Objectives : Entrapment of the suprascapular nerve is frequently overlooked in the differential diagnosis of shoulder pain. Methods : Suprascapular entrapment neuropathy is a well-defined clinical entity and EMG and NCV is used to confirm a diagnosis. But the diagnosis typically not considered until patients develop severe weakness secondary to atrophy of the spinous musculature that the nerve supplies. Results : A narrow suprascapular notch has rarely been reported as a work-related factor of this entrapment neuropathy. Diagnosis of suprascapular entrapment neuropathy is based on the patients' clinical course, neurologic, radiologic, and electrophysiologic findings. One of the most helpful evaluations was anteriorposterior projection with the X-ray tube angled 15-30 degree caudally. The suprascapular entrapment neuropathy is relatively uncommon entity of shoulder discomfort(pain, weakness, and atrophy). Conclusions : If the worker who used his shoulder joint repetitiously having the shoulder pain and muscle weakness, we must rule out the suprascapular entrapment neuropathy. And it is needed to evaluate the motions which cause suprascapular entrapment neuropathy as the ergonomic factor.

Technetium-labeled phosphate bone scan was shown to detect bone fractures and bone metastasis in early stage than general radiographs. Therefore, bone scan has become one of the most frequently performed nuclear medicine imaging examination. However, non-osseous radiopharmaceutical uptake on the bone scan are unusual findings. We report a case of diffuse splenic absorption of Tc-99m dicarboxypropane diphosphonate in patients who undergo liver transplantation.

생체 조직은 세포 배열이나 조직 형태 등 다양한 차이에 의해 각각 고유의 전기적 특성을 가지며, 생물학적 변화가 일어나면 고유의 전기적 특성이 변한다. 본 연구는 방사선 피폭에 따른 생체 조직의 전기적 특성 변화를 측정하기 위한 선행연구로 측정 과정에서 방사선 피폭 우려가 있으므로, 실험자의 방사선 장애를 방지하기 위해 LabVIEW를 이용하여 자동제어 측정 시스템을 개발한 후 생체 조직의 특성을 평가하고자 하였다. 생체 조직의 전기적 특성 측정전·후 형태학적 변화를 관찰한 결과 조직 변화는 관찰되지 않았으며, 유사한 양상이었다. Impedance/Gain-phase analyzer로 생체 조직의 임피던스를 반복 측정한 결과 변동계수가 10% 미만으로 측정값은 재현성이 있었다. 주파수 변화에 따른 생체 조직의 전기적 특성 중에서 위상차 변화는 거의 없었으며, 조직은 저항성을 나타내었고, 임피던스 크기는 주파수에 비례하여 일정하게 감소하였다. 본 연구를 통해 생체 조직의 전기적 특성 변화를 측정할 수 있는 자동제어 시스템을 개발하였으며, 생체 조직의 전기적 특성을 이해할 수 있었다. Each biological tissue has endemic electrical characteristics owing to various differences such as those in cellular arrangement or organization form. The endemic electrical characteristics change when any biological change occurs. This work is a preliminary study surveying the changes in the electrical characteristics of biological tissue caused by radiation exposure. For protection aganinst radiation hazards, therefore the electrical characteristics of living tissue were evaluated after development of the automatic control measurement system using LabVIEW. No alteration of biological tissues was observed before and after measurement of the electrical characteristics, and the biblogical tissues exhibited similar patterns. Through repeated measurements using the impedance/gain-phase analyzer, the coefficient of variation was determined as within 10%. The reproducibility impedance phase difference in electrical characteristics of the biological tissue did not change, and the tissue had resistance. The absolute value of impedance decreased constantly in proportion to the frequency. It has become possible to understand the electrical characteristics of biological tissues through the measurements made possible by the use of the developed. automatic control system.
Development of Pulsed Power System for 500kA Current Generation

The manufactured pulsed power system with 500kA current is described in this paper. The capacitor bank, control cabinet, do charging unit, closing switch and dumping box, cable system etc. employed with the system components are described. Especially the development of the inverse pinch switch controlled by gas puffing enabled the generation of the very high voltage and current.

This study was performed to improve the flux and filtration resistance of membrane by reducing fouling due to effective water circulation in membrane bioreactor. Applied stirring rate for membrane stirring-cell with effective volume of 300mL ranged from 0 to 400 rpm. MLSS concentration in the membrane bioreactor was in the range of 1400 to 4000 mg/L. As a results, the increase of stirring rate and MLSS concentration increased TMP and the concentrations of particle matter and dissolved organic matter with a slightly increase of capillary suction time(CST) and flux. Filtration resistance of membrane increased with the increase of MLSS concentration, whereas it decreased with the increase of stirring rate. This indicates that the increase of shear force on the surface of membrane due to rapid stirring rate resulted in the control of membrane fouling due to detachment of particulate and dissolved organic matter generated from sludge. These indicate a suitable shear force and MLSS concentration should be considered to be cost-effective operation of membrane bioreactor.

Eighty-nine different types of commercially salt-fermented fishery products comprising various raw materials were analyzed for total aerobic bacteria, number of coliform bacteria, fecal coliform, and Escherichia coli. The food-poisoning bacterial content of the samples was investigated using next-generation sequencing. The mean mass of total aerobic bacteria in Jeotgal was 6-1.8×10<sup>9</sup> CFU/g, and that in Aekjeot and Sikhae was 4-2.2×10<sup>5</sup> CFU/mL and 1.9×105-8.4×10<sup>8</sup> CFU/g, respectively. Coliform bacteria were detected in 9 (28.1%) of 32 Jeotgal samples; 15 (46.8%) of 32 seasonal Jeotgal samples; and in 5 (55.5%) of 9 Sikhae samples. Fecal coliform and E. coli were not detected in 86 of the 89 samples. Yersinia enterocolitica was detected only in Galchi jeot (salt-fermented hairtail) (1 type) and not in other Jeotgal samples. These results contribute to our knowledge regarding the bacterial stability of salt-fermented fishery products.

The study was conducted to compare and evaluate the treatment characteristics of anaerobic-aerobic activated sludge process (A2O) with GAC bed (A2O+GAC) and granular sludge sequencing batch reactor (GS-SBR) processes coupled with membrane filtration (MF) process for wastewater reuse. Influent was used real wastewater for A2O+GAC and synthetic wastewater for GS processes. As a result, the GS-SBR+MF system with HRT 4 hr was very effective in reducing particulate matter as well as organic and nutrient removal. Despite influent with high concentration of COD 300 gm/L, the efficiency of GS-SBR+MF system was similar to that of A2O+GAC+MF with HRT 8 hr and the influent of COD <110mg/L. Transmembrane pressure (TMP) of MF process increased in proportion to the increase of filtration velocity of MF, whereas the efficiency of MF on particulate matter removal slightly decreased with the increase of filtration velocity of MFP due to an improper formation of cake layer on membrane surface. Effluent qualities from both system were adequate for water reuse.

This study was performed to investigate an high densification and a decisive factor for aerobic granulation in sequencing batch reactor (SBR). Experiment was carried out under the reactor height/diameter (H/D) of 3.5-16.0. a cycle of 4 h (inlet 5min, aeration 210-225 min, settling 5-20 min and withdrawl 5 min), and recirculation ratio of 0.3-1.00. Influent characteristics was: COD 310-587 mg/L. T-N 20.0-39.6 mg/L. and T-P 3.1-15.3 mg/L. As a result, the decrease of settling time resulted in the decrease of MLSS concentration in the reactor. The removal efficiency of COD decreased a slightly with the increase of recirculation ratio, whereas the removal efficiencies of nutrient decreased significantly with the increase of recirculation ratio. The results of substrate reduction with height/diameter(HID) ratio of the reactor, recirculation ratio. and settling time showed that the removal efficiencies of COD. T-N and T-P ranged from 96.4 to 97.5%. 58.1 to 66.7%, and 43.0 to 58.6%. respectively.
