The purpose of the study was to reveal the client's reliance to the relation of counselor's nonverbal behaviors and client's personality types. The video tapes recording the counselor's nonverbal and verbal behavior showed to the clients by characterrizing internal or external control type questionnaire. Then, Clients evaluated the reliablity to the counselor. Subjects were sampled by the internal-external control questionnaire. This was tested to the 428 undergraduate students. In the test, Upper 30%(internal control group) and lower 30%(exteranl control group) were sampled; Each group was 15 subjects. Data were analyzed with IBM-PC, preprogramed SAS. In the statistical analysis, the control types were followed by two-way ANOVA in the repeated measures. The major findings were that; 1)The reliability score by clients to the client's personality type was not difference. 2)This, however, score was significantly differented to the counselor's nonverbal and verbal behavior. 3)Interaction effect was significant in the client's personality types and counselor's nonverbal and verbal behaviors. In the interaction effect; the main effects was examined. Firstly, internal control type of clients did not different in the nonverbal and verbal behavior. Secondly, external control type showed significant difference in scoring reliability to the counselors; Nonverbal behaviors of the counselor aquired highter reliablility score than verbal behavior only shown. This results that internal control of the clients personality did not effect on the client's reliability perception to the counselor's behavior types. External control, however, was affected by the counselor's nonverbal behavior. Therefore, the external controllers were more susceptible to the counselor's nonverbal behavior than the internal controllers.
장애자녀를 둔 어머니와 비 장애자녀를 둔 어머니 간의 KFD 차이

이 연구는 장애자녀를 둔 어머니와 비 장애자녀를 둔 어머니 간의 가족활동그림(KFD)을 비교한 것이다. KFD에 대한 그림 평가는 세 가지 차원 즉 (1)활동차원, (2)그림특성차원, 그리고 (3)위치, 거리, 장벽차원으로 구분하였다. 본 연구에서는 그림특성차원 중에 그림크기는 별도로 분석하였다. 본 연구 결과 장애자녀를 둔 어머니는 가족구성원의 활동차원을 낮게 평가하였다. 그림특성차원 중에 엄마크기와 자녀크기 차원에서 장애자녀를 둔 어머니는 전반적으로 그림의 크기가 크게 묘사되었다. 특히 장애자녀를 둔 어머니는 자녀를 그릴 때, 비 장애자녀를 둔 어머니에 비해 약 27mm 정도 더 크게 그렸다. 또한 장애자녀를 둔 어머니는 어머니 상을 그릴 때에도 휠씬 크게 그렸다. 비 장애자녀를 둔 어머니는 KFD 그림에서 아빠그림이 제일 크고, 다음에 엄마그림, 자녀순으로 되어있고, 크기 차이가 꽤 분명한 것으로 묘사되었다. 하지만 장애자녀를 둔 어머니는 엄마크기, 아빠크기의 차이가 거의 없고 자녀크기와도 별 차이가 없는 것으로 묘사되었다. 자녀위치에 있어서는 비장애어머니가 장애어머니보다 좀 더 높은 위치에 묘사한 경향성을 보였다. This study was compared the KFD of the mothers of children with disabilities to the KFD of the mothers of children without disabilities. The evaluation of the KFD was divided into three factors which were the activity level, the characteristics of drawing, and the level of the position, the distance and the barrier. The size in the characteristics of drawing was separately analyzed as a dependant variable . The mothers of children with disabilities evaluated the activity level lower than the mothers of children without disabilities. In drawing of their son or daughter, the mothers of children with disabilities drew more bigger than the mothers of children without disabilities. The difference of the size was about 27mm. To compare the size of mother in KFD, it was bigger in the mothers of children with disabilities. The mothers of children without disabilities drew orderly the father, the mother, and the son and daughter in size. In contrast, there was no size difference when the mothers of children with disabilities drew the father and mother in KFD. The mothers of children without disabilities positioned their son and daughter a little higher than the mothers of children with disabilities in a sheet of paper.

The purpose of this study is, to increase the number of and improve environmental quality of kindergartens, to minimize the time and effort required in the design and construction of kindergartens by providing architectural design guidelines(space program and area guideline). The prerequisite condition of this study, in particular, is to provide the standardized design process for designing kindergartens which has merits such as provision of more qualified environment, minimization of the effort required in the design. Through the review of domestic regulations, domestic and foreign guidelines, and on-sight investigation of existing kindergartens, the practical guidelines for space program, areas, elevations and material planning were proposed.
프로토콜 분석을 통한 창의적 디자인 전략으로서의 은유와 유추

The aim of this research is to explore the potential of analogy and metaphor as design strategies for supporting the creative design thinking. For the empirical research on analogical and metaphoric process in designing, we conducted design experiments that consist of three different conditions of given items as stimulation for design inspiration: baseline, surrealist paintings, and housing design collections. The results were analyzed using a protocol analysis in order to obtain more systmatic interpretation of the design processes and strategies. As a result, it was noted that students are more apt to read visual information rather than semantic information in the given items. Instead of the representation of their senses or feelings from the paintings, they visualized the analogical images of the paintings for the design representation. However, analogical and metaphoric thinking derived from the given items seem change a designer’s perspective, thus bring a novel interpretation on design problems, and eventually more creative and meaningful design ideas. An extended research using one-semester training and observation of the design studio process is introduced as a follow-up study for this paper. This research will investigate the long-term effect of the analogy and metaphor on the design thinking.

The aim of this paper is to explore the potential of analogy and metaphor as design strategies for evolving inspiration into design outputs and to discuss how they derive creative solutions for design problems by providing a variety of design thinking. The research method is a literature review that examines the field of design studies associated with analogy and metaphor, which is an initial study for the future empirical research on analogical and metaphoric process in designing. As a result of the literature review, it was noted that analogical thinking could bring a novel interpretation on design problems by changing a designer’s perspective of them. The analogic thinking could connect the analogic sources with the target’s requirements in different situations, from which creative design forms could be derived. In addition, the metaphor could produce more creative and meaningful ideas, thus the role of the metaphoric thinking would be more emphasized in the 21st century of diverse sensibilities and concepts.
