Necrotizing fasciitis is defined as infectious disease showing extensive necrosis of the superficial fascia with widespread involvement of the surrounding tissues and concurrent systemic toxicity. It is found commonly in the extremities, the trunk and the perineum, but shows extremely rare occurrence in the well vascularized area such as head and neck area. Occurred in the head and neck area, it is called "cervicofacial necrotizing fasciitis" (CFNF). It is a fatal disease which carries a mortality rate up to 60%. Early diagnosis, aggressive surgical debridement of necrotic tissues and massive antibiotics therapy are essential for achieving a favorable outcome. We present a case of cervicofacial necrotizing fasciitis in 35-year-old male patient with literature review.

Voice Mismatch Meets Neurolinguistics

This paper aims to investigate Korean advanced L2 English learners’ strategies for ellipsis resolution during sentence processing. Ellipsis resolution is known to involve several stages of information processing from the initial step of detecting an ellipsis-licensing element by the parser to the final stage of integrating the ellipsis site with the information retrieved from the antecedent of the ellipsis site. In examining these steps, we have manipulated three factors: (i) TP vs. VP-ellipsis; (ii) two types of discourse coherence relations (resemblance(-contrast) vs. cause-effect relations); (iii) voice match vs. mismatch. We found through the ERP recordings that voice mismatch in TP ellipsis elicited N400, followed by P600, irrespective of discourse coherence relations. In contrast, voice mismatch in VP-ellipsis registered N400 only in resemblance(-contrast) relation, but not in cause-effect relation. These findings lead us to conclude that Korean advanced L2 learners of English seem to undergo the full sequence of processing stages required for ellipsis resolution.

하수에서 분리한 합성세제 분해균의 특성

대구시와 경산시의 하수에서 음이온계 합성세제인 sodium dodecyl sulfate(SDS)와 sodium dodecylbenzene sulfonate(SDBS)를 유일한 탄소원으로 이용하는 균주 289종을 분리하고 이중 합성세제 분해력이 강한, 그람음성 간균으로 운동성인 8균주를 선정하여 그 선정균들의 특성을 조사하였다. 선정균은 40℃ 이상에서는 생육하지 못하였으며 생육 최적 pH는 균주간에 다소 차이가 있었으며 pH 4.0 이하에서는 선정균 모두 생육치 못하였다. 질소원으로는 SDS분해균의 생육에는 potassium nitrate가, SDBS 분해균의 생육에는 soytone이 좋았다. SDS 분해균인 DS-3, 6, 8, 24 및 SDBS 분해균인 BS-7, 8은 세제농도가 5.0% 이상에서도 생육이 가능하였다. 선정균들은 tetracycline에 감수성이 강한 것으로 나타났지만 penicillin에는 강한 내성을 띠는 것으로 나타났고, ??와 ??금속이온은 모든 선정균들의 생육을 억제하는 것으로 나타났다. On purpose to isolate the organisms, which would utilize detergents(sodium dodecyl sulfate, SDS and sodium dodecylbenzene sulfonate, SDBS) as a sole carbon source, from the waste water of Kyungsan and Taegu city 289 strains were isolated. Among them 8 strains, which are gram negative rods with motility and produce strong enzyme to biodegrade the synthetic detergents, were selected. The characteristics of them were investigated as follows, 8 strains were failed to grow above the temperature of 40℃ and below the pH 4.0 even though they have variable optimum pH. Potassium nitrate was very effective for the growth of SDS-biodegradable strains and soytone was effective for the growth of SDBS-biodegradable strains as a sole nitrogen source. Among 8 strains especially DS-3, DS-6, DS-8 and DS-24(SDS-biodegradation strains) and BS-7 and BS-8(SDBS-biodegradation strains) could grow above 5.0% of detergent concentration. All of 8 strains were very sensitive to tetracycline but resistant to penicillin. Selected 8 strains were inhibited by metal ions of ??(0.156mg/㎖) and ??(0.156mg/㎖).

The purpose of this research is to develop method and tool that are available to quantitatively estimate co2 exhaust, energy consumption and resource. This research fixed the basic guidelines as provided by ISO 14040's and composed database of energy consumption unit and CO2 emission unit using input-output analysis. This paper focused on the case study for the apartment housing. The results are as follow ; According to increase of building life, the saving rate of environmental loadings and LCC grows(estimated period:100yr, building life:80yr saving rate LCE:19%, LCCO2:18%, LCC:20%). The operating energy decrease by the national energy efficiency policy measures affect the saving rate of environmental loadings and LCC.

한국형 액체금속로에 대한 신뢰도 분석 방법에 관한 연구

The reliability analysis methods for Korea Advanced Liquid Metal Reactors(KALIMA) are considered in this paper. KALIMA is a new type of reactors and different from the existing reactors. The methods of selecting and analysing the initiating failure events for a power inherently safety module in KALIMA are suggested. And the reliability physical methods for the passive system which is a chief safety system of KALIMA are also investigated.

교육과정 지역화를 위한 충청북도 교육청, 지역 교육청, 각 단위 유치원의 유기적 연계 분석

The purpose of this study is to analyze connection of guidelines of organizationadministration for kindergarten of Chungchongbuk-do Office of Education, guidelines of kindergarten administration of 11 cities and districts in Chungchongbuk-do, and curriculum of each kindergarten. For this research, at first, I analyzed the characteristics of guidelines of organizationadministration for kindergarten of Chungchongbuk-do Office of Education through the related books and formal documents. And then, analysed the connection of guidelines of organizationadministration for kindergarten of Chungchongbuk-do Office of Education, guidelines of kindergarten administration of 11 cities and districts in Chungchongbuk-do, and curriculum of each kindergarten through the analysis of documents and interviews to related people. The study results are like these. First, to the guidelines of organizationadministration for kindergarten of Chungchongbuk-do Office of Education, basic directions, provincial characteristics and empathic contents of curriculum were figured out. Second, related connection of guidelines of organizationadministration for kindergarten of Chungchongbuk-do Office of Education and the guidelines of kinder 373 garten administration of 11 cities and districts in Chungchongbuk-do and curriculum of each kindergarten was found in respect of the performing tasks and empathic strategies in formal documents.

러스킨의 심미적 예술관 연구

The purpose of this paper is to examine John Ruskin's view of Art focusing on the limitations of his idea. Ruskin objected to the mechanical aspects of industrialism and utilitarianism in the 19th century England, and strived to rebuild true human condition of life for embodying true art. He though that art and nature as unified organism, insisting on the organic relation between them, focusing on the unity of man and art. However, the limitations of his idea could be examined in two ways. First, as his idea of reformation is the world being truly based on the religious faith, his view of art contains the concept of class in feudalism. His attitude to emphasize on authority, order, and harmony is wholly originated from his religious sense. The second limitation of Ruskin's idea is that the art proposed by him belonged not to the common people but to the intellectuals. By organic thinking and enlarged perception. Ruskin truly wished to conquer materialism and recover the true human value. In other words, Ruskin evaluated highly a few awakening leaders who could lead the common people. And those awakening leaders were, needless to say, the aristocrats who were taught to perform such tasks. Eventually, Ruskin could not overcome the limitations of Romantic liberalism of middle class.

영도지역 단체급식소의 환경미생물 평가

The environmental microflora at foodservice facilities were examined for the hygienic evaluation. Two universities and two hospital foodservice facilities were selected at Youngdo-Gu, Busan and examined. Total one hundred and eighty swabbed samples using sponge were collected from the surface of environments, utensils and equipments of food service facilities and measured the total, coliform and psychrotrophic count by using tryptic soy agar (TSA), violet red bile agar (VRBA) and TSA, respectively. Sampling sites were the surfaces of floors, shelves, drains, walls, knives, cutting boards, rubber gloves, vinyl aprons, plastic containers, carriers, trays, shelves, dry shelves, storage equipments, food containers, soup containers, rice containers, frying pans, boiling cookers, refrigerators, freezers, dishcloths, serving shelves, and dishwashers. The swabbed samples kept in an ice packed box were transported to a laboratory within two hours of sampling and analyzed. Total counts of surface samples were ranged from 1.20 to 8.19 Log CFU/200cm2. The level of coliforms were ranged from not detectable to 7.23 Log CFU/200cm2. The level of psychrotrophs at refrigerators and freezers were ranged from 3.58 to 6.69 Log CFU/200cm2. There were differences in the level of contamination at the surfaces of environment, utensils, and equipments of foodservice systems. The contamination level of foodservice facilities was resulted in serious condition. Also, the foodservice facilities at universities were more contaminated by microorganisms than that at hospital. The highly contaminated sites were floors, drains, trays, knives, cutting boards, rice containers, boiling cookers and refrigerator, and those sites should be selected as the control points of sanitation standard operating procedures(SSOP). Also, these results clearly demonstrate that special hygienic treatments are necessary those highly contaminated sites at foodservice facilities.

초등학교 운동선수의 영양섭취 실태조사에 관한 연구

This study was aimed at provdie basic data for establishing the dietary guidline of desirable nutritional management status and nutritional and comparing how dietary pattern and nutritional status are different from between elementary school athletes and non-athletes. The subjects of this study con sisted of elementary school students. They were divided into two groups (athletes group and non-athletes group). Athletes group were divided into football(18), baseball(14), basketball(15), swimming913). Dietary intakes of nutrients were assessed by modified 24-hours racall method. Test consisted of writing item was used to asses nutrition knowledge of subjects. Satistical evaluation of ths data was accomplished using a Pentium 586 Computer System and SPSS package. The results were analyed in terms of Means, SD, one-way ANOVA, LSD test, unpaired t-test. A p-values less than 0.05 was considered significant. The result of this study can be summaried as follows : 1. In the elementary school was that mean daily total calories intake appeared to2512.25±29.06Kcal in athletes group, 2220.52±300.83Kcal in non-athletes group. In case of carbohydrates intake was appeared to 355±37.61g/day, in athletes groups, 324.90±37.45g/day. In case of fat intake was appeared to 70.85±11.32g/day in athletes group, 61.28±10.90g/day in non-athletes group. In case of protein was appeared to 115.39±16.77g/day in athletes group, 98.20±17.36g/day in non-athletes group. In case of calories, carbohydrate, fat, protein intake in athletes group were appeared to be higher than non-athletes group. Therefore there were significant difference between two groups (p<.005). 2. In case of intake ratio of RDA in the subjects was surplus intake in all groups. 3. Total calories intake per day were appeared to 2411.89±235.93Kcal in football player, 2589.08±339.95Kcal in basketball player, 2559.94±94Kcal in swimming player. 4. Mean carbohydrates intake per daily were appeared to 341.37±41.24g in football player, 362.04±34.60g in baseball player, 366.30±37.698g in basketball player, 356.91±33.08g in swimming player. 5. Mean fat intake per day were appeared to 66.87±10.31g in football player, 70.91±14.61g in baseball player, 72.14±9.53g in basketball player, 73.42±11.32g in swimming player. 6. Mean protein intake per day wre appeared to 111.14±14.30g in football player, 125.69±23.39g in baseball player, 108.72±11.15g in basketball player, 117.90±11.92g in swimming player. 7. As a results of ANOVA according to the exercise item, caloris, carbohydrates, fat was not significance (p>.005), but protein was appeared to significance (p<0.05).

폐암 환자에서 종격동 임파절 크기와 암전이에 대한 상관관계 연구 : A prospective study of operative and pathologic finding

Computed tomography is being increasingly used for evaluation of mediastinal lymph node in patients with non-small cell luntg cancer. A lack of CT and pathologic correlationled the author to compare the result of CT scans of mediastinal lymph nodes with the result of postoperative pathologic findings. The number of three group patients had been through surgical-pathologic determination of mediastinal node ststus. The first group was a control group containing 10 normal nodes in non cancer patient. The number of non metastatic mediastinal lymph node as second group was 15 and metastatic lymph node of third group was 14. In the study of mediastinal lymph nodes size, maximal long axis diameter and maximal short axis diameter were higher in group 3 than in group 2(P<0.05), and group 3 than in group 1(P>0.05). The sensitivity of preoperative CT scan was 71.4% and specificity was 53.3%, but surgical-pathologic correlation of mediastinal lymph nodes was not statistically significant(P>0.05). In conclusion, the malignant mediastinal adenopathy was depond on size of lymph node. CT staging of the mediastinum in patients with non-small cell lung cancer was clinically not useful.
