        The purpose of this study is to understand the relationship of Football, 2002 FIFA World Cup, and community of Daegu and Gyeongbuk in the aspect of social and economical impact. To accomplish this purpose, this study focused on 2002 FIFA World Cup and community in order to improve the 'quality of life' of community citizens as leisure culture. First of all, we have to reorganize the community physical education, school physical education, and elite sport through 2002 FIFA World Cup in Daegu and Gyeongbuk province. It is important to consider the network of sport facility, sport program, and sport leader for the development of citizen's leisure wellness.

      • 비디오 흉강경을 이용한 자연기흉의 수술요법

        Primary spontaneous pneumothorax has an annual incidence of 9 cases per 100,000 populations, especially high incidence in young adults. Thoracoscopic surgery is not new, but its applications to chest surgery have been more increasing with advanced video technology and instrumentation. We performed 15 cases of bullectomy using video-assisted thoracoscopy(VATS) for patients of pneumothorax. The mean age of patients was 25.1±7.6 years old, 105.5±40.1 minutes of mean operation times, and 3.2±1.9 days of postoperative tube indwelling time. Postoperative complications were persistent air leakage in one case, which was converted to open thoracotomy later, and recurrence of pneumothotax in one case. Video-assisted thoracoscopic bullectomy is effective alternative to thoracotomy for treatment of pneumothorax in terms of short hospital stay, less morbidity, low rate of recurrence, less pain, and good cosmetic results. But objective comparison with mini-thoracotomy will be needed in many aspects.

      • 급성 ST 분절 상승 심근경색증의 표준진료지침 설계

        The use of critical pathways for a variety of clinical conditions has grown rapidly in recent years, particularly pathways for patients with acute myocardial infarction. We intend to determine the impact of a clinical pathway on ST-elevation myocardial infarction (STEMI) and to evaluate the efficacy and safety of facilitated percutaneous coronary intervention (PCI) compared with primary PCI. Low risk STEMI patients (ST elevation >0.1mV in more than 2 limb leads or ST elevation >0.2mV in contiguous precordial lead, chest pain lasting more than 30 min without response to nitroglycerin) will be included. All patients will be also treated medically according to critical pathway. STEMI is one of the common diseases in emergency medicine and so it is necessary to establish realistic treatment guidelines. The use of critical pathways will improve the quality of care.

      • 근긴장성 이영양증 환자 1례에 대한 보고

        근긴장성 이영양증은 1909년 Steinert에 의해 처음으로 보고된 질환으로 상염색체 우성유전으로 발현되며 근긴장증 이외에 전신증상이 함께 나타나는데, 전두두 대머리, 긴 얼굴, 안검하수, 역전된 미소모양의 입술등이 보이고 식도, 대장, 자궁 등의 평활근도 침범하여 연하곤란, 구음장애, 변비, 분만장애 등을 일으킬 수 있다. 또한 심장비대와 심장전도의 이상을 동반하는 경우 이로 인한 부정맥이 주요 사망원인이 될 수 있다. 이러한 특징적인 임상증상 외에 근전도 검사상 일명 dive bomber sound 또는 motorcycle sound를 보이는 운동단위전위가 특징적으로 관찰된다. 본 교실에서는 좌측 근위약을 호소하고 원위부보다 근위부 근력이 더 심하게 약화되어 있는 근긴장성 이 영양증 환자 1례를 경험하였기에 문헌고찰과 함께 보고하는 바이다. Myotonic dystrophy, first described by Steinert in 1909, is an autosomal dominant multisystem diease. Most patients note the insidious onset of weakness in the limb muscles or difficulty relaxing muscles after a strong contraction. The evidence of Multisystem involvement includes early frontal balding, less than average intelligence, posterior subcapsular cataracts, abnormal cardiac conduction and testicular tubular cell atrophy. In addition, there is wasting of the facial musculature, including the temporalis, masseter, and stemocleidomastoid muscles, which produces a characteristic long face with ptosis, hollow temples, and a hanging jaw. Electromyography is extremely helpful in making the diagnosis. The presence of myotonic discharges in affected muscles is characteristic finding in electromygraphy. Both the amplitude of the potentials and the frequency of the discharges wax and wane. The sound of the discharges is quite characteristic and in their recognition which is similar to a dive bomber sound or motorcycle sound. We recently experienced a case of myotonic dystrophy who complained unusual symptoms such as the left side weakness, proximal muscle weakness rather than distal muscle weakness. So we report this case with review of the literatures.

      • 척추경 나사못 시스템의 극한 단면 하중

        Simplified modeling technique was applied to generate finite element models for lumbar spine and instrumented pedicle screw systems. Three consecutive vertebrae were included in a model, and two level instrumentaion was analyzed. In these simplified models, spring elements and multi-point constraints were used to represent the stiffness of functional spine units. Instrumented screws were modeled by using beam elements constrained to adjacent cancellous bone nodes. External loads on lumbar were estimated from intact models, based on the experimentally noted normal range of motion for flexion, extension, lateral bending and torsion. Compression load was determined by overload assumption based on the weight of human body. These estimated loads were regarded as external loads and applied to instrumented models, and section loads in implanted pedicle screw system were computed. The conditions, magnitudes and locations of critical section loads were sought for and summarized. From the computed internal loads, critical load cases were identified. The effective stresses for the critical cases were evaluated and found to be well below the static strength of titanium alloy.

        과학 교과와 연계된 통합 교육의 국내 연구 동향 분석

        This study analyzed trends in domestic research over the last twelve years before and after the 2009 curriculum revision with respect to integrated science education. The data was reviewed and collected from masters theses, doctoral dissertations, and research articles published from 2001 to 2012. An analyzing framework was developed through literature reviews and content analysis of the previous studies. A total of 329 studies were selected and analyzed by year, type, content, and object of research. In addition, the method of organization of the subject, the elements of integration, and the method of integration among different disciplines were additionally analyzed to discover the trends in integrated teaching-learning programs. The results indicated that the number of domestic studies related to integrated science education increased from 2001 to 2012. The development and application of teaching-learning programs as a form of research, teaching and learning as a research topic, and elementary school students as research objects were conducted more often than other studies. According to an analysis of teaching-learning programs, the subject matter integrated most often with science was fine art, and a theme-based integration approach was applied to the majority of the forms of integrated education. It is therefore recommended that development of teaching and learning materials and teacher training programs in integrated science education will be needed to foster students’ integrated scientific literacy. 이 연구의 목적은 2009 개정 과학과 교육과정이 도입되기 전후 12년 동안 과학교과와 연계된 통합교육의 국내연구는 어떻게 이루어져 왔는지 알아보는 것이다. 이 연구문제를 위해 2001년부터 2012년까지 학술지에 게재된 논문과 학위 논문 329편을 대상으로 그 동향을 분석하였다. 과학교육 연구 측면에서의 연구동향을 알아보기 위해 이론적 배경을 통해 분석틀을 제작 하고 제작한 분석틀에 따라 연도별 연구 형태,연구 방법, 연구 내용, 연구 대상을 분석하였다. 또 분석 대상 논문 중 교수 · 학습 프로그램을 개발한 논문을 개발한 분석틀에 따라 어떤 교과가 과학교과와 통합이 이루어졌는지, 교과의 조직방식, 통합의 조직요소, 학문이 연결되는 방식이 어떠한지를 분석하였다. 연구의 결과 과학교과와 연계된 통합교육의 연구논문이 증가하였고, 연구 유형으로는 교수 · 학습 프로그램의 개발과 적용, 연구 주제는 교수 · 학습, 연구대상으로는 초등학생이 많았다. 지난 12년 동안 개발된 교수 · 학습 프로그램을 분석한 결과, 과학교과와통합을 가장 많이 한 교과는 미술이었고, 통합의 유형은 기여적 통합, 주제 중심 통합, 간학문적 통합이 가장 많았다. 본 연구의 결과를 바탕으로 학생들의 융합적인 소양의 배양을 위해 통합 과학 교육 교수학습 자료의 개발과 교사 연수프로그램의 개발 등을 제언하였다.

      • MR Angio영상의 Ray Casting 가속화 Algorithm에 관한 연구

        Volume render is to visualize 3D (3 Dimension) information, which is used in diverse applications, such as medical imaging, fluid dynamics, meteorology, failure analysis, and molecular modeling. Medical applications are mainly diagnosis. virtual surgery. image guided surgery and others. Most widely used 3D method in MR and CT Images is Ray Casting, It has some shortcomings of the slow rendering speed. In this reason, many 3D volume visualization methods have been developed. General methods are surface and volume rendering. This paper intends to, show that the job related 3D volume visualization let' us be capable of displaying more realistic images than surface rendering. Proposed method is Ray Casting witch Octree algorithm, Which follows as bellow steps. First of all, depth information is made by threshold segmentation. Secondly, depth range is adjusted. Finally, area within specified depth range is processed to produce the result image. In this step, sampling point which is acquired by interpolating voxel is blended as. semitransparent material. Using blending operation, overlapped objects can be displayed correctly. It accelerates the job more than general Ray Casting.
