This study was conducted to demonstrate the effect of the 12- week exercise with the elastic band on physical formulation and health-related physical fitness of 14 female seniors (exercise group of 7 and non-exercise group of 7). The exercise group carried out the elastic band exercise 3 times a week for 12 weeks-1-4 weeks for the basic step, 5-8 weeks for the advanced step and 9-12 weeks for the maintenance step-in the middle-level strength; meanwhile, non-exercise group was ordered to remain in the average life pattern. The results of physical formulation and health-related physical fitness before and after the exercise are as follows: 1. In regard to physical formulation, a meaningful difference was found between two groups, however, fat quantity, fat ratio, body mass index and abdominal obesity ration showed a small declination after exercise in the exercise group, which displayed little difference in statistics. 2. In consideration of health-related physical fitness, balance and abdominal muscular endurance showed a meaningful increase after exercise in statistics, but little meaningful difference was found in flexibility. 3. Considering musculi extremitatis pelvinae strength, there were meaningful statistical increases between groups in the ratio of the per-weight maximum extensor strength of the right lower limb, the per-weight hamstring strength of left lower limb and the hamstring/extensor strength of the left lower limb.

An effort was made to find out effective methods of vegetation establishment on three 17in4s of erosion sites located on steep slope, intermediate slope or top of the hill, Lespedeza bicolor. Robinia pseudoacacia and Arundinella hirta were used as experimental material. Six treatment were broad cast seeding with and without straw mulching, 10 cm drill seeding, 20 cm drill seeding, 20 cm spot seeding and 30 cm spot seeding. The following vesults on the survival of planted seeds, coverage and green weight per area were obtained. 1.Average percent gerwination for the mixed seeds was as low as 6.04%. Regardloss of sites, the percent germination was in order from the highest to the lowest ; drill seeding, broad cast seeding with straw mulching, spot seeding 30 cm, spot seeding 20 cm, and broadcast seeding without straw mulching. 2.The coverage was in order from highest to lowest : broad cast seeding with straw mulching, drill seeding 10 cm, drill seeding 20 cm, spot seeding 20 cm, spot seeding 30 cm and broad cast seeding without straw mulching. The seeding with straw mulching showed twice better coverage (1% level significance) then the seeding without straw mulching. 3.The green weight was in order from highest to lowest ; broad cast seeding with straw mulching, drill seeding 10 cm, drill seeding 20 cm, broad cast seeding without straw mulching, spot seeding 30 cm. Generally the best seeding method for the vegetation establishment on erosion site would be drilling seeding 10 cm. However, the site of steep slope will require more seeds by 43% than the other sites.

The purpose of this study was to identify the effects of isokinetic exercise programs on the muscular function recovery of athletes with chronic ankle sprain. The subjects were 12 male college athletes with chronic ankle sprain assessed by maximum inversion stress roentgnography. 12 participants were randomly assigned into two different treatment groups: concentric isokinetic exercise(CIE, n=6) and eccentric isokinetic exercise(EIE, n=6). The CIE group performed concentric contractions of each ankle dorsiflexor and plantarflexor muscles and the EIE group performed eccentric contractions of each ankle muscle group three days for eight weeks. The instrument was used a spectrum of angular velocities ranging from 30°/sec to 150°/sec with 30°/sec intervals and EMG to record activity of tibialis anterior, soleus, and gastrocnemius, for involved side. The results of this study were following as: 1. Muscular function 1) Dorsiflexors CIE group showed increases (p<.05) in peak torque and peak torque % body weight and EIE group showed marked increases(p<.01) in peak torque % body weight, average power, and total work in the involved side. However, both training groups did not display these marked changes in the uninvolved side after the 8-week period. 2) Plantarflexors EIE group showed marked increases(p<.01) in peak torque and peak torque % body weight but CIE group didn't increase in the involved side. In addition, both training groups did not display these marked changes in uninvolved side after the 8-week period. 3) DF/PF ratio, Average ROM, and IV/UV ratio. CIE group showed marked decreases (p<.01) in the IV/UV ratio of dorsiflexion. However, EIE group did not display these marked changes after the 8-week period. 2. EMG EIE group showed marked increases (p<.01) in the gastrocnemius. However, both training groups did not display marked changes in other sides after the 8-week period. These results also indicated that eccentric isokinetic exercise has a greater influence on muscular function, especially plantarflexor an descending, than concentric isokinetic exercise, however, the improvements in the IV/UV ratio of dorsiflexion were better in the CIE group compared with EIE group after the training. The findings of these results implied that with isokinetic exercise programs used in this study, it is possible to recover muscular function in athletes with chronic ankle sprain. It was also indicated that extensive training involving a high number of repetitions and eccentric contractions was safe, effective, and well tolerated for the athletes with chronic ankle sprain.

The purpose of this study was to figure out the effects of participation in a combined exercise program on the body composition and physical fitness of adults with mental retardation. Fifteen adults with mental retardation in a special institute took part in aerobic and strength , combined exercise at 55 - 69%HRmax at least one hour a day, 3 times a week for 20 weeks. The body composition and physical fitness profiles of subjects were measured before and after training period, respectively. Dependent t-test was used to analyze the statistical significance. The results were as follows; First, participants showed more favorable % body fat, lean body mass, fat mass, WHR after training. Second, participants showed more improved upper body strength and balance after training. The findings imply that the combined exercise program for long duration had significant effects on the health promotion of adults with mental retardation.

Pour Baudelaire, les grands artistes sont des surnaturalisters, meme si on les lour pour la verite de leurs observations et leurs connaissances spirituelles. Baudelaire savait par experience que "ce qui est cree par l'esprit est plus vivant que la matiere" Cela ne veut pas dire qu'il faille eliminer la realite de 1'art, au contraire, il deteste par dessus tout l'academisme et l'eclectisme. Ce qui importe davantage, l'ame de Baudelaire devrait sembler vivante et ardemment vecue, originale, emouvante souvant par ce qu'elle revele de l'homme et autrement actuelle que celle de bien des moralistes. Baudelaire detestait le realisme ou le naturalisme. Il a critique dans "Le Salon de 1846" les peintres qui voulaient avant tout representer la realite ou la nature : La verite dans l'art et la couleur locale ont egare beaucoup d'autres (artistes),‥‥‥‥ Le romantisme n'est precisement ni dans le choix des sujets ni dans la verite exacte, mais la maniere de sentir. Ils l'ont cherche en dehors, et c'est en dedans qu'il etait seulemeat possible de le trouver. <Salon de 1846, Ⅱ, Curiosite esthetique>. Baudelaire, qui croyait fermement a l'analogie universelle et qui la proclamait plus vigoureusement et plus categoriquement que les romantiques de la premiere epoque, trouvait plus commode de fabriquer lui-meme ses analogies que de les decouvrir intuitivement dans la grande Nature. C'etait lui et non pas la Nature qui possedait la clef des correspondances. Le symbole esthetique ou le romantisme baudelairien n'est donc en aucune maniere un approfondissement de la realite ou une vision intuitive des arcanes de la Nature, mais au contraire, une agression centre le reel, un coup de force dont le but est d'imposer l'ordre de l'imagination. Chez Baudelaire la cruaute humaine constitue l'un des meilleurs artifices pour imposer de force l'ordre poetique au reel, qu'elle est a la fois une affirmation spirituelle et une destruction. Le symbole spirituel qui accompagne si souvent le surnaturalisme baudelairien, se rencontre presque aussi frequemment dans "Les Fleurs du Mal" que l'ironie, a tel point qu'on peuttres bien parler du sadisme de Baudelaire, sadisms absolument necessaire a tout artiste qui nretend etre surnaturaliste. Chez Baudelaire la beaute symbolique n'est peut-etre que l'image la plus pure de notre emprise sur le reel, et c'est pour cette raison que les concepts privatifs, les actions destructrices et meme sadique, le theme de l'ennui et de la mort reviennent si frfquemment dans la creation artistique. Cela explique aussi, quoique indirectement, la raison d'etre du travestissement religieux dans certains poemes de Baudelaire, lequel aurait pu, tout comme un autre, ecrire des oeuvres clairement mystiques sans la moindre parodie. Par la recherche de romantisme baudelairien j'ai tache de montrer de quelles multiples manieres la poesie baudelairienne depasse les contingences du monde et du moi. Seuls les poemes existent vraiment et les symboles esthetiques que j'ai cru y decouvrir ne sont que des etres de raison, de pures inventions de la critique servant a exprimer d'une facon aussi incomplete qu'abstraite le continuel depassement de la realite qui fait la beaute symbolique des Fleurs du Mal. "Le romantisme baudelairien, qui se marque par une tension sans cesse maintenue et une volonte de transcendance, reprtsente l'une des plus grandes conquetes artistiques de tous les temps et l'une des victoires les plus eclatantes sur le destin, comme le dirait Andre Malraux" < Andre Malraux, Psychologie de l'Art, VolⅡ, passim.>

The purpose of the present study was to examine the effects of combined training on the changes of body composition, blood lipid profile and fitness in elementary school students. Thirty subjects participated in the present study. The subjects were divided into two groups either exercise group for 10weeks(15n) or control group for 10weeks(l5n) The results were described as follows; 1) There were significant differences in the body weight and lean body mass after the exercise program between two groups. 2) There were no significant differences in the blood TC, HDL-C, LDL-C, TG concentration after the exercise program between two groups. 3) There were significant differences in the sit-up and flexibility after the exercise group between two groups. In conclusion, it might be thought that the combined training improved the levels of body composition and health-related fitness in elementary subjects.

Purpose: This study explored the experiences among Korean American staff members working at Korean nursing homes in the Greater Chicago area. Method: Three staff members from four Korean nursing homes participated in this study. Data were collected from face-to-face, semi-structured in-depth interview. Thematic analysis was applied for data analysis. Result: Korean American staff members' working experiences consisted of three patterns. These included ambivalence, become one family,' and feeling of exhaustion. Korean American elders' adaptation and adjustment processes and contexture factors were presented additionally. Conclusion: Nurse professionals need to specify their roles in nursing homes and to increase public awareness about nursing care in nursing homes.

Au deuxieme chapitre nous avous fait une distinction entre la poesie pure construit l'unite de l'oeuvre et la signification, qui la transforme en multiplicite des formes intellectuelles. Dans les analyses, nous avons montre les sens les plus precis, les pensees pures les plus cachees, ainsi que 1'architecture formelle du poeme. Dans chaque chapitre, nous avons declare une direction du <Moi> pur aux ambiguites en attribuant au poete, d'une facon plus ou moins caracteristique, une intention creatrice. Nous pourrions considerer la poesie pure et moderne de Valery comme un depassement conscient et constant de l'immediat, dont la cotdition prealable serait une aftimation loyale de la vie reelle. La meilleur facon de sacrifier symboliquement le monde et le <Moi> pur a l'esprit poetique c'est d'en reveler la superficialite. Comme le disait Valery : Loin donc que ce saient les elements intuitifs qui donnent leur va- leur aux oeuvres, otez les oeuvres, et vos lueurs ne seront plus que des accidents spintuels, perdus dans les statistiques de la vie locale du cerveau . < Note et Digression> dans "Variete" Dans le troisieme chapitre, il s'agissait de presenter l'intelligence pure par des comparaisons corporelles qui, bien que caracteriser, semblaient parfaitement critiques du <Moi>. Le quatrieme chapitre placait la beaute du symbole qui transcendait toute velleite de sensualite par la poesie pure de "Le Cimetiere marin". Enfin, dans la conclusion de l'etude sur Paul Valery, la poesie pure de Valery triomphait du <Moi> par la recherche des pensees qui se marquent par une tension sans cesse maintenue et une pensee de l'architecture inexorable.

This study was to nuderstand the effect of cooling down after maximal exercise on the lactic of the blood, and the muscular strength. To achieve this purpose, nine athletes of Chung-Nam university were selected as doners. Blood was gathered form each doner at six times, in resting, after maximal exercise, after recovery times(3, 5, 15, 30 minute). The strength was measured after 30minutes maximal exercise. The results were as follow: 1) Lactic acid of the blood Significant differences was appeared at the 15minute and 30minute recovery phase. Also, them were significant in the recovery ration by the three different Cooling down maximal exercise. 2) Strength Measured strength after maximal exercise (at the 30minute) did not appeared significantly.

The purpose of this study was analyze children's Physical Fitness and basic rate by observing the change in the heart rate of the 1230 children of five of six years of age. Following conclusions were obtained The muscular strength was relatively low according to places. And the muscular strength of boys was higher than that of girls. The flexibility of girls was higher than that of boys according to places and sexes. The muscular endurance, power, balance and agility of boys were higher than those of girls according to places and sexes. Thus the development of physical fitness was improved with their ages, the physical fitness for physique seemed rather low. So the programs of physical plays for children's physical fitness ought to be developed and physical play showed to be done at kindergarten school.
