The mobile payment system has not only changed the payment pattern but also has improved the performance of small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) and individuals' quality of life by saving their energy, reducing the risk of taking cash, and enabling them to give more time to businesses and do international business. Besides, with the current advancement in the Internet as well as the digital transformation, SMEs are being forced to adopt mobile payment systems (MPS). The purpose of this study is to investigate the effects of technological-organizational-environmental (TOE) determinants on the adoption of MPS and its impact on SMEs' firm performance operating in Ghana. This research employed a closed-ended questionnaire to collect data from January 2020 - April 2020. This study used a structural equation modeling (SEM) approach using SmartPLS 3.0 for path analysis of 145 responses. The findings of the study include the statistically significant effects of technological (relative advantage and compatibility), organizational (top management support and employees' readiness), and environmental (social influence and competitive pressure) factors on the adoption of MPS. Furthermore, this study also proved the positive and statistically significant effect of MPS on SMEs' performance. This study demonstrated that the TOE factor explains 70% variations in the adoption of MPS.

A single multiwinding transformer-based triple-active-bridge (TAB) converter with high power density is a viable candidate for DC microgrid development. However, it comes with a power flow challenge where all the ports are coupled. A power flow decoupling method is proposed for applications of the TAB converter in this paper. The method uses a combination of Proportional Integral (PI) controllers and a lookup table (LUT) that stores decoupling matrices for dynamic decoupling. The proposed decoupling method considers port voltage variations and utilizes only two control variables for voltage regulation. It is designed for application in the islanding mode operation of DC microgrids for DC bus voltage regulation. The feasibility and effectiveness of the proposed power flow decoupling method are verified by simulations and experimental results using an implemented 2 kW TAB converter prototype. Finally, the proposed method shows a 98.95 and a 99.00% improvement in power decoupling according to load variations in the load port.
Metaphors of Election in the Old Testament
( Elisha Kwabena Marfo ) 삼육대학교 선교와사회문제연구소 2020 Asia-Africa Journal of Mission and Ministry(AAMM) Vol.22 No.-
The theme of election is prominent, if not the central theme, in the Old Testament. Election is expressed in some particular terminologies, but very often mirrored otherwise through imageries and metaphors. The election metaphors cover several issues that present themselves in the daily lives of humankind. Metaphors such as parental adoption or father/son relationship, military recruitment, master/servant relationship, shepherd/flock relationship, farmer/plant relationship, potter/pottery relationship, and marital union are used by the Hebrew Bible writers to highlight the theme. This underscores the theological significance of election in the Old Testament. Looking at the different aspects of the election metaphors, it also appears as a concept contributing to the theological coherence of the Old Testament. Thus, the concept belongs to the very theological framework of the Old Testament.

In the present work, spheroidization of angular vanadium powders using a radio frequency (RF) thermal plasma process is investigated. Initially, angular vanadium powders are spheroidized successfully at an average particle size of 100 μm using the RF-plasma process. It is difficult to avoid oxide layer formation on the surface of vanadium powder during the RF-plasma process. Titanium/vanadium/stainless steel functionally graded materials are manufactured with vanadium as the interlayer. Vanadium intermediate layers are deposited using both angular and spheroidized vanadium powders. Then, 17-4PH stainless steel is successfully deposited on the vanadium interlayer made from the angular powder. However, on the surface of the vanadium interlayer made from the spheroidized powder, delamination of 17-4PH occurs during deposition. The main cause of this phenomenon is presumed to be the high thickness of the vanadium interlayer and the relatively high level of surface oxidation of the interlayer.
Isaiah’s Authorship and Methodology: A Historical Review
( Elisha Kwabena Marfo ) 삼육대학교 선교와사회문제연구소 2018 Asia-Africa Journal of Mission and Ministry(AAMM) Vol.18 No.-
The study reviews how scholars have approached the authorship of the book of Isaiah and the kind of methodologies used in analyzing the text along the centuries. This is done in light of the resources which are now available in order to provide a more accurate and up to date assessment of the authorship and methodology which in turn may serve as a solid basis for future exegesis and theological exposition of the book. Following this comprehensive review, the study has found out that beginning in the 20th and 21st centuries, scholarship on the book of Isaiah has displayed interest in the authorship and methodologies employed in the study of the book, but there is seemingly no agreement among scholars. The features of the study of the book in the last two centuries are predominantly the reverberation of arguments and sometimes newer or combined methodologies in approaching the text. A biblical/theological scholarly dialogue to fashion out the best way in dealing with issues in Isaiah is recommended to address the unending discourses and debates on the authorship and methodology of the book of Isaiah. This will bring a lasting settlement to the apparently conflicting positions in Isaianic scholarship.
Archaeological Finds at Shiloh and their Theological/Missiological Implications
( Elisha Kwabena Marfo ) 삼육대학교 선교와사회문제연구소 2019 Asia-Africa Journal of Mission and Ministry(AAMM) Vol.19 No.-
The relationship between archaeology and the Bible has long been debated, leading to conflicting viewpoints on historicity and chronology. Scholars from the diachronic and low chronology perspective consider Israel’s history as either a myth or a later redaction from different accounts/sources. Those from the synchronic and high chronology perspective garner a range of factual relationships. This article which focuses on Shiloh has shown how the archaeological finds from the tell help in understanding the historicity of the Bible, especially the account of Israel’s statement at Shiloh (cf. 1 Sam 4) in the later part of the Late Bronze Age and early period of the Iron Age I. Missiologically, archaeological finds contribute to understanding the biblical narratives and how best the Bible is used for mission. Also, by interlacing the biblical and materialistic history and the reliability of the material culture and findings of Shiloh in the OT, mission can be projected on a more promising way.
The Servant’s Failed Mission A Linguistic Analysis of Isaiah 42:18-25
Elisha Kwabena Marfo 삼육대학교 신학연구소 2020 신학과 학문 Vol.30 No.-
Through linguistic analysis, this article argues that thecontext of Israel’s blindness and deafness combined with the use of and seem to suggest a direct missionary task, probably a failed missionendeavor on the part of Israel. YHWH’s goal of reaching out to the nations andhumanity through Israel breaks down due to Israel’s wilfulness andnoncompliance. Israel’s failure to fulfill YHWH’s mission to her people and thenations’ peoples resulted in YHWH’s condemnation. YHWH’s reproach to theServant as unfit for His missionary task is due to the self-inflicted ailmentsof sins. Again, Israel’s mission has marked similarities to that of theMessiah, for example, her mission responsibility towards the nations. Israelfailed in her mission and awaits a YHWH’s restoration before she can fulfillher mission.
The Interplay of Leadership Styles and Qualities: A Narrative Analysis of 2 Chronicles 32:1-23
( Elisha Kwabena Marfo ) 삼육대학교 선교와사회문제연구소 2017 Asia-Africa Journal of Mission and Ministry(AAMM) Vol.16 No.-
In the narrative of 2 Chro 32:1-23, the characters through different characterization, props, and plots are shown in their many roles as leaders. The leadership qualities of the characters are assessed, and the leadership styles and qualities of Sennacherib and Hezekiah, and God’s work with His people who call on Him are revealed. God’s deliverance of Jerusalem and His divine leadership shows the narrator’s point of view intended for the implied reader. This study shows that the story is a leadership story where God moves from a passive character to an active character who leads His people to victory. The story shows how God carefully watches and works through people to deliver His people. This article notes that one’s style of leadership plays a role in the empowerment and growth of the people he/she leads.
