The goal of the study was to see how polymer banknotes affected users’ purchasing intention. Variables affecting the properties of polymer banknotes were considered, including security, ease of use, convenience, and durability. To achieve the study’s main goal, quantitative methods were used, and a questionnaire was created and posted online through Google Forms to collect primary data. The questionnaire was completed by 403 people, and the data was screened and analyzed using SPSS.The study found that using Polymer money influenced people’s behavior, particularly in terms of purchase patterns, decisions, and impulsive behavior toward purchases. This was attributed to the security and simplicity of using Polymer money, which appealed to many people. Furthermore, the study found that people lost their feeling of spending, meaning that using polymer money didn’t feel like spending to them, effectively eliminating the moral guilt associated with excessive spending and encouraging more impulsive buying decisions.Based on the findings, the study recommends that a study be conducted to compare the use of Polymer money with tiny and large banknotes to see what kind of difference there is.
Experimental and numerical study on the PSSDB system as two-way floor units
Marwan S. Al-Shaikhli,Wan Hamidon Wan Badaruzzaman,Ahmed W. Al-Zand 국제구조공학회 2022 Steel and Composite Structures, An International J Vol.42 No.1
This paper researches a lightweight composite structure referred to as the Profiled Steel Sheeting Dry Board (PSSDB). It is fundamentally produced by connecting a Profiled Steel Sheeting to Dry Board using mechanical screws. It is mainly employed as floor panels. However, almost all studies have focused on researching the one-way structural performance. Therefore, this study focuses on the bending behaviour of the two-way PSSDB floor system using both of Finite Element (FE) and Experimental analysis. Four panels were used in the experimental tests, and a mild steel plate has been applied at the bottom for two panels. For the FE process, models were created using ABAQUS software. 4 parametric studies have been utilized to understand the system’s influential elements. From the experimental tests, it was found that using Steel Plate shall optimize the two-way action of the system and depending on the type of dry board the improvement in stiffness may reach up to 38%. It was shown from the FE analysis that the dry board, profiled steel sheeting and steel plat can affect the system by up to 10 %, 17% and 3% respectively, while applying a uniform load demonstrate a better two-way action.

The structural integrity of tube bundles represents a major concern when dealing with high risk industries, such as nuclear steam generators, where the rupture of a tube or tubes will lead to the undesired mixing of the primary and secondary fluids. Flow-induced vibration is one of the major concerns that could compromise the structural integrity. The vibration is caused by fluid flow excitation. While there are several excitation mechanisms that could contribute to these vibrations, fluidelastic instability is generally regarded as the most severe. When this mechanism prevails, it could cause serious damage to tube arrays in a very short period of time. The tubes are therefore stiffened by means of supports to avoid these vibrations. To accommodate the thermal expansion of the tube, as well as to facilitate the installation of these tube bundles, clearances are allowed between the tubes and their supports. Progressive tube wear and chemical cleaning gradually increases the clearances between the tubes and their supports, which can lead to more frequent and severe tube/support impact and rubbing. These increased impacts can lead to tube damage due to fatigue and/or wear at the support locations. This paper presents simulations of a loosely supported multi-span U- bend tube subjected to turbulence and fluidelastic instability forces. The mathematical model for the loosely-supported tubes and the fluidelastic instability model is presented. The model is then utilized to simulate the nonlinear response of a U-bend tube with flat bar supports subjected to cross-flow. The effect of the support clearance as well as the support offset are investigated. Special attention is given to the tube/support interaction parameters that affect wear, such as impact and normal work rate.

With the global rise of digital data, the uncontrolled quantity of data is susceptible to cyber warfare or cyber attacks. Therefore, it is necessary to improve cyber security systems. This research studies the behavior of malicious acts and uses Higuchi Fractal Dimension (HFD), which is a non-linear mathematical method to examine the intricacy of the behavior of these malicious acts and anomalies within the cyber physical system. The HFD algorithm was tested successfully using synthetic time series network data and validated on real-time network data, producing accurate results. It was found that the highest fractal dimension value was computed from the DoS attack time series data. Furthermore, the difference in the HFD values between the DoS attack data and the normal traffic data was the highest. The malicious network data and the non-malicious network data were successfully classified using the Receiver Operating Characteristics (ROC) method in conjunction with a scaling stationary index that helps to boost the ROC technique in classifying normal and malicious traffic. Hence, the suggested methodology may be utilized to rapidly detect the existence of abnormalities in traffic with the aim of further using other methods of cyber-attack detection.

We Study, firstly, the dynamics of the difference equation $x_{n+1}\;=\;{\alpha}\;+\;{\frac{x^p_n}{x^p_{n-1}}}$, with $p\;{\in}\;(0,\;1)\;and\;{\alpha}\;{\in}\;[0,\;{\infty})$. Then, we generalize our results to the (k + 1)th order difference equation $x_{n+1}\;=\;{\alpha}\;+\;{\frac{x^p_n}{nx^p_{n-k}}$, $k\;=\;2,\;3,\;{\cdots}$ with positive initial conditions.

This paper present stabilization control of fixed speed wind generator by using variable speed permanent magnet wind generator in a wind farm connected with multi-machine power system. A novel direct-current based d-q vector control technique of back to back converter integrated with Fuzzy Logic Controller for optimal control configuration is proposed, in which both active and reactive powers delivered to a power grid system are controlled effectively. Simulation analyses have been performed using PSCAD/EMTDC. Simulation results show that the proposed control scheme is very effective to enhance the voltage stability of the wind farm during fault condition.
