Post mortem insect colonization and body weight loss in rabbit carcasses

This study considers the impact of various treatments of rabbit carcasses on post mortem insect colonization and weight loss. A statistically accurate time for the change in carcass weight and insect access time was determined using time series analysis depending on different carcass treatments that determined insect access. The decomposition stage was relatively short. Fifteen freshly killed white rabbits (Oryctolagus cuniculus) weighing between 2.5 kg and 4.5 kg were used as animal models in this study. Three carcasses were treated in each of five ways: normal, burnt, wrapped, hung, and immersed. A total of thirteen insect species were attracted to normal, burnt, and hung carcasses. Insects were not collected from sealed and immersed carcasses. The normal and burnt carcasses had a higher number of species and abundance compared to hung carcasses. The present study found no difference in insect colonization in normal and burnt carcasses. The determination of the weight of remaining carcass was clearly divided into the insect‐accessible (i.e., normal, burnt, and hung carcasses) and insect‐inaccessible carcasses (i.e., sealed and immersed carcasses), although no difference was found in the decrease in the rate of the remaining carcass in insect‐inaccessible carcasses.

GIS을 활용한 인공어초의 적지 선정에 관한 연구

This study carried out in order to investigate the most basic elements of suitability selection methods for composition of artificial reef. Acquired data by in-situ measurements and satellite remote sensing analysed in applying GIS. To identify the characteristic of marine environment around the West Sea, the South Sea and the East Sea of Korea, physical conditions-seabed sediment and depth, biological conditions-chlorophyll-${\alpha}$, chemical conditions-Sea Surface Temperature(SST) and DO were used. Suitable sites for artificial reef are selected Taean Peninsula, Geoje, Wando, Pohang, Seocheon, etc. From now on, it will be helpful to effectively utilize artificial reef as well as construct synthetic database. It is also expected to use basic data for artificial reef facilities management. 본 논문는 인공어초 조성의 가장 기본적인 요소인 적지선정을 위한 방법에 대해 고찰하였다. 현장관측과 위성 원격탐사(Remote Sensing, RS)로 획득한 자료를 지리정보시스템(Geographic Information System, GIS)을 활용하여 분석하였다. 한반도 주변해역의 해양환경 특성을 파악하기 위해 물리적 조건-해저저질, 수심, 생물적 조건-클로로필-${\alpha}$, 화학적 조건-해수온, DO를 활용하였다. 인공어초 적지로는 태안반도, 거제, 완도, 포항, 서천 등이 나타났다. 향후 본 연구는 인공어초 설치의 효율적인 활용뿐만 아니라 종합적인 데이터베이스의 구축에 도움을 줄 수 있을 것이다. 또한 인공어초 시설관리의 기초자료로 활용할 수 있을 것으로 기대된다.

쥐의 心臟筋肉 細胞로부터 mRNA 分離 精製및 cDNA 合成

mRNA from Atrial muscle of rat heart has been purified poly(A)+RNA, and its physical properties have been examined. Isolation was achieved by the use of guanidinium extraction method to isolate cellular RNA. Purification was achieved by the use of oligo(dT)-cellulose chromatography to separate poly(A) +RNA from ribosomal RNA, Poly(A) +RNA was translation in a cell-free reticulocyte system. Purified poly(A) +RNA was synthesized a double strand DNA by using reverse transciptase, polymerase arid T4 ligase. The extracted mRNA was obtained approximately 5mg against 20g sample tissue (rat heart). The purification fold was 40-fold, and final purified poly(A) +RNA in orig(dT)-cellulose chromatography was taken 2.4% of the initial mRNA. When 1.0㎍ of poly(A) +RNA was added to a cell-free system in 25㎕ reaction volumn, the complex protein synthesizing ability was maximized. After purifying the poly(A):RNA it was synthesized to a single and then a double strand DNA. Its conversion rate was figured 0.38% for a single strand, and 0.356% for a double strand DNA.

流通經路 依存性에 관한 硏究

The purpose of this article is to expand understanding of findings and measures in previous research on the dealer dependence in distribution channel relationships. Analytical frameworks and empirical investigations focusing on the environmental determinants of channel structures and processes are beginning to appear in the marketing literature. Achrol, Reve, and Stern propsed the political economy frameworks to analyze the marketing channel. The political economy frame work outlined here should be viewed as the first step in the direction of identifting and dimentionalizing the major variables influencing and ordering channel structure and behavior. It is composed of two major system : (1) the internal political economy, i. e., the internal structuring and functioning of the distribution channel, and (2) the external political economy, i. e., the channels task environment. Both systems are divided into two component parts : an economy and a polity, also the internal polity is devided into the internal political structure and processes. The internal political structure is defined by the pattern of power-dependence relations which exists among channel members. The dependence of channel member A upon channel member B is (1) directly proportional to A' motivational investment in goals mediated by B, (2) inversely proportional to availiability of those goals to A outside the A-B relation. The most consistent finding from previous researches is that a dealer dependence in a channel relationship is related positively to the source firm's level of control. The dependence of channel member A upon channel member B can be mesured by three approaches : sales and profit approach, role perfomance approach, and specific assets-offsetting investments approach. I think of the role perfomance approch as appropriate in Korea. Because this study was perfomed in only theoretical perspectives, emirical research is heeded in future channels research.

저자들은 65세 남자 환자의 위 중부체부 대만부 전벽에 발생한 점막하 종양에 대하여 3년간 추적관찰 중 크기증가소견으로 쐐기 절재술을 시행하였으며, 조직검사 및 면역 조직 화학 검사에서 위 신경초종으로 진단한 1예를 경험하였기에 보고하는 바이다. Gastric schwannoma is a very rare gastrointestinal benign tumor, which represents only 0.2% of all gastric tumors and 4% of all benign gastric tumors. We report a case of gastric schwannoma with enlargement of size through serial endoscopic examination. Endoscopic examination showed a hard mass of 4 x 3 cm in size with normal overlying gastric mucosa on the great curvature of the mid-body of stomach. The pathological finding revealed a picture of spindle cell tumor. Immunohistochemical stain was strongly positive for S-100 protein and non-reactive for CD34, C-kit and smooth muscle actin, thus leading to the diagnosis of gastric schwannoma.

영역정보와 유전 알고리즘을 이용한 스테레오 정합

In this paper, a new approach of stereo matching using genetic algorithm is presented to improve the depth reconstruction method. And the region information of the image is also used to treat various image sources. Genetic algorithms are efficient search methods based on principles of natural selection and population genetic. Genetic operators, such as crossover and mutation, are modified for matching environment. 2-D chromosome is used for the simple treatment of image signal. Since several constrains, defined as similarity and smoothness, are generally adopted to remove false matching candidates in stereo vision, the fitness function which identifies the fittest individual is formed by the constrains. In addition, the informed dispaeity generation and initial population based on intensity difference are applied to reduce the searching space of genetic operations. Experimental results show that the computation load is less than conventional matching methods with relaxation and relatively stable outputs are acquired.

프랜차이즈經路에서 協同에 관한 硏究

Although Cooperation in marketing channels is major construct to channel managers, it has received little attention in the literature. The objective of this study is to examine the role cooperation in a franchise channel. The hypothesized relationships between cooperation and behavioral costructs were stated as: H1 : Higher levels of dependence will lead to higher levels of cooperation. H2 : Higher levels of coercive power will lead to lower levels of cooperation and higher levels of noncoercive power will lead to higher levels of cooperation. H3 : Higher levels of conflict will lead to lower levels of cooperation. H4 : Higher levels of cooperation will lead to higher levels of satisfaction. Data were collected from personal computer retailers. A simple random sample of 250 dealers was gathered from the Yellow Pages of Inchon and Seoul telephon directories. The hypothesized relationships between dependence(H1) and satisfaction(H4) and cooperation were supported. The proposed relationships between coercive power(H2) and operational and service conflict(H3) and cooperation were not statistically significant. Since this research design was tested using only pc dealers in Inchon and Seoul city, it has a limitation in the generalizability. Future research directions focus on the limitations of this study. In this study data was gathered from the retail side of the franchise channel dyad personal computers. In future research, respondents from both sides of channel dyad should be investigated when behavioral demensions are explored.

There are many types of reduction drives for industrial uses. However, it is essential to use precision reduction drives for accuracy of position controls on robot systems. Among the precision reduction drives, the cycloid reduction drive is well known for its high performances and widely used in precision industrial field. Cycloid reduction drives are mainly used in manipulators in robot system requiring a characteristic of a high precision control. When we design this cycloid reduction drive, there are many factors that must be considered. First, a geometrical analysis of a tooth shape must be drawn from the basic concept. Secondly, load distribution, stress distribution and sliding velocity on a tooth should be calculated exactly. Finally, a computer software to optimize the design of a cycloid tooth needs developing. In this study, many differentkinds of factors concerning the characteristic of a cycloid tooth were researched on the basis of the analysis of load, stress and sliding velocity on a tooth. The computer expert system to design the cycloid reduction drive was developed using a Visual C++ compiler. In conclusion, the most important factors can be obtained easily as the user put the simple input data.
