      • Development of a portable heavy-water leak sensor based on laser absorption spectroscopy

        A compact and portable leak sensor based on cavity enhanced absorption spectroscopy has been newly developed for a detection of heavy water leakage which may happen in the facilities using heavy water such as pressurized heavy water reactor (PHWR). The developed portable sensor is suitable as an individual instrument for the measuring leak rate and finding the leak location because it is sufficiently compact in size and weight and operated by using an internal battery. In the performance test, the minimum detectable leak rate was estimated as 0.05g/day from the calibration curve. This new sensor is expected to be a reliable and promising device for the detection of heavy water leakage since it has advantages on real-time monitoring and early detection for nuclear safety.

        A Modified Procedure (One-stage Fermentation) for Evaluating Flour Cracker : making Potential

        Cracker products are popular around the world, however there is no standard baking procedure for screening a flours potential for cracker-baking quality. Traditional published procedures involve two fermentation stages, making the evaluation of flour samples a time-consuming process. This study reports a modified procedure (one-stage fermentation) and compares it with a two-stage fermentation procedure for discriminating among flours for making crackers. A wide range of wheat flour samples (19) were used in this study and a set of cracker qualities identified (i.e., weight, moisture, dimension and texture). Results showed that both procedures could discriminate among flours for cracker-making quality. Though differences were found between the two procedures for some measured cracker quality parameters, similar trends among tested flour samples were observed. With one operator, about 15 flour samples could be evaluated for cracker-making potential in a 48 hr period using the modified procedure, as compared to about 6 samples in the same time period when using the two-stage fermentation procedure.

      • Low-Voltage Atmospheric-Plasma Generation by Utilizing Afterglow Initiation Carrier

        <P>Low-voltage atmospheric-plasma generation is reported, in which the breakdown voltage is significantly reduced by utilizing afterglow ions generated on integrated electrodes. Using micromachining techniques, a microanode and two microcathodes were integrated on a glass substrate. Atmospheric glow discharge was first generated in the narrow gap of 10 μm, and the resulting afterglow ions were utilized as an initiation carrier in a subsequent discharge induced in the wide gap of 270 μm. In the presence of the initiation carrier, the atmospheric glow discharge was generated at a substantially low voltage. The feasibility of the proposed generation scheme as an efficient compact plasma source is also evaluated.</P>

        전라북도 관광체험 가치의 상향화 전략을 위한 러브마크 모니터링 항목도출

        본 연구의 목적은 러브마크의 이론을 전라북도라는 권역단위의 관광목적지에 적용하여 관광체험이나 관광브랜드를 존경과 사랑을 받는 러브마크의 수준으로 끌어들이는데 필요한 모니터링과 평가, 전략도출의 근거를 제시하는 것이다. 최근 비즈니스의 주요 변동 방향은 정보의 경제에서 체험의 경제로 전환되고 있다. 소비자들은 인터넷을 통한 정보 획득 능력이 크게 향상되어 전통적인 수단으로는 더 이상 소비자를 유인하지 못하게 되었다. 방문객이나 소비자의 마음을 헤아리지 못하는 식상하고 구시대적인 선택속성이나 선택요인에 대한 연구만으로는 추가적이고 폭발적인 관광수요를 창출해 낼 수 없다. 감성소비의 시대에 걸 맞는 러브마크 전략이 도입되어야 지방관광의 시대에서 살아남을 수 있고 경쟁력을 갖출 수 있게 될 것이다. 따라서 본 연구에서는 개념적 정의를 바탕으로 러브마크의 개념을 종합적으로 정리했으며, 관광 러브마크로의 여정에서 잠재력은 매우 크지만 이제 시작단계에 있는 전라북도를 대상으로 그 체험가치를 평가하는 틀을 러브마크의 이론을 적용하여 도출하고자 수행되었다. The object of this study is to suggest the foundation of monitoring, evaluation and strategy generation that required to improve experience and brand of tourism to the level of lovemark with respect and love through applying lovemark theories to tourist destination of Chon-Buk Province. The major direction of business is recently changing from informational economy to experiential economy. It is not able to attract customers by traditional measures due to the improved ability of information acquisition with internet development. Without consideration for tourists and customers, additional tourism demand can`t not be created by only old-fashioned choice attributes or researches for selection factors. Competitive power can be endowed through introducing lovemark strategies well-matched with the era of emotional consumption. In consequence, the concept of lovemark was comprehensively analyzed based on conceptual definition. Additionally, evaluation form for experience value was induced by theoretical application with the beginning stage of Chon-Buk Province where potential energy is sufficient.

      • 정보과학영재를 위한 사물인터넷 사사교육프로그램 개발 및 적용

        최근 아마존 에코, 구글 홈, 누구, 기가지니, 클로바, 카카오 미니와 같은 인공지능 스피커가 잇달아 출시되고 인기를 얻고 있다. 다양한 인공지능 스피커 광고에서 사물인터넷을 적용하여 집안에 있는 가정용 가전들을 음성으로 제어하는 모습을 보여준다. 사물인터넷은 각종 사물에 센서와 통신 기능을 내장하여 인터넷에 연결하는 기술을 의미한다. 이 사물인터넷의 국내외 시장은 2019년까지 1.7조 달러 규모로 성장할 전망이다. 국내 사물인터넷 시장 규모도 2015년 4,7조원에서 2020년에는 17조원까지 성장이 예상된다[1]. 분야별 매출액 추이를 살펴보면 디바이스 분야가 전체 매출액에서 절반이상을 차지하고 있다. 정보과학영재는 IT기술 변화에 민감하게 반응해야한다. 따라서 본 영재교육 프로그램에서는 사물인터넷의 원리를 탐색하고, 실생활의 문제를 해결할 수 있는 사물인터넷을 직접 구현해 사물인터넷 디바이스를 개발하는 것을 목표로 한다. 더 나아가 사물인터넷 센서 등에서 얻은 데이터를 데이터베이스화시킨다면 향후 빅데이터로 활용 가능할 것으로 예상된다. 따라서 본 연구에서는 정보과학영재를 위한 사물인터넷 사사교육 프로그램을 개발하고 중학교 정보과학영재 학생들에게 적용하여 정보과학영재학생들에게 미치는 영향을 검증하고자 한다.

        In the transmission of electrical power from one place to another, economy of operation is the most essential, It is possible to use a transformer to increase a.c. to high voltage and a low current. Recently, according to the use of electrical energy increases, the loss ignited by electrical also causes increases too. Deterioration diagnosis and the efficient running(or control management) of the oil-filled pole transformer. Electric energy consumption increases by 15∼20% every year. So lots of pole transformers should be installed for electric power demand. The life time of the pole transformer is effected by the oil temperature, In this paper, self temperature test method is designed and presented for more effective management of the pole transformer in on urban area.

        We proposed an ultra low speed control or the SLIM(Sing1e-sided Linear Induction Motor) for a conveyance system using decoupled thrust control. The voltage equations of SLIM are expressed on the suitable α-β axis by the proposed equivalent circuit, which can analyze the characteristics thrust and normal force and so on. These control methods, which include the slip angular frequency control and the decoupling control for the thrust and normal force by analyzing these parameters, and can be successfully driven without interfering with each axis. These results exemplify the linear drive of SLIM with the reference value.

        백선(Dyctamnus dasycarpus)복용 후 발생한 간 손상 2예

        Although drug induced liver injury caused by herbal medicine is considered to be a frequent problem in Korea, there are only a few reports concerning the hepatotoxicity of herbal medicine. We recently experienced two cases of drug induced liver injury caused by ingestion of Dyctamnus dasycarpus, and one of herbal drug used for antipyretic and analgesic purposes. The first patient, a 48 year old man, was admitted due to jaundice after ingestion of the liquor containing Dyctamnus dasycarpus and some other herbal medications for 4 months. All viral markers were negative on admission, and the elevated bilirubin and transamiase levels normalized 5 months later after cessation of all herbal medications. Ten months after the first admission, he ingested only the liquor containing Dyctamnus dasycarpus, with lesser duration and amount, and was readmitted due to general weakness and fatigue and elevated transaminase ($gt;1,000 IU/L). The elevated transaminase level nearly returned to normal after discontinuing the causative agent. The second patient, a 62 year old man, was admitted due to jaundice after ingestion of Dyctamnus dasycarpus. The elevated bilirubin and transamiase levels normalized 4 months later after cessation of the causative agent. Dyctamnus dasycarpus induced liver injury presents with prolonged course lasting more than several weeks to months. Herbal drug induced liver disease should be considered in differential diagnosis of acute liver injury of unknown cause in Korea and we are also suggesting the necessity of a systematic approach for the study of the herbal drugs.

      • 최적 멤버쉽함수에 의한 Servo System의 Fuzzy 제어

        A servo system requires faster and more accurate dynamic responses. Generally a PD control is used primarily to obtain precision. On the other hand. a fuzzy control improves the transient response and copes with the nonlinearity of systems. Recently hybrid control, which attempts to combine the advantages of PD control and the Fuzzy control was proposed, but this technique requires complicated design procedures. Therefore in this paper, designed on the Fuzzy controller with a various series rules, the width of the optimal membership functions. Also it was shown to have excellent adaptive performances against disturbances and the usefulness of this controller was shown from the results of simulations.
