The decoders of turbo codes realized either using MAP algorithm or SOVA algorithm have the structures that two SISO(soft input soft output) decoders are concatenated in serial mode and exchange informations among each other. But if they are connected in parallel mode, more informations than in serial mode can be obtained. So this paper proposes the parallel decoder structures slightly modified in order to achieve performance improvement. The proposed methods are using the LLR outputs of two decoders and using the extrinsic informations of two decoders and compared with the performance of general turbo codes.

Objective: In the present study, we investigated the protective effects of low-intensity treadmill training in doxorubicin-induced cardiotoxicity rat models. Design: Randomized controlled trial. Methods: In this study, we randomly divided them into four groups. The normal group included non-cardiotoxicity normal control (n=10), the control group included non-treadmill training after doxorubicin-induced cardiotoxicity (n=10), the experimental group I included low-intensity treadmill training (3 m/min) after doxorubicin-induced cardiotoxicity (n=10), and the experimental group II included low-intensity treadmill training (8 m/min) after doxorubicin-induced cardiotoxicity (n=10). Rats in the treadmill training group underwent treadmill training, which began at 2 weeks after first intraperitoneal injection. We determined the body weight change for each rat on days 1 and 21. Biochemical markers (lactate dehydrogenase [LDH], creatine kinase [CK], glutathion, aspartate transaminase [AST], and alanine transaminase [ALT]) concentration in the serum change of rats from all four groups was examined at the end of the experiment. Results: The results showed that the experimental group I and II showed a significant increase in body weight as compared with that of the control group (p<0.05). We observed that the biochemical markers (LDH, CK, glutathion, AST, and ALT) were improved in the experimental group I than the experimental group II (p<0.05). There was no difference between the experimental groups. Conclusions: In conclusion, our data suggest that low-intensity treadmill training applied after doxorubicin treatment protects against cardiotoxicity following treatment, possibly by enhancing antioxidant defenses and inhibiting cardiac muscle cell apoptosis.

This survey was conducted for 170 players(88pitchers, 14catchers, 35infielders and 33outfielders) of 8 Korean baseball teams & 144 High school players(63pitchers, 16catchers, 39infielders and 26outfielders) of city named Gwang-ju, Seoul and around Kyung-Ki province regarding elbow joint injury. Also, I came to the following conclusion after conducting radiation, MRI and manual test on elbow joint injury for 68 active players(36pitchers, 32position players) who are belong to tentatively named "K", one of Korean baseball teams. 1. Survey It was shown that elbow joint injury and its pain provide bad influence game and practice for all the pro & amateur players(hereinafter referred to as "players") who had its surgery experienced it but can't find even one case in catcher group. Concerning kinds of surgery (if there was) each group had, you can mostly find MCL reconstruction for pitcher and outfielder, loose bodies for infielder. And it shows that in many cases amateur pitcher had MCL reconstruction surgery and infield and outfielder loose bodies one from chronic fatigue caused by its overuse and the lack of rehabilitation. Asked which is the most important method of its prevention on elbow joint injury, many players in all positions said that conditioning is the name of the game and systematic regulation such as pitch count limit for amateur player is necessary for their protection. 2. Survey of injury history Survey for 68 active players with tentatively named "K", one of Korean baseball teams, shows that it found 22 (32.35%) as normal players, 46 players (67.65%) with injury history. Most of injured players were suffered MCL injury (25players, 36.76%) loose bodies (23players, 33.82%). Also, 24 players who

This study was performed to investigate the physicochemical characteristics after producing chitosansalt by adding chitosan to salt. Cl− value of chitosan-salt was same with that of the control group and that meant the salinity of the chitosan-salt was not different with that of the salt. While salt generally increases angiotensin converting enzyme (ACE) activity, chitosan-salt inhibited the ACE activity. For all microorganisms 3% chitosan-salt was the most effective in antimicrobial activity. When systolic blood pressure (SBP) of Sprague-dawley rats (SDR) was examined for 5 weeks to evaluate in vivo effects of chitosan-salt, all groups did not show significant difference between supplement period and group. In addition, plasma total cholesterol (TC) and triglyceride (TG) concentration were not different in all groups. This result was considered to be use of normotensive SDR so changes of SBP were investigated with spontaneous hypertensive rat (SHR). normal diet supplement group (NDSG) administered with captopril showed the largest decrease of SBP (p<0.001)and SBP of normal diet+3% chitosan salt supplement group (CSSG) also decreased significantly (p<0.001). However, that of normal+3% table salt supplement group (TSSG) increased significantly with times course (p<0.001). These results suggested that increasing blood pressure in salt intake by using chitosan was caused by not sodium but chloride and chitosan’s effect of eliminating Cl from NaCl was considered to be a main cause.
