        가정편의식 패키지 디자인에 대한 사용자 평가 연구

        이 연구는 고령화 사회 및 개인핵가족사회에 진입하는 우리나라의 현 상황에서 가정편의식 제품을 편리하게 사용할 수 있는 디자인에 대하여 알아보고자 한다. 연구방법으로 첫째, 가정편의식 이론적 고찰로서 문헌자료 및 선행연구조사를 하였다. 둘째, 디자인 조사로서 가정편의식 디자인 사례 분류를 하였다. 셋째, 실제 사용하는 이용자를 대상으로 사용자 평가 및 감성평가 조사를 실시하였다. 제품 디자인 감성평가에 의한 요인분석 결과 3개의 대표 요인으로 분류되어졌다. 1요인은 “형태적 감성”, 2요인은 “기능적 감성”, 3요인은 “심리적 감성”으로 연구자에 의한 대표 감성언어 명칭을 3가지로 부여하였다. 가정편의식 패키지 디자인으로 다음과 같이 제작되어져야할 것이다. 첫째, 용기를 들때 대부분 비닐 용기로 되어져있어 미끄러지고 떨어뜨리기 쉽기 때문에 용기에 그립감을 주어 잘 떨어뜨리지 않게 한다. 둘째, 손목이나 손가락 힘이 약한 고령자를 위하여 쉽게 뜯을 수 있게 제작 한다. 또한, 색상과 관련하여 차가운 한색계열 색상보다는 따뜻한 난색 계열색상을 이용하여 제공한다. While one person household and nuclear family have been increasing, supermarkets began to launch home meal replacement(HMR) promotion. Each brand competes over various types of HMR such as box lunch. In particular, the sales of HMR have been increasing due to one-person households. Experts predicted HMR market will be increased in the future as well. This study presents design evaluation with regards to HMR package design for elders. The methods of this study are: First, research literature review on senior society and analyse the design for both domestic and foreign HMR products. Second, survey on product design for evaluation was conducted. Third, user’s evaluation survey was conducted on elders. As a result, containers mostly came in cup or box shaped package designs. The package provided both still and illustration image of food. The HMR design for elders are recommended as follows: first, HMR should be service designed for users. Second, the design should be for elders as well. Third, the design should be empathetic and abundant. For user-interface, the packaging material shall not be slippery and the shape of grip should be considered thoroughly for the elder’s design.

      • Integrating Creative Problem Solving into the Field of Fashion Education

        Tuban, East Java, Indonesia has a long history. Since centuries ago, Tuban has Fashion professionals these days agree that changes in the fashion business are essential and highly value creativity as a genuine source for generating new ideas in fashion products as well as fashion business practices. As fashion professionals deal with problems of which solutions do not exist or that need innovative solutions for brand or product differentiation in the fast-paced environments, interest in creativity and creative problem solving in the field has increased; therefore, fashion educators have realized that there has been an increasing need for incorporating creativity or creative problem solving into the fashion curriculum. In this study, the researcher intended to review previous research on the use of creative problem solving in classrooms in various disciplines including the field of fashion education to provide insights and suggestions for fashion educators to integrate creative problem solving into the fashion education curriculum. Previous attempts to apply creative problem solving to solve issues in fashion classrooms have mostly limited to promoting divergent thinking techniques. It is suggested for fashion educators as well as fashion students to consider creative problem solving as a process consisting of the four distinct stages in which both divergent and convergent thinking techniques should be properly utilized stimulating various thinking strategies.

      • Surgical management of lipomas: Proposal of the Z-incision design and surgical algorithm based on tumor size

        Background: Surgical excision is the treatment of choice for lipomas. However, linear incision methods or minimal extraction techniques often do not provide a sufficient surgical view. Therefore, removing large lipomas is often difficult. Objectives: To present the Z-incision and half Z-incision designs for lipoma extraction Methods: This retrospective study analyzed lipomas surgically excised at our institution between September 2015 and December 2018. Results: A total of 84 lipomas were included. A Z- or half Z-incision was used to treat 30 lipomas, while a linear incision was used to treat 54 lipomas. The mean diameter of the mass in the Z- or half Z-incision group was 47.7 mm (range, 15-160 mm), larger than that in the linear incision group (25.5 mm; range, 7-59 mm) (p < .001). The Z-incision involved making rectangular windows by lifting 2 triangular flaps. According to our mathematical model, the Z-incision provided a larger surgical field area than that provided by the linear incision based on stretched angles (1.81 times larger at 30° and 3.14 times larger at 15°). The Z- and half Z-incisions were successfully performed in all but 1 lipoma (29 lipomas, 96.7%). Conclusion: The Z-incision design can be a useful alternative technique for the extirpation of lipomas, especially large lipomas. Here, we proposed a surgical algorithm for lipoma surgery based on tumor size.

        Multiple crack evaluation on concrete using a line laser thermography scanning system

        This paper proposes a line laser thermography scanning (LLTS) system for multiple crack evaluation on a concrete structure, as the core technology for unmanned aerial vehicle-mounted crack inspection. The LLTS system consists of a line shape continuous-wave laser source, an infrared (IR) camera, a control computer and a scanning jig. The line laser generates thermal waves on a target concrete structure, and the IR camera simultaneously measures the corresponding thermal responses. By spatially scanning the LLTS system along a target concrete structure, multiple cracks even in a large scale concrete structure can be effectively visualized and evaluated. Since raw IR data obtained by scanning the LLTS system, however, includes timely- and spatially-varying IR images due to the limited field of view (FOV) of the LLTS system, a novel time-spatial-integrated (TSI) coordinate transform algorithm is developed for precise crack evaluation in a static condition. The proposed system has the following technical advantages: (1) the thermal wave propagation is effectively induced on a concrete structure with low thermal conductivity of approximately 0.8 W/m K; (2) the limited FOV issues can be solved by the TSI coordinate transform; and (3) multiple cracks are able to be visualized and evaluated by normalizing the responses based on phase mapping and spatial derivative processes. The proposed LLTS system is experimentally validated using a concrete specimen with various cracks. The experimental results reveal that the LLTS system successfully visualizes and evaluates multiple cracks without false alarms.

      • A case of long-standing multiple recalcitrant warts harboring high-risk human papillomavirus evolving into squamous cell carcinoma

        A 48-year-old woman with a history of multiple recalcitrant warts presented with an enlarging mass that accompanied intermittent bleeding in her right index finger over the last few years. Previously, she had been treated for recalcitrant warts of fingers and toes including her right index finger for more than 15 years with various treatment modalities including oral isotretinoin, topical imiquimod and pulsed dye laser. Only partial improvement was observed and the patient was lost to follow-up for the last 5 years. Physical examination revealed a chestnut-sized flesh-colored friable fungating mass in the distal part of her right index finger. Skin biopsy from the right index finger revealed SCC. Subsequent HPV genotyping revealed high-risk (HPV 16, 51, 53, 56) and low-risk HPV (HPV 11) infection. She was referred to the department of Plastic Surgery for surgical excision with additional examination for the remaining skin lesions. Eventually, her right index finger was amputated. In further examination, SCC was additionally confirmed in right 3rd finger, right 4th finger, left thumb, left 3rd finger, left 4th finger, right 2nd toe and left great toe which were previously consistent with verruca vulgaris. Left thumb and right 2nd toe were amputated and other aforementioned lesions were excised surgically. In summary, long-standing recalcitrant warts can evolve into SCC, especially with high-risk HPV infection.

        Facial Cutaneous Rosai-Dorfman Disease: Dermoscopic Findings with Successful Surgical Treatment

        Rosai-Dorfman disease (RDD) is a rare non-Langerhans cell histiocytosis characterized by an accumulation of activated histiocytes within the affected tissues. It is a heterogeneous disease that includes the classical (nodal) and extra-nodal variants. The cutaneous form of the disease without the characteristic lymphadenopathy is rare and is often misdiagnosed as other dermatologic diseases. Misdiagnosis as lymphoproliferative and infectious diseases such as lymphoma and tuberculosis have been reported in the literature. Herein, we report a case of facial cutaneous RDD with successful surgical treatment. In addition, we provide dermoscopic findings and literature review as dermoscopy can be a useful adjuvant tool in the diagnosis of cutaneous RDD.
