Objectives: The purpose of this study is to evaluate the effects of Korean traditional treatments for Climacteric Syndrome Patients with Hwa-Byung. Methods: From February 2015 to May 2015, We treated 5 Cases Patients with Korean traditional treatments for a month. We measured treatment effects by Menopause Rating Scale (MRS), Beck`s Depression Inventory (BDI), Visual Analogue Scale (VAS) and Digital Infrared Thermal Imaging (DITI). Results: After treatment, First, the scores of MRS, BDI were decreased. Second, the symptoms such as hot flush, pantalgia, palpitation, insomnia, fatigue were significantly improved. Also, the difference of ?中 (CV17, Danjung) and 關元 (CV4, Guanyuan) temperatures were significantly decreased after treatment. Conclusions: This study suggests that Korean traditional treatments such as Gamicheonglijagam-hwan, acupuncture, moxibustion are effective on Climacteric Syndrome Patients with Hwa-Byung.
면역친화 크로마토그라피법에 의한 결핵균 알파항원의 정제와 폐결핵 환자에서 결핵균 항체의 측정에 관한 연구

In order to purified alpha antigen, one of the major protein antigens of Mycobacterium tuberculosis, anti-α serum was obtained from rabbit immunized with alpha-antigen purified from the unheated culture filtrate of M. tuberculosis by ammonium sulfate precipitation, hydroxylapatite chromatography, gel filtration and preparative natural-PAGE. From the culture filtrate concentrated by ultrafiltration, alpha antigen was purified by affinity chromatography using the anti-alpha serum and checked its molecular characterization by SDS-PAGE. For the determination of antibody activities to affinity purified alpha antigen in the IgG, IgM and IgA class in sera from patients with pulmonary tuberculosis, ELISA was performed on 48 patients with pulmonary tuberculosis and 102 healthy controls. The results were summarized as follows: 1. The immunoaffinity purification resulted in recovery of 35% the alpha antigen and achieved 4.9-fold purification in Ouchterlony immunodiffusion titer. The purified alpha antigen showed a distinct alpha antigen band of 30 KDa molecule and another contaminated band of 32 KDa molecule on SDS-PAGE. 2. The mean ELISA values of antibody activites to affinity purified alpha antigen in sera of 13 patients with minimal tuberculosis, 26 patients with moderately advanced, 9 patients with far advanced and 102 controls were the following:(1) the IgG activity of each groups were 0.7514±0.3934, 0.7163±0.3452, 1.0621±0.4301 and 0.3138±0.1068, respectively, (2) the IgM ac-tivity were 0.5410±0.2375, 0.6083±0.2998, 0.6656±0.3442 and 0.4981±0.2118(not signifi-cant), respectively, (3) the IgA activity were 0.1210±0.0691, 0.1685±0.1396, 0.2681±0.1544 and 0.0716±0.0860. The significant difference were observed in the value of IgG and IgA an-tibody. 3. When antibody activities of AFB positive group and AFB negative were compared to those of control, the significant difference were observed in the value of IgG and IgA antibody but was not observed in value of IgM antibody. 4. According to the F value of analysis of variance, the activity level IgG antibody was more significant difference than that of IgA antibody.
결핵균 30 kDa항원과 Interleukin-2 혹은 Anti-CD28의 병합이 건강인 말초혈액 림프구와 단핵구 증식에 미치는 영향

Cell-mediated immunity is necessary for protection against Mycobacterium tuberculosis. T lymphocytes are thought to play a central role in cell-mediated immune response. And in vitro stimulation of leukocytes with mycobactria or their products induces synthesis and release of several cytokines, including IL-2. To study the T lymphocyte proliferative response to purified 30 kDa antigen from Mycobacterium tuberculosis H37Rv, IL-2 or their combination, peripheral blood lymphocytes and mononuclear cells isolated from healthy subjects were stimulated with the 30 kDa antigen, IL-2 or both. The proliferations of lymphocytes and molnonuclear cells to 30 kDa or 30/32 kDa antigen were significantly increased in PPD(+) group when compared to those in PPD(-) group. It is confirmed here that have shown synergy between 30 kDa antigen and IL-2(250U) in the induction of lymphocytes and mononuclear cells proliferation in PPD(+) group. The proliferative response reflects synergy between two separate activation stimuli. And macrophage-like cells existed in peripheral blood mononuclear cells were shown to help the synergy of the proliferative response to mycobacterial antigen and IL-2. The proliferative responses of lymphocytes and mononuclear cells to 30 kDa antigen were more increased than those to 30/32 kDa antigen. So it was suggested that 30 kDa antigen was the more immunogenic antigen than 30/32 kDa antigen.
發芽中인 땅콩子葉의 Microbody酵素들의 活性 變化와 이에 미치는 Cycloheximide의 影響

In cotyledons of peanut seedlings glyoxysomal and peroxisomal enzymes exhibit different rates of development during germination. The activity of isocitrate lyase, a glyoxysomal enzyme, was rapidly increased during the first 4days, and then decreased by day 7. In the light this decrease was slightly accelerated. The peroxisomal enzyme, glycolate oxidase, showed high activity continuously after the 4th day. But in the dark the activity remained at a constant level by day 7. The activity of the common microbody marker, catalase, developed similarly to isocitrate lyase. In the dark the activity was decreased by day 7 but in the light it was increased after the 5th day. The enzyme patterns in peanut cotyledons indicate that the glyoxysomal function of microbodies is replaced by the peroxisomal function of these organelles during the transition from fat degradation to photosynthsis. Cycloheximide was used to know whether these enzymes are synthesized de novo during early germinating stages or arise through the activation of some precursor already present in the dry seed. As a result, cycloheximide lowered the activities of three enzymes tested. So the stored mRNA in embryos are transcribed during the first hours of seed imbibition to synthesize new proteins.

In this paper the functional requirements of a B-ISDN access network based on MAN are investigated . Firstly, criteria of designing access network for the B-ISDN is studied. Secondly, the types of subscribers and their service requirements are defined. Thirdly, various artchitectures of CPNs(Customer Premises Networks) are considered and their characteristics are studied, Finally, the interworking funtions of a DQDB MAN as an access network are investigated.

The use of geosynthetics as a reinforcing element for reinforced earth retaining structures has been recently increased in view of its low cost, light weight and good durability. With fabrics, however, large strains may frequently be induced, it is essential, therefore, to assess the strains likely to be induced. In this paper an analytical procedure based on Chang's discrete element method for stability analysis of reinforced soil retaining wall is presented to predict displacements of geosynthetics. For the stability analysis of geosynthetic reinforced soil retaining wall, nonlinear behavior of the reinforcement is simulated by using hyperbolic model. Furthermore, the maximum reinforcement tension in any reinforcement layer has been estimated by modifying the method proposed by Duncan et al.(1980,1986), Ehrlich & Mitchell(1994)
