay-independent and distribute-delay-dependent criterion for asymptotic stability of the system is established.

Whole RNA-sequencing and gene expression analysis of Trichoderma harzianum Tr-92 under chlamydospore-producing condition

        Min Yuan,Yuanyuan Huang,Zhenhua Jia,Weina Ge,Lan Zhang,Qian Zhao,Shuishan Song,Yali Huang 한국유전학회 2019 Genes & Genomics Vol.41 No.6

Background Trichoderma is one of the most important biocontrol fungi, which could produce mycelia, conidiospores, and chlamydospores three types of propagules under different conditions. Chlamydospores are produced in harsh conditions in various fungi, and may be more resistant to adverse conditions. However, the knowledge associated with the mechanism of chlamydospore formation remained unclear in Trichoderma. Objectives This study is aimed to explore the essential genes and regulatory pathways associated with chlamydospore formation in Trichoderma. Methods The culture condition, survival rate, and biocontrol effects of chlamydospores and conidiospores from Trichoderma. harzianum Tr-92 were determined. Furthermore, the whole transcriptome profiles of T. harzianum Tr-92 under chlamydospore-producing and chlamydospore-nonproducing conditions were performed. Results T. harzianum Tr-92 produced chlamydospores under particular conditions, and chlamydospore-based formulation of T. harzianum Tr-92 exhibited higher biocontrol ability against Botrytis cinerea in cucumber than conidoiospore-based formulation. In the transcriptome analysis, a total of 2,029 differentially expressed genes (DEGs) were identified in T. harzianum Tr-92 under chlamydospore-producing condition, compared to that under chlamydospore-nonproducing condition. GO classification indicated that the DEGs were significantly enriched in 284 terms among biological process, cellular components and molecular function categories. A total of 19 pathways were observed with DEGs by KEGG analysis. Furthermore, fifteen DEGs were verified by quantitative real-time PCR, and the expression profiles were consistent with the transcriptome data. Conclusion The results would provide a basis on the molecular mechanisms underlying Trichoderma sporulation, which would assist the development and application of fungal biocontrol agents.

A Dynamic Hand Gesture Recognition System Incorporating Orientation-based Linear Extrapolation Predictor and Velocity-assisted Longest Common Subsequence Algorithm

( Min Yuan ),( Heng Yao ),( Chuan Qin ),( Ying Tian ) 한국인터넷정보학회 2017 KSII Transactions on Internet and Information Syst Vol.11 No.9

The present paper proposes a novel dynamic system for hand gesture recognition. The approach involved is comprised of three main steps: detection, tracking and recognition. First, the gesture contour captured by a 2D-camera is detected by combining the three-frame difference method and skin-color elliptic boundary model. Then, the trajectory of the hand gesture is extracted via a gesture-tracking algorithm based on an occlusion-direction oriented linear extrapolation predictor, where the gesture coordinate in next frame is predicted by the judgment of current occlusion direction. Finally, to overcome the interference of insignificant trajectory segments, the longest common subsequence (LCS) is employed with the aid of velocity information. Besides, to tackle the subgesture problem, i.e., some gestures may also be a part of others, the most probable gesture category is identified through comparison of the relative LCS length of each gesture, i.e., the proportion between the LCS length and the total length of each template, rather than the length of LCS for each gesture. The gesture dataset for system performance test contains digits ranged from 0 to 9, and experimental results demonstrate the robustness and effectiveness of the proposed approach.

      • TRPC channels as STIM1-regulated SOCs.

        Yuan, Joseph P,Kim, Min Seuk,Zeng, Weizhong,Shin, Dong Min,Huang, Guo,Worley, Paul F,Muallem, Shmuel Landes Bioscience 2009 Channels Vol.3 No.4

<P>Store-operated Ca(2+) channels (SOCs) are Ca(2+) influx channels at the plasma membrane whose opening is determined by the level of Ca(2+) stored in the endoplasmic reticulum lumen. SOCs are activated in response to receptor-mediated or passive depletion of ER Ca(2+) to regulate many Ca(2+)-dependent cellular functions. Early work implicated the TRPC channels as SOCs. More recently, it was found that the Orai channels mediate the CRAC current and that the Ca(2+) binding protein STIM1 functions as the ER Ca(2+) sensor that mediates activation of the SOCs in response to depletion of ER Ca(2+). Key questions are whether both TRPC and Orai channels are opened by STIM1 and the molecular mechanism by which STIM1 opens the SOCs. Ample biochemical and functional evidence indicate interaction of the TRPC channels with STIM1. Furthermore, it was found that STIM1 gates TRPC channels by electrostatic interaction of STIM1(K684,K685) in the polybasic domain of STIM1 with two negative charges (aspartates or glutamates) that are conserved in all TRPC channels. Charge mutants of STIM1(K684,K685) and TRPC1(D639,D640) and TRPC3(D697,D698) were used to develop further direct evidence for the function of TRPC channels as SOCs. The evidence in favor of TRPC channels as SOCs are discussed.</P>
