TDOA 방식 기반 3-D 위치 추정을 위한 BLUE 추정기

이 논문에서는 발신자가 송출한 신호를 이용하여 TDOA(Time Difference of Arrival) 방식으로 발신자의 3 차원 위치를 추정할 때, BLUE(Best Linear Unbiased Estimator) 추정기를 닫힌 해 형태로 구하였다. 4 개의 기준국 또는 센서를 사용하여 3차원의 발신자 위치를 추정할 때, BLUE 추정기를 구하기 위해서 발신자의 위치에 대한 기준 위치를 설정한 후 이를 1 차 Taylor 급수로부터 유도된 근사화된 TDOA 쌍곡선 방정식을 사용하였다. 이 논문에서 근사화를 통해 구해진 유도식은 각 기준국 또는 센서에서의 TOA(Time of Arrival) 측정 잡음이 서로 상관관계가 없고 독립적이라는 가정하에서, 백색 가우시안 잡음에 대해서뿐만 아니라 평균이 제로인 모든 잡음에 대해서 적용할 수 있다. In this paper, we derived a closed-form equation of a Best Linear Unbiased Estimator (BLUE) estimator for the 3 dimensional estimation of the position of the emitter based on the Time Difference of Arrival (TDOA) technique. The BLUE derived for the case of estimating 3 dimensional position of the emitter with 4 base stations or sensors, and for this purpose, we used an approximated equation of the TDOA hyperbola equation obtained from the first order Taylor-series after setting the reference points of the position. The derived equation can be used for any kind of noises which are uncorrelated in each other in the TOA measurement noises and for a white Gaussian noise also.

High-rate trickling filter method is applied to treat municipal and industrial waste-water inflowing in waste-water treatment plant, especially to treat the liquid organic wastes. In recent years, the introduction of plastic filter media has caused a variety of changes in the design and construction of trickling filters. These plastic media provide relatively large surface area per volume of packing and a high percentage of void spaces. In using these plastic media, more uniform distribution of waste-water over the entire area and depth of the media is attained and clogging problems are minimized in most cases. Therefore, this study was measured the degree of waste-water treatment by using filter medium filled with the plastic golf ball. The purpose of this study was to evaluate the performance of a trickling filter packed with plastic media and to contribute to solution of the various problems caused to waster-water treatment.

Medicinal extracts of Honghwain (Carthamus tinctorius L. seed) (CTE) was tested for whether they could inhibit IL-1β-induced PGE₂productional. Cell viability was not significaltly affected by treatment with the indicated concentration of the extracts. The CTE extracts were shown to havethe inhibitory effects against the synthesis of PGE₂. we also examined the effect of the pretreatment with a various concentrations of the CTE extracts then treated the PGE₂-induction agents. Pretreatment of the CTE extracts for 1 h, which by itself had little effect on cell survival, did not enhance the synthesis of PGE₂. Furthermore, the CTE extracts were shown to have the the protective effects against plasminogen dependent fibrinolysis induced by the bone resorption agents of IL-1β. Pretreatment of the CTE extracts for 1 h did not enhance the plasminogen dependent fibrinolysis. Finally, calcitonin showed the inhibitory activity the IL-1β-stimulated bone resorption in the mouse calvarial bone cells having both of the osteoblast and osteoclast cells. Seemingly, pretreatment of the CTE extracts for 1 h reduced the bone resorption. These results clearly indicated that calcitonin and CTE extracts play key roles in inhibition of the osteoclast-mediated bone resorption, and also indicated that the CTE-water extracts are highly stable and applicable to clinical uses in osteoporosis.

유백피 추출물의 항세균 효과를 측정하기 위해 각각 다른 농도의 추출물을 함유한 배지에서 MIC를 측정하고, 증식에 미치는 영향을 조사한 결과는 다음과 같다. 이 추출물은 실험에 사용된 세균 중 S.aureus, S.epidermidis, S.faecalis, B.subtilis, M.luteus와 같은 그람 양성균 및 E.coli, S.typhi, P.vulgaris, P.aeruginosa와 같은 그람 음성균에서 높았고, K. pneumoniae에 대해서는 항균력을 나타내지 않았다. 이 추출물 중의 항세균 효과를 가진 물질은 121℃에서 20분간 멸균한 후에도 항세균 효과에는 별다른 변화가 없었다. Antibacterial activity of the water-soluble portion of Ulmus pumila L. extract against 10 bacterial species was studied by both cylinder plate dilution method and broth dilution test tube method. Inhibitory effect of the extract on the bacteria was also investigated by plotting bacterial surviual at various concentration of the extract. The crude extract exhibited antibacterial activity against all of the tested bacterial species with exception of K. pneumoniae. The fractions of the extract prepared by CM Sephadex-C 50 ion exchange chromatography were also subjected to test the antibacterial activity, and the activity was studied after autoclaving for 20 minutes.

Members of the Vps (Vacuolar protein sorting) protein family involved in the formation of the retromer complex have been discovered in a variety of species such as yeast, mouse, and human. A mammalian retromer complex is composed of Vps26, Vps29, and Vps35 proteins and plays and important role in cation-independent mannose-6-phosphate receptor retrieval from the endosome to the trans-Golgi network. In this study, we have identified the full-length sequences of the retromer components of Vps26, Vps29, and Vps35 in micro pigs. The cDNA sequences of these retromer components have been determined and the result showed there is 99% homology among the component counterparts from mouse, micro pigs, and humans. In addition, the retromer complexes formed with hetero-components were found in the brain of micro pigs. Based on above results, we suggest mammalian Vps components are well conserved in micro pigs.
