Recently, Phase Transfer Catalyzed Organic Synthesis is studied intensely. The Reactions of benzyl chloride with various alcohols (Et, n-Pr, iso-Pr, n-Bu, iso-Bu, sec-Bu, tet-Bu, Ph, Bz-OH) were investigated under Phase Trasfer Catalysis in this research. Benzyltrietylammonium chloride(B.T.E.A.C), dodecyltrietylammonium bromide(L.T.E.A.B) and tetrabutylammonium chloride(T.B.A.C) were used as Phase Transfer Catalyst. The Optimum Conditions between benzyl chloride and varios alcohols were studied in the presence of T.B.A.C which proved to be most effective among catalysts tested. Optimized conditions were as following. The molar ratio between benzyl chloride and tertiary butanol was 1:3. The amount of catalyst was 1.08mmol. And the amount of 50% NaOH aqueous solution was 7g. Under optimized conditions, it has been observed that benzyltet-alkyl ether, benzylphenyl ether and dibenzyl ether can be obtained in good yield over 80%, benzyliso-alkyl ether in about 50%, benzyln-alkyl ether only in less than 20%. The tendency of yield in various alcohols was increased Et<Pr<Bu<Bz<Ph-OH. And the tendency of yield in isomeric alcohols was increased primary<secondary<tertiary alcohol.

This study was performed to establish the cephalometric standards and growth change of Korean teen-age group by Ricketts analysis. A roentgenocephalometric study was from 365 subjects, that consist of 159 males, 206 females with normal occlusion, acceptable profile and no history of orthodontic and prosthodontic treatment. The results were as follows: 1. The tables of means, standard deviation from measured values were made, (male, female, both sex). 2. The tables of regression equations from measured values were made to establish the relation-ship between age and each item. (male, female, both sex). 3. All linear measurements of each item in male were greater than in females. 4. Items which show more linear than any other items were condyle axis, facial axis length, corpus length and upper molar position.

Soil are mostly sandy and it has a little clay below 10%. In the fine sand fraction, quartz, plagioclase and alkali-feldspar are dominant in almost all samples. Small amounts of altered-feldspar, muscovite, biotite, hornblende and plant opal are present in some samples. They are mainly derived from weathering prodructs df granite, granodiorite and arkose or is mixture. The clay minerals are mainly expanding or nonexpanding 14A˚minerals, illite and kaolin minerals. Nonexpanding 14A˚minerals seems to be dioctahedral vermicurite which sandwiches gibbsite or chlorite.

이 연구의 목적은 관계 마케팅에 있어 지각된 서비스 공정성의 결정적인 역할에 대해 이해하고자 하는 것이다. 본 연구는 서비스 공정성과 관계 마케팅 변수들(관계품질과 고객만족)의 관계, 그리고 고객만족과 관계품질의 연결에 대해 검증하였다. 자료는 대구에 소재한 멤버십 할인매장을 방문한 고객들 중 250명을 분석의 대상으로 하였고, 다중 회귀분석은 만족스러운 모델 적합도를 보여주었다. 제안된 가설들 중 6개의 가설이 통계적으로 지지되었다. 검증 결과 서비스 공정성은 고객만족과 관계품질에 모두 유의한 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났으나, 분배공정성은 관계품질에 유의한 영향을 미치지 않는 것으로 나타났다.

The purpose of this study was to investigate the relationship between surface hydrophilicity and detail reproducibility of die stone for hydrophilic polyvinyl siloxane impression materials modified with nonionic surfactants. Hydrophilic polyvinyl siloxane impression materials were prepared with a polydimethylsiloxane composition and nonionic surfactants. The surfactants used were nonylphenoxy poly(ethyleneoxy) ethanol homologs of varying ethyleneoxy chain length. These homologs are designated NP4, NP6, and NPIO according to the mole number of ethyleneoxy group of 4, 6, and 10, respectively. The contact angle, consistency, and detail reproducibility for hydrophilic polyvinyl siloxane impression materials were tested. The incorporation of nonionic surfactant into polyvinyl siloxanes enhanced their hydrophilicity and consequently led to significant reduction in contact angles. Significant differences in contact angle were found among the samples (P < 0.05). The contact angle was lowest when NP4 was incorporated even though NP4 is less hydrophilic than NP6 and P1O. This implies that the exposed surfactant concentration on the surface was highest when NP4 was used. The consistency of surfactant-modified silicone impression materials were not affected by the type of surfactants used in this study. However, NP4-modified polyvinyl siloxane impression material showed the highest quality reproduction of the thinnest line, indicating highest wettability with gypsum among the samples. In conclusion, the surface concentration of surfactant on the silicone impression material was a crucial factor in determining wettability. The suface hydrophilicity of surfactant-modified silicone impression materials was of major relevance to the detail reproduction of die stone.

The impact of the CYP2C19*17 polymorphism on the clinical outcome in Asians undergoing percutaneous coronary intervention (PCI) is unknown. We sought to assess the long-term impact of CYP2C19*17 on the risk for adverse clinical events in 2188 Korean patients taking clopidogrel after PCI. The prevalence of the CYP2C19*17 allele [*wt/*17: 2.4% (n=53), *17/*17: 0%] was very low. The 2-year cumulative event rates for bleeding [*wt/*17 vs. *wt/*wt: 2 vs. 2.3%; adjusted hazard ratio (HR), 1.23; 95% confidence interval (CI), 0.16–9.45], stent thrombosis (2 vs. 1.1%; HR, 3.98; 95% CI, 0.49–31.6) or composite of any death, and myocardial infarction or stroke (5.4 vs. 7.1%; HR, 1.37; 95% CI, 0.32–5.73) did not differ on the basis of the presence of CYP2C19*17. In conclusion, in our study population of Asian patients, the CYP2C19*17 polymorphism was not associated with adverse clinical outcomes after PCI because of its low prevalence, the rarity of homozygotes, and the relatively low rate of adverse clinical events.
