Two new records of the genus Nola Leach, 1815 (Lepidoptera: Nolidae, Nolinae) from Laos

The genus Nola (Nolidae, Nolinae) was established by Leach (1815), with the Noctua palliola Denis & Schiffermüller, 1775 (a junior subjective synonym of Phalaena cucullatella Linnaeus, 1758) from Vienna, Austria. Nola comprises over 200 species: Africa and western Palearctic approximately described 100 speices (Hacker et al., 2012); Oriental and Eastern Palearctic regions have over 100 species (László et al., 2010; Sasaki et al., 2011; Kononenko and Pinratana, 2013). Two species of the genus Nola Leach; Nola euryzonata (Hampson, 1900) and Nola lucidalis (Walker, 1865), reported for the first time in Laos. Illustrations of adults and genitalia of all the examined species are provided.
콩에서 발생하는 강낭콩일반모자이크바이러스(BCMV)와 땅콩위축바이러스(PSV)의 저항성 평가

It has been reported several viral diseases in soybean. The occurrence of Bean common mosaic virus and Peanut stunt virus are able to induce severe problem because the main breeding target for viral disease was focused on Soybean mosaic virus. BCMV is a spcies of the genus Potyvirus of the family Potyviridae. BCMV reduces yield by as much as 80% and also adversely affects seed quality in common bean. BCMV has a worldwide distribution because of its high rates 35% of transmission via seeds produced by plants systemically infected prior to bloom. PSV is a species of the genus Cucumovirus of the family Bromoviridae. PSV has been reported to be economically damaging on beans worldwide. Although the virus is reportedly seed transmissible at very low rates, infected plants rarely produce pods with normal viable seeds. The most satisfactory management method of viral diseases such as BCMV and PSV is the use of resistant cultivars and healthy seed. For the overcome of genetic resistance by new virus such as BCMV and PSV, virus diseases monitoring and researches need to study deeply and continually. In this study, we conducted the resistance screen on BCMV and PSV for selection of resistance cultivars. We inoculated on 128 cultivars with PSV and BCMV respectively. These cultivars were classified through pathogenic response such as resistance, necrosis and susceptibility. In addition, 99 and 66 resistant cultivars were confirmed against PSV and BCMV respectively.
Activator를 장착한 Ⅲ급 부정교합 아동에서 일부 저작근에 대한 근활성도 분석

The purpose of the present study was to investigate the influence of activator on EMG activity of some masticatory muscles in Angle Class Ⅲ malocclusion.The subjects were consisted of 23 children with class Ⅲ malocclusion,13 boys and 10 girls,ranging in age from 7 to 12 years(mean 8.9 years). The EMG activity from the anterior temporal and masseter muscles was recorded during maximal biting in centric occlusion before,immediately after,twenty days and three months after wearing the activator. The following results were obtained; 1.Before wearing the activator,there was no significant difference in EMG activity between the masseter and anterior temporal muscles. 2.Immediately after wearing the activator,the EMG activity in the masseter and temporal muscles was markedly reduced. 3.Twenty days after wearing the activator,the EMG activity in the masseter and temporal muscles was markedly increased compared to that obtained immediately after wearing the activator and was not siginificantly different from that obtained before wearing the activator. 4.The significant difference appeared in EMG activity between masseter and anterior temporal muscles after twenty days of wearing the activator,but disappeared after three months of wearing the activator.

Objectives : Pneumoconisis and noise-induced hearing loss (NIHL) have been reported as main occupational diseases by the Special Health Examination. The Industrial Accident Compensation Insurance has reported various work-related diseases, however, these two diseases occupied almost a half of compensated cases. Therefore, it was not well known about the status of occupational diseases other than pneumoconiosis, NIHL, and cardio-cerebrovascular accident (CVA). This study was conducted to analyze claimed cases as an occupational disease, that was requested to the Korea Industrial Safety and Health Agency (KOSHA). Methods : The local office of the Korea Labor Welfare Corporation (KLWC) has asked the KOSHA for confirmation of claimed cases as an occupational disease. We analyzed 379 cases requested from KLWC, the Ministry of Labor, employers, unions and occupational health agencies from 1992 to 1999. Results : Male was 80.7 % of the requested cases. Their mean age was 42 years old and 75.5 % of them were more than 35 years old. The requested cases were increased rapidly from 25 cases in 1992 to 108 cases in 1999 and the accept rate was 50.7 %. The majority of requested cases were respiratory diseases(22.4%), cancers(18.5%), Neuropsychiatric problems(14.5%), and musculoskeletal problems(13.5%). The accept rate was high in reproductive, respiratory, musculoskeletal and digestive disorders and low in neuropsychiatric, renal and otologic problems and occupational cancers. 73.6% of them were caused by chemical agents, especially 28.5 % were by organic solvents. 67% of them were clinically confirmed at university hospitals. A half of the cases were from KyongIn area, even the request came from the whole country. Conclusions : A claim was common in workers whose age was over 35 years old and exposure history was over 10 years. The respiratory diseases and neuropsychiatric disorders were still main problems in occupational health and occupational cancers was increasing even though its accept rate was not high yet.
中山間地(標高 250m)에서 참깨 播種適期와 晩播限界期에 關한 硏究

In order to determinate the optimum plating time and its limitation, an eary harvest and high yeld sesame varety-Poong Nyun Ggae-was cultivated on the semi-mountainous area of 250 meter above sea level. The variety was cultivated with a single and double cropping system. The single cropping plots were covered with transparent polyethylene film on 1st , 11th and 21th in May and the double cropping plots were covered with PE film on 5th, 15th, 25th in June respectively and on 5th July. The results obtained are as follows; Yield of the plot planted on 1st May was 59kg/10a. In compaorisn with this, yields were increased 16% and 25% in plots planted on 11th and 21th May, respectively. The optimum planting time was considered near 20th May for the single cropping system and it should be considered before 15th June for the double cropping system in the semimountainous area.

UR 등의 세계 환경 시장의 변화에 따른 건설 시장의 개방으로 신건설 소재 개발에 대한 요구가 증가하고 있으며 이러한 재료 중의 하나가 폴리머 재료라고 할 수 있다. 폴리머 콘크리트는 고강도이며 마모저항, 충격저항 성능 및 내약품성, 내구성 등이 우수한 제품으로 이미 선진국에서는 이러한 재료 성질을 이용하여 제품화 연구에 적극 나서고 있다. 특히, 건설분야의 발전과 함께 발생하는 인력, 자재 부족 등에 대비하기 위해서는 건설자재의 표준화 및 규격화가 요구되며 가능한 공장에서 제작하는 공업화된 자재에 대한 요구가 점차 높아 지고 있다. 건축분야에서는 구조체의 보수 및 보강재료로서 폴리머 콘크리트를 이용할 수 있을 뿐만 아니라 외부 마감 재료로도 사용가능한 것으로 나타나고 있다. 즉, 시공성능의 향상을 위해서는 기존의 프리캐스트 콘크리트를 이용한 건물 외부 및 내부 간막이벽의 단점을 개선한 경량이고 경제적인 마감재에 대한 개발이 절실하다. 본 연구에서는 새로운 건설 산업용 소재인 폴리머 콘크리트 패널을 건축분야의 간막이벽체로 사용하기 위하여 기본적으로 간막이벽에 요구되는 구조성능 실험을 하므로서 개발가능성에 대해 검토하였다. 즉, 본 연구에서는 폴리머 샌드위치 패널의 두께를 최소화 하는 방안으로 용접철망으로 배근하여 그 거동의 변화를 실험하여 보강된 폴리머 콘크리트의 구조적 거동을 실험적으로 파악하였다. 연구결과 다음의 결론을 얻었다. (1) 처짐량은 하부구조재의 두께가 두꺼울 수록 적게 발생하여 구조재로 사용한 하부의 두께를 증가시키면 큰 하중을 지지할 수 있다. (2) 두께 40mm의 경우 20mm에 비하여 강성이 1.5-2.0 배 증가되었다. (3) 압축측 및 변형도 및 인장 측의 변형도는 배근량에는 큰 영향이 없는 것으로 나타났다. (4) 하중- 용접철망의 변형도는 배근량의 증가에 따라 휨강도가 증가하는 추세를 보이나 두께 40mm의 경우 큰 영향이 없는 것으로 나타났다. (5) 파괴하중은 철근의 배근에 따라 증가하나 철근량에는 큰 영향이 없는 것으로 나타났다. (6) 파괴형태가 연성적 거동으로 완전히 파괴되는 경우는 발생하지 않았으며 배근량이 증가하면 연성적으로 되는 것으로 나타나 배근량과 거동에 대한 연구가 필요하다. (7) 패널의 파괴형태가 연성적이고 하중 부담능력이 우수하여 건축외장재로 사용가능성이 높은 것으로 판단되며 충고의 변화에 두께를 조절하고 배근 할 경우 우�Iㄴ 성능을 기대할 수 있다. (8) 샌드위치 패널의 구조적 거동을 파악하기 위해서는 다양한 휨인장 기강도실험, 압축강도 실험, 2축압축 시험 등을 통한 구조재료로서의 연구가 필요하다. (9) 해석적 접근과 구조설계식의 제안을 위해서는 다양한 실험적 연구가 필요하며 내구성에 대한 연구가 필요하다. From the open of the domestic construction market, the domestic construction environment is changing and the necessities of developing advanced construction materials are increased. Among these materials, polymer concrete precast products are in concern in the developed countries. Various polymer materials are being widely used in the many industries, such as automobile, aerospace. and mechanic industry. In construction industry, the polymer concrete has been introduced as new material and has become popular because of its good properties such as early age high strength, good chemical resistance. Due to these good properties, it is expected to be widely used in architectural construction. The aim of this study is to perform basic studies and experiments and investigate the structural behavior of polymer concrte sandwich panels to use architectural cladding and interior partition. To study the structural behavior of polymer concrte sandwich panels, The followings are investigated through the experiments. (1) The flexural behavior of polymer concrte sandwich panels (2) Strain characteristics due to bending (3) structural properties of polymer concrete The results of this study is as follows. (1) The polymer concrete has good structural perfomance such as early age high compressive strength and flexural strength. The polymer concrete is to be proved appropriate material to improve the defficiencies of precast concrete snadwich panel. (2) The area of reinforcing steel has little influence on the structural behavior of the polymer concrete sandwich panels. (3) The thickness of polymer concrete has much influence on the structural behavior of panels. (4) The specimen has failed in the ductile manner.

이 연구는 오·폐수에 함유된 유기물을 제거하기 위하여 일반 시멘트 콘크리트에 비해 우수한 역학적 성질을 갖는 폴리머를 이용한 현무암 다공질 석재를 개발하고, 이에 대한 물리. 역학적 특성 및 정화성능을 실험적으로 구명한 것이다. 그 결과 다공질 소재이나 강도가 높고 적당한 단위체적중량을 갖기 때문에 설치 후 안정성을 확보할 수 있고, 정화성능은 나일론 여재에 비해 떨어지지 않으므로, 현장 설치 및 시공방법에 대한 연구가 이루어질 경우 실용화가 가능할 것으로 판단된다. The objectives of this study were to develop porous media for sewage treatment facility using basalt and to explore the possibility of replacing wall structures of sewage treatment plants improve the efficiency of sewage treatment. It was shown that the porous media developed by using basalt was not as efficient as existing media. However, it is expected that the polymer porous media can be economically applied to existing waste treatment plants and help improve sewage treatment efficiency.
