      • 관광호텔의 외국환 관리에 관한 연구

        The purpose of this study is to deal with the effective management of foreign exchange for improving profitability of tourism hotel, and specially to aim at the gap between the remittance to foreign banks and the collection from foreign banks. This study analyzed the number of foreigners in each deluxe hotel in Seoul, trade status of foreign exchange, and profit from money exchange. An analysis of remittance status of foreign exchange because of commission payment on the management skill from foreign hotel chains and the cost from hiring foreign general manager proves that first, deluxe hotel in Seoul just do their duties as a purchasing foreign exchange, second, cost rate is too high to exchange into Korean Won because they draw the money from foreign banks after purchasing traveler"s check, and third, there are some needless cost in sending the money to foreign banks which is needed for management of tourism hotel. This study has following limitation. First, there are some errors in collecting data and analyzing status because of statistics of the amount of money exchange is not computerized. Second, research objective is restricted as deluxe hotels only in Seoul. Third, American dollar is the key currency in many countries, so there are a lot of difficulties in analyzing status for the scope of money exchange. So, a study that can minimizes errors in collecting data is required and systematic and steady study is urgently needed.

      • 여러가지 벽체조건을 가진 밀폐공간에서 열적쾌적에 대한 수치해석 연구

        This study is investigated for predicting a comfort region in the rectangular enclosure assumed Ondol cavity. Thermal environment is actually a combination of air temperature, mean radiant temperature, air velocity, humidity and two personal factors(clothing insulation and activity level) that will influence a person's perception of warmth or coolness. A comfort region is predicted by obtaining operative temperature(OT). The operative temperature is related with radiant and convective heat flux. The operative temperature of comfort region(thermal neutrality) is 20-24℃ at clo=0.1, met=1.2, RH=0%, -0.5<PMV<0.5 and PPD<10%. Radiant and convective heat flux is obtained for various adiabatic walls. This study is carried out a two dimensional numerical analysis by SIMPLER method. Radiant heat flux is obtained by a simplified zone analysis method. And shape factor is obtained by direct integral method.

      • 大都市 給水施設의 改善方向에 관한 硏究 : 大邱市를 中心으로

        The purpose of this study to develop new and more responsive approaches of effective plan of a large water supply systems for large cities by data analysis of the existing water supply systems and facilities of Taegu city for an example case of the study. The result there of are summarized as follows ; 1) It is necessary to select and develop multiple sources of supply to ensure a constant and safe supply requirement ; the source such as long-term safe source and alternative sources like surface water with raw water reservoirs groundwater and water reuse systems. 2) "Block system " of pipeline network should be adopted for distribution network for whole supply area to ensure efficient and proper operation and maintenance including leakage protection works. 3) The capacity of while water storage reservoirs should be increased and reallocated to ensure level of service for while customers. 4) Boosting pump stations should be properly allocated for efficient supply to consumers during periods of peak demand and drought.

      • 變壓器의 過渡勵磁電流 豫測法

        Accurate modeling of the transformer, including its saturation characteristics, is an important requirement for studying inrush current, overvoltage and ferroresonance conditions. This paper describes a straightforward method of determining the parameters for a standard T-type equivalent circuit representation of the transformer which can be used to predict the inrush current with good accuracy. The method relies on test measurements that can be readily performed on site: there is no need for design data on the transformer. A comparison of the computed waveforms with measured waveforms of the inrush currents of a distribution transformer is used to verify the accuracy of the method.

        웹을 이용하면 전 세계 어디라도 연결할 수 있고, 원하는 정보 또한 쉽게 제공받을 수 있다. 이러한 웹의 장접을 이용하여 다양한 교육용 콘텐츠가 개발되어지고 있다. 본 연구는 C언어 학습 콘텐츠를 개발중 값비싼 C 컴파일러를 구매하지 않고 쉽게 실습할 수 있는 방법으로, 클라이언트에 제한적으로 실행되어지는 C 컴파일러를 인터넷에서 이용하게 한 연구로 LINUX 기반의 서버측 C 컴파일러를 이용하여 프로그램을 작성 실행시켜 보는 시스템을 개발하였다. 구현된 시스템은 상용의 컴파일러를 구매하지 않아도 되는 경제적인 장점을 가진다.

        두개저 골절 환자의 임상적 고찰

        The authors analyzed 147 cases of basal skull fracture which were treated in the Department of Neurosurgery, Chungnam National University Hospital from Janwuy 1989 to December 1992. These fractures are difficult to diagnose by ordinary X-ray examination and are freguently inferred by clinical signs. The clinical features and radiological findings were reviewed. The results of the analysis are summarized as follows 1) The basal skull fractures were more common in men than women-the ratio being 6 1 1. 2) In decreasing order of cause of basal skull fractures were traffic accident~(77%), fall down, assault and slipping. 3) The minor head injury, Glasgow Coma Scale Score(GCS) of 13 to 15, was 79 cases(54%), the moderate head injury 40 cases(27%) and the severe head injury 18 cases(1996). 4) In decreasing order of clinical features were otorrhea(71 I) rhinorrhea(4856) and raccoon eye(33%) etc. 5) In decreasing order of the combined pathologies were skull fracture(55I 1, subdural hema-toma(l7%), epidural hematoma(l6%) and intraerebral hematoma(l2I) etc. 6) The facial nerve, vestibulocochlear nerve and optic nerve were the most commonly injured cranial nerve. 7) CSF leakage was noted in 139 cases and among them immediate type was far more common(%%) than the delayed type. 8) The incidence of meningitis was 5.4% and most of them associated with CSF leakage and the prophylatic antibiotic treatment has no effect to decrease infection rate. 9) In decreasing order of the frequency associated injuries were facial bone fracture (47%), clavicle fracture(19%), lower extremitics fracture(9%) and upper extremcties fracture(7%) etc.

        The transport characteristics of electrolyte osmosis through the perfluorinated cation exchange membrane, Nafion NX-430, was inverstigated. The order of electrolyte permeation velocities of single valent ions was:??>??>??>??. At constant concentration ratio the electrolyte fluxes have shown maximum and minimum values with respect to electrolyte concentration, which is called anomalus osmosis. The correlations between potassium ion fluxes and concentration ratios was shown as follows. ?? The effective charge density calclated from membrane potential was 1% of the fixed charge concentration.

        모기업 협력업체 산업안전보건관리에 대한 인식

        This study is planned to investigate the attitude toward the safety and health management of contractor comparry. Under the contract based production system, all of activities including safety and health management in the contractor company are depended upon the contract. How to make contract influence the worker's health of contractor company. Work's health of contractor company can be protected by efforts of company of contract-out and contractor company, especially their safety managers. The modelling of the effective safety and health management system for contractor company should consider the need of safety manager of each company and employer of contractor company. Data is collected from safety managers of 3 contract out companies as electronic and electrical manufacturing industry and 55 safety managers, 57 employers of their contractor companies using self administered survey with structured questionnaire. The most of all respondents want to support from the contract out companies. The most important items supported from contract out company is the information based on the safety information network between each company. Safety manager and employer of contactor company also itemized safety education and training in the supporting system from contract out company. These results can be generalized to survey on the other industries.

      • 전력선 통신(PLC)을 위한 모뎀 개발에 관한 연구

        PLC (Power Line Communication) is the communication method using the existing power line installed in houses and offices to convert and transmit high frequency communication signal from tens of KHz to tens of MHz, and receive the filtered signal using high frequency filter. The advantage of PLC is that PLC uses the existing power line installed in houses and offices so it does not require separate power line. Easy and convenient access using electric outlets is another advantage of PLC. However, PLC has some disadvantages such as limited transmission power, high load interference and noise, variable signal attenuation, characteristic of impedance, selective possibility of frequency property. This study designed the boiler temperature control system by unit using the modem designed on the basis of technology used for PLC modem. After conducting experiments with systems, it was possible to control stably. By commercializing this product, we can avoid unnecessary heating of separate temperature control unit, and save the cost accordingly.
