Tandem organic light-emitting diodes (OLEDs) with the buffer-modified fullerene/copper phthalocyanine (LiF/C60/CuPc/MoO3) as interconnector have been investigated. The properties of tandem OLEDs are dependent on electric field, which is induced by electric-field-dependence of charge generation (by electric filed and photons) and separation in such an interconnector structure. At low electric field, because of less generated-charges and light-absorption of C60/CuPc film, current efficiency and brightness of tandem OLEDs with two emissive units exhibit less than twice higher than those of conventional single-unit device. But more than twofold enhancement of current efficiency and brightness is observed at higher electric field due to a large number of charges generated in the interconnector. Meanwhile, the performance of tandem devices is affected by the thickness of C60 and CuPc. The optimal thickness is related to their exciton diffusion length.

Zhongxue Lü,Zuhan Liu 한국전산응용수학회 2011 Journal of applied mathematics & informatics Vol.29 No.3
In this paper, we establish a sharp condition of global existence for the solution of the Gross-Pitaevskii equation with an angular momentum rotational term. This condition is related to the ground state solution of some steady-state nonlinear Schrodinger equation.
ELECTRONICALLY CROSS-LINKED PbS QUANTUM DOT NETWORKS USING POLYMERS AS SURFACE LIGANDS
WEI LÜ,YUE YANG,AKIRA YAMAKATA,ITARU KAMIYA 성균관대학교(자연과학캠퍼스) 성균나노과학기술원 2013 NANO Vol.8 No.2
Bilayer structures of colloidal PbS quantum dots (QDs) with different sizes are fabricated by two methods: chemical bond anchoring and electrostatic adsorption. Unlike the sample prepared by chemical bond anchoring, we find that the electronic connection between different layers is suppressed in the samples prepared by electrostatic adsorption with charged polyelectrolytes. To clarify the electronic coupling between the QDs and the polyelectrolytes, QDs directly stabilized by charged polyelectrolytes were synthesized. Transmission electron microscopy investigation shows that cross-linked QD networks are formed. Time-resolved photoluminescence measurements indicate that the carrier lifetimes of QDs in networks were greatly reduced. The photoluminescence peak energy increases with a third root of the excitation power. All these observations can be consistently explained considering spatially separated photoexcited carriers in a type-II band alignment. The abnormal behaviors of electrostatic adsorption sample are discussed based on these results.

A series of small molecular organic light-emitting diodes (OLEDs) based on tris (8-hydroxyquinoline)aluminum (Alq_3) was fabricated by varying thicknesses and positions of cesium chloride (CsCl) layer inside Alq_3 layer. Both luminance and efficiency are enhanced due to the improvement of electron injection when a CsCl layer was deposited between Alq3 and aluminum (Al). For the insertion of the CsCl layer at the 10 nm position inside Alq3 layer away from Al cathode, the enhanced current density and luminance are attributed to the reaction between diffused Al and Cs. And the efficiency and luminance are enhanced due to the trap sites induced by the CsCl layer at the distance of 20 and 30 nm away from the Al cathode. The current density and luminance of devices, in which various thicknesses of CsCl layer was inserted at 20 nm position inside Alq3 layer away from the Al cathode, is affected by both hole trapped and insulating layer effects.
Post-natal parental care in a Cretaceous diapsid from northeastern China
Junchang Lü,Yoshitsugu Kobayashi,D. Charles Deeming,Yongqing Liu 한국지질과학협의회 2015 Geosciences Journal Vol.19 No.2
Post-natal parental care seems to have evolved numerous times in vertebrates. Among extant amniotes, it is present in crocodilians, birds, and mammals. However, evidence of this behavior is extremely rare in the fossil record and is only reported for two types of dinosaurs, and a varanopid ‘pelycosaur’. Here we report new evidence for post-natal parental care in Philydrosaurus, a choristodere, from the Yixian Formation of western Liaoning Province, China. We review the fossil record of reproduction in choristoderes, and this represents the oldest record of post-natal parental care in diapsids to our knowledge.
Theoretical Study on Interactions between N-Butylpyridinium Nitrate and Thiophenic Compounds
Renqing Lü,Dong Liu,Shutao Wang,Yukun Lu 대한화학회 2013 Bulletin of the Korean Chemical Society Vol.34 No.6
By using density functional theory calculations, we have performed a systemic study on the electronic structures and topological properties of interactions between N-butylpyridinium nitrate ([BPY]+[NO3]−) and thiophene (TS), benzothiophene (BT), dibenzothiophene (DBT), naphthalene (NAP). The most stable structure of [BPY]+[NO3]− ion pair indicates that hydrogen bonding interactions between oxygen atoms on [NO3]− anion and C2-H2 on pyridinium ring play a dominating role in the formation of ion pair. The occurrence of hydrogen bonding, π···H-C, and π···π interactions between [BPY]+[NO3]− and TS, BT, DBT, NAP has been corroborated at the molecular level. But hydrogen bonding and π···π interactions between [BPY]+[NO3]− and NAP are weak in terms of structural properties and NBO, AIM analyses. DBT is prior to adsorption on N-butylpyridinium nitrate ionic liquid.
Ultrasonic Vibration and Rheocasting for Refinement of Mg–Zn–Y Alloy Reinforced with LPSO Structure
Shulin Lü,Xiong Yang,Liangyan Hao,Shusen Wu,Xiaogang Fang,Jing Wang 대한금속·재료학회 2018 METALS AND MATERIALS International Vol.24 No.6
In this work, ultrasonic vibration (UV) and rheo-squeeze casting was first applied on the Mg alloy reinforced with long periodstacking ordered (LPSO) structure. The semisolid slurry of Mg–Zn–Y alloy was prepared by UV and processed by rheosqueezecasting in succession. The effects of UV, Zr addition and squeeze pressure on microstructure of semisolid Mg–Zn–Yalloy were studied. The results revealed that the synergic effect of UV and Zr addition generated a finer microstructure thaneither one alone when preparing the slurries. Rheo-squeeze casting could significantly refine the LPSO structure and α-Mgmatrix in Mg96.9Zn1Y2Zr0.1alloy without changing the phase compositions or the type of LPSO structure. When the squeezepressure increased from 0 to 400 MPa, the block LPSO structure was completely eliminated and the average thickness ofLPSO structure decreased from 9.8 to 4.3 μm. Under 400 MPa squeeze pressure, the tensile strength and elongation of therheocast Mg96.9Zn1Y2Zr0.1alloy reached the maximum values, which were 234 MPa and 17.6%, respectively, due to its fineα-Mg matrix (α1-Mg and α2-Mg grains) and LPSO structure.
MODEL-BASED OPTIMIZATION OF PARAMETERS FOR A DIESEL ENGINE SCR SYSTEM
L. LÜ,L. WANG 한국자동차공학회 2013 International journal of automotive technology Vol.14 No.1
A Selective Catalytic Reduction (SCR) system simulation model for diesel engines was established based on MATLAB/Simulink. The model includes four subsystems: signal acquisition, DEF (Diesel Exhaust Fluid) dosing control, catalytic chemistry reaction and NOX emissions reduction. The SCR control strategy was optimized based on ETC simulation results. Simulation and test results indicate that the model developed in this paper can predict ETC NOX emissions accurately.

Lei Lü,Kangzhen Xu,Hang Zhang,Gang Wang,Jie Huang,Bozhou Wang,Fengqi Zhao 대한화학회 2012 Bulletin of the Korean Chemical Society Vol.33 No.7
A high-nitrogen energetic salt, 1-amino-1-hydrazino-2,2-dinitroethylene guanidine salt [G(AHDNE)], was synthesized by reacting of 1-amino-1-hydrazino-2,2-dinitroethylene (AHDNE) and guanidine hydrochloride in sodium hydroxide aqueous solution. The theoretical investigation on G(AHDNE) was carried out by B3LYP/ 6-311+G* method. The thermal behaviors of G(AHDNE) were studied with DSC and TG-DTG methods, and the result presents an intense exothermic decomposition process. The enthalpy, apparent activation energy and pre-exponential constant of the process are −1060 J g−1, 148.7 kJ mol−1 and 1015.90 s−1, respectively. The critical temperature of thermal explosion of G(AHDNE) is 152.63 °C. The specific heat capacity of G(AHDNE) was studied with micro-DSC method and theoretical calculation method, and the molar heat capacity is 314.69 J mol−1 K−1 at 298.15 K. Adiabatic time-to-explosion of G(AHDNE) was calculated to be a certain value between 60-72 s. The detonation velocity and detonation pressure were also estimated. G(AHDNE) presents good performances.
Oxidation behavior and mechanism of oxidation of Si3N4/ TiC micro-nanocomposite ceramic materials
Zhijie Lü 한양대학교 세라믹연구소 2017 Journal of Ceramic Processing Research Vol.18 No.6
Oxidation behavior of hot-pressed Si3N4/TiC micro-nanocomposite ceramic materials with Al2O3 and Y2O3 as sinteringadditives was investigated at a dry air temperature of 800-1250 oC. The experimental study included analyses of oxidationbehavior and mechanism. The results show that the relationship between oxidation mass gain and oxidation time is parabolic, where gains in the oxidation mass increase with the growth of TiC content. The surface layer composition of materials afteroxidation was investigated with X-ray diffraction. The oxide layer is composed mainly of SiO2 and TiO2, and a small amountof Si3N4 or TiC phase can be found on the oxidation surface layer, thereby implying that the surface layer is significantlycovered with oxides after oxidation at 1250 oC for 100 hrs. Scanning electron microscopy (SEM) reveals that the oxidationbehavior results in a large number of microcracks and holes in the oxide layer.
