The leafhopper Cicadella viridis (Hemiptera: Cicadellidae), a sap-sucking insect, is a notorious pest of fruit trees and seedlings. They harbor “Candidatus sulcia merii” which is an obligatory symbiotic bacteriumhoused in a special organ called the bacteriome. In this study universal eubacterial primers 27F and 1513R were used to amplify approximately 1462 bp of symbiotic bacteria 16S rRNA gene fromC. viridis. Cloning, sequencing, and phylogenetic analysis targeting the 16S rRNA gene revealed the presence of bacteria stably associated with C. viridis, and a Rickettsia endosymbiont was detected for the first time in this species. Rickettsia endosymbiont localization was studied using quantitative PCR which showed that it was found in all developmental stages. It was also co-localized in the bacteriomes, ovaries, testes, guts, and salivary glands. By an antibiotic treatment, the antibiotic-treated insects exhibited lower Rickettsia infection density than the untreated

The paper is concerned with the problem of H∞ control for stochastic time-delayed Markovian switchingsystems with partly known transition rates and input saturation. By employing more appropriate Lyapunov-Krasovskii functional, a state feedback controller is designed to guarantee stochastic stability of the correspondingclosed-loop system with H∞ performance. A linear matrix inequality approach is employed to obtain the controllergain matrix. Two illustrative examples are provided to show the potential of the proposed techniques.

Background: To investigate the effects of preemptive analgesia with parecoxib sodium on haemodynamics and plasma stress hormones in surgical patients with thyroid carcinoma. Materials and Methods: Fifty-seven patients with thyroid carcinoma who underwent thyroidectomy selectively in Laiwu Hospital Affiliated to Taishan Medical University and Binzhou People's Hospital were selected and randomly divided into three groups, 19 cases in each group. The control group was intravenously injected 0.9% sodium chloride injection before anesthesia induction; trial group I was intravenously injected with parecoxib sodium 20 min before anesthesia induction; based on trial group I, trial group II was injected with parecoxib sodium again 12 h after surgery. The levels of plasma norepinephrine (NE), cortisol (Cor) and blood glucose before, 12 and 24 h after surgery and changes of haemodynamics before surgery, at the end of surgery and 12, 24 and 48 h after surgery were compared in the three groups. Besides, visual analogue scale (VAS) scores were recorded 4, 8, 12 and 24 h after surgery. Results: 12 and 24 h after surgery, the levels of plasma NE and Cor in three groups rose dramatically (P<0.05 or (P<0.01); The levels of plasma NE and Cor in trial groups I and II were evidently lower than in control group (P<0.05 or P<0.01), and those in trial group II slightly lower than in trial group I. 12 h after surgery, the heart rates (HR) and systolic pressures (SBP) in trial groups I and II increased obviously by comparison to surgery before (P<0.05 or P<0.01), but gradually returned to the preoperative level. HR, SBP and diastolic pressures (DBP) in trial groups I and II at the end of surgery and 12 h after surgery were all lower than in the control group, and significant differences were present (P<0.05 or (P<0.01). At 4, 8, 12 and 24 h after surgery, VAS scores in trial groups I and II were markedly lower than in the control group (P<0.05 or (P<0.01), the scores in trial group II being the lowest. Conclusions: Combined application of parecoxib sodium for preemptive analgesia before anesthesia and after surgery can effectively reduce the levels of plasma stress hormones and improve analgesic effects in surgical patients with thyroid carcinoma, and without conspicuous impact on haemodynamics.

A robust low complexity model predictive control (MPC) scheme, referred to as robust one-step control, is proposed for constrained piecewise affine (PWA) systems with bounded disturbances. First, the maximal robust stabilizable set is added into the MPC formulation to guarantee the robust feasibility and low complexity. Second, the robust stability is analyzed via linear matrix inequalities (LMI). Extensive numerical examples illustrate the low complexity of the proposed robust one-step control.
SETS AND VALUE SHARING OF q-DIFFERENCES OF MEROMORPHIC FUNCTIONS
Qi, Xiao-Guang,Yang, Lian-Zhong Korean Mathematical Society 2013 대한수학회보 Vol.50 No.3
In this paper, we investigate uniqueness problems of certain types of $q$-difference polynomials, which improve some results in [20]. However, our proof is different from that in [20]. Moreover, we obtain a uniqueness result in the case where $q$-differences of two entire functions share values as well. This research also shows that there exist two sets, such that for a zero-order non-constant meromorphic function $f$ and a non-zero complex constant $q$, $E(S_j,f)=E(S_j,{\Delta}_qf)$ for $j=1,2$ imply $f(z)=t{\Delta}_qf$, where $t^n=1$. This gives a partial answer to a question of Gross concerning a zero order meromorphic function $f(z)$ and $t{\Delta}_qf$.

Qi, Feng,Zhao, Jiao-Lian Korean Mathematical Society 2018 대한수학회보 Vol.55 No.6
In the paper, the authors find a common solution to three series of differential equations related to the generating function of the Bernoulli numbers of the second kind and present a recurrence relation, an explicit formula in terms of the Stirling numbers of the first kind, and a determinantal expression for the Bernoulli numbers of the second kind.
THE TECHNIQUES OF 16 QASK TRELLIS CODED MODULATION
Lian, Li Zheng,Yun, Qi Guang,Qing, Liu Ning 대한전자공학회 1992 HICEC:Harbin International Conference on Electroni Vol.1 No.1
The study of the technique of 16QASK TCM modulation is based on the theory of trellis coding presented by G. Ungerboeck. The research demonstrates that the modulation with trellis coding may obtain 5-6 db coding gains in comparison With the conventional modulation. At last, a thought of enpanded twice channel singnals sets is suggested, and the application prospect is elaborated in this paper.
Quenched Fano effect due to one Majorana zero mode coupled to the Fano interferometer
Qi Wang,Yu-Lian Zhu 한국물리학회 2018 Current Applied Physics Vol.18 No.11
We investigate the change of the Fano effect by considering one Majorana zero mode to couple laterally to the single-dot Fano interferometer. It is found that the Majorana zero mode quenches the Fano effect thoroughly and causes the conductance to be independent of the dot level, the dot-lead coupling, and the increase of the Majorana-dot coupling. As a result, the linear conductance becomes only related to the interlead coupling and the magnetic-flux phase factor. These results can be helpful for the detection of Majorana zero mode.
