K<SUB>S</SUB><SUP>0</SUP>K<SUB>S</SUB><SUP>0</SUP> production in two-photon collisions has been studied using a 397.6 fb<SUP>-1</SUP> data sample collected with the Belle detector at the KEKB e<SUP>+</SUP>e<SUP>-</SUP> collider. For the first time the cross sections are measured in the two-photon center-of-mass energy range between 2.4 GeV and 4.0 GeV and angular range |cosθ<SUP>*</SUP>|<0.6. Combining the results with measurements of γγ->K<SUP>+</SUP>K<SUP>-</SUP> from Belle, we observe that the cross section ratio σ(K<SUB>S</SUB><SUP>0</SUP>K<SUB>S</SUB><SUP>0</SUP>)/σ(K<SUP>+</SUP>K<SUP>-</SUP>) decreases from ∼0.13 to ∼0.01 with increasing energy. Signals for the χ<SUB>c0</SUB> and χ<SUB>c2</SUB> charmonium states are also observed.

AleCueAg eutectic alloy was directionally solidified upwards with different growth rates (1.83e 498.25 mm/s) at a constant temperature gradient (8.79 K/mm) and with different temperature gradients (3.99e8.79 K/mm) at a constant growth rate (8.30 mm/s) by using a Bridgman type directional solidification apparatus. The dependence of microhardness (HV) on the growth rate (V), temperature gradient (G) and microstructure parameter (l) were found to be HV ¼ k1 V0.10, HV ¼ k2 G0.13 and HV ¼ k3 l 0.22, respectively. The electrical resistivity of the AleCueAg eutectic cast alloy increases linearly with the temperature in the range of 300e780 K. The enthalpy of fusion and specific heat change during melting for same alloy were also determined to be 223.8 J/g, and 0.433 J/g K, respectively by a differential scanning calorimeter from heating curve during the transformation from eutectic solid to eutectic liquid.

This study was performed to offer rapid and accurate methods of both sire selection and dairy cattle improvement, according to analyzing loci of κ-casein and β-lactaglobulin in Korean dairy cattle. The blood samples used in this study were taken from the 45 Holstein cattle in the nearby Kyung gi province, where milk was sold to Kon-Kuk milk plant. The results obtained were as follows; 1. This study established the extracting method of high quality DNA from the 45 Holsteins blood samples by using phenol and the analysis of κ-casein and β-lactoglobulin polymotphisms by using PCR. 2. Due to the amplification of κ-casein and β-lactoglobulin loci by using PCR, this study confirmed amplified products of 8746p and 961bp, respectively. 3. Due to the restricted enzyme digestion of Taq I and Hind Ill in amplified products of κ-casein, AA type with Hind III and Taq I showed no change of size in amplified products and BB type with Hind III showed 525bp and 350bp fragments and with Taq I showed 558bp and 317bp fragments, respectively. 4. Due to the restricted enzyme digestion of Hph I in amplified products of β-lactoglobulin, all lanes which were digested by restriction enzyme showed 961bp and 741bp fragments and A.4 type showed 220bp, while AB type showed 220bp and 166bp, and BB type showed 166bp fragments, respectively. 5. The κ-casein genotype of Holstein by restricted enzyme digestion gives frequencies of 75.55%, 17.78%, and 6.67%r for AA, AB, and BB types and for A and B alleles being 0.84 and 0.16, respectively. Restriction enzyme digestion of the β-lactoglobulin genotype of Holstein gives frequencies of 34.38%, 43.74%, and 21.88% for AAA, AB, and BB types and for A and B alleles being 0.56 and 0.44, respectively. 6. The fitness test(x²-test) for genotype frequencies of κ-casein and β-lactoglobulin showed gene equilibrium with AA. AB and BB, and β-lactoglobulin indicated Hardy -Weinberg equilibrium in the ratio of being 1:2:1. 7. The genotyping of κ-casein and β-lactoglobulin loci can be utilized for finding the association between genotypes and production traits in dairy cattle.
Novel K/Ka Bandpass Filters using LIGA Micromachined Process

New class of three dimensional (3-D) micromachined microwave planar filters at K and Ka-band are presented using LIGA micro-machined process. The K-and Ka-band filters show wide bandpass characteristics of~36% and ~39% with the insertion loss 1.26dB at 19.11GHz and 1.7dB at GHz, respectively. These filters can be applicable in high power MMIC of MIMIC.
Multi-band Conduction Behaviour at the Interface of LaAlO3/SrTiO3 Heterostructures

We have measured the Hall resistance and magneto-resistance (MR) of LaAlO3/SrTiO3 heterojunctionsat magnetic fields up to 30 T in a temperature range T = 4 K to 70 K. For temperaturebelow 7 K and above 50 K the devices display linear Hall resistance, indicating that one typeof charge carriers dominate the transport. For temperatures between 10 K and 40 K, the Hallresistance is strongly non-linear, and is accompanied by a large positive MR, which is governedby the component of magnetic field normal to the interface. This behaviour in the intermediatetemperature regime can be related to thermally activated high-mobility carriers.

<P><B>Abstract</B></P><P>We report measurements of radiative <I>B</I> decays with Kηγ final states, using a data sample of 253 <SUP>fb−1</SUP> recorded at the ϒ(4S) resonance with the Belle detector at the KEKB <SUP>e+</SUP><SUP>e−</SUP> storage ring. We observe <SUP>B+</SUP>→<SUP>K+</SUP>ηγ for the first time with a branching fraction of (8.4±1.5(stat)−0.9+1.2(syst))×<SUP>10−6</SUP> for <SUB>MKη</SUB><2.4 GeV/<SUP>c2</SUP>, and find evidence of <SUP>B0</SUP>→<SUP>K0</SUP>ηγ. We also search for B→K3∗(1780)γ.</P>
Pt(111) 표면 위에 증착된 Fe 초박막의 산소 흡착에 관한 연구

내각준위 X선 광전자 분광법을 이용하여 Pt(111) 표면 위에 증착된 Fe 초박막의 산소 흡착에 대한 연구를 수행하였다. 6개 단층 이하의 두께를 갖는 Fe 초박막을 상온에서 산소에 노출시켜 산소 원자가 화학흡착된 것을 확인하고, 후열처리 과정에 따른 탈착 및 Fe층의 변화를 살펴보았다. 흡착된 산소 원자는 $600{\sim}700K$에서 부분적으로 탈착되고, 700 K 이상에서 Fe 원자들이 Pt 기판 안으로 섞여 들어감을 내각준위 스펙트럼 세기들로부터 알 수 있었다. Fe 원자들과 Pt 원자들 간의 섞임은 산소가 흡착되지 않은 경우와 거의 동일한 경향을 보였으며, 섞임에 의한 Fe-Pt 합금의 형성은 Fe $2p_{3/2}$ 광전자 스펙트럼의 속박에너지의 변화로부터 확인할 수 있었다. 탈착되지 않고 남은 산소의 양은 전체의 1/2로서 속박에너지가 $600{\sim}700K$ 사이에서 탈착된 산소보다 약 1.3 eV 커서 Fe층 위에 흡착된 산소들과는 다른 상임을 알 수 있었다. 이들 산소 원자는 1000 K에서야 탈착되었다. We have studied the chemisorption of oxygen at room temperature on Fe layers deposited on Pt(111) substrates by using core-level X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy. It was found that the oxygen atoms are chemisorbed when the thickness of the Fe layers is not larger than 6 monolayers. Upon post-annealing, it was found that part of the chemisorbed atoms are desorbed at a temperature range 600 - 700 K, after which the intermixing between Fe and Pt atoms occurs. The overall trend of this intermixing was very similar to the Fe/Pt(111) surface without oxygen exposure. The remaining oxygen adatoms, the amount of which is about a half of the total, were found to be eventually desorbed from the surface upon post-annealing at 1000 K. The binding energy of this phase was higher than that of the oxygen atoms desorbed at lower temperatures by 1.3 eV.
한우혈액형의 phenogroup 과 아형관계에 관한 연구

This experiment was carried out to clarify the phenogroups and subtype relationships of bloodtype antigens appeared in Korean Native Cattle. Fifty-two standard antisera(reagents) which were standardized by International Society for Animal Blood Group Research were introduced for bloodtyping of 213 Korean Native Cattle. And computer program II-2 and I-2 were used to find phenogroups. 1. In A system, 4 kinds of phenogroups; A₁, A₂ A₁Z` and $quot;-$quot; were appeared in Korean Native Cattle and A₁ Phenogroup showed the highest gene frequency(0.5065). Z`-A₁-A₂ linear subtype relationship was proved in Korean Native Cattle. 2. In B system, 49 kinds of phenogroups were appeared in Korean Native Cattle. And B-K, linear subtype relationships and A`₁-A`₂ A`_x, non-linear subtype relationship were approved. In G₁-G₂-G_x non-linear subtype relationship, G₂ antigens without G₁ and G_x antigens were appeared. 3. In C system, C₁-C₂. R₁-R₂ linear subtype relationship and X₁-X₂-X` non-linear subtype relationship were appeared in Korean Native Cattle. 4. In F system, 7 kinds of phenogroups : F, V₁, V₂, FN`, V₁N`, FV₂N` and $quot;-$quot; were appeared in Korean Native Cattle and FV₂N` phenogroup which had not emerged in other species of East Asian cattle showed gene frequency of 0.0013. In V₁-V₂ linear subtype relationship, V₁ antigens without V₂ antigens were appeared in Korean Native Cattle. 5. In S system, 5 kinds of phenogroups : H`U₁, SH`, H`, U` and $quot;-$quot; were appeared in Korean Native Cattle and H` and U` phenogroups showed relatively high gene frequencies, 0.2523 and 0.2614, respectively. U₁-U₂-U` non-linear subtype relationship was appeared in Korean Native Cattle. 6. In J, L, Z and R`-S` system, two kinds of alleles were appeared in Korean Native Cattle, respectively. The gene frequencies of J. L, Z and R`-S` alleles were 0.1279, 0.0383, 0.4827 and 0.0024, respectively.
제주한우 교잡종의 혈청단백 유전적 변이 구명에 관한 연구

This paper identifies genetic distance between breeds in order to clarify genetic constitutions of livestock population using electrophoresis of polyacrylamide gels. The results of this study are surrmarised as follows ; The frequencies on the albumin aleles (AIb^(F), AI^(S)) were 0.800 and 0.200 in Cheju Native Cattle; 0.500 and 0.449 in BK in (Brahman X Cheju Native Cattle): 0.467 and 0.553 in B^(2)K;0.500 and 0.500 in cross breds of B^(3)K. The frequencies of heterozygote per locus of albumin in Cheju Native Cattle. Brahman X Cheju Native Cattle crossbred were 0.320 and 0.495~0.500 respectively. The frequencies of the transferrin alleles were Tf^(D) 0.600 and Tf^(E), 0.400 in Cheju Native Cattle. In crossbreds, the frequencies observed (Tf^(A), and Tf^(E)) were 0.095. 0.435 and 0.472 for the BK, 0.83 0.475 and 0.442 for the B^(2)K ; 0.042, 0.583, and 0.375 for the B^(3)K. The frequencies of the heterozygote per locus of transferrin were 0.048 in Cheju Native Cattlr College of Agriculture, Chelu National University) and 0.579, 0.572, 0.518 in crossbred of BK, B^(2)K and B^(3)K respectively.

[ $CuInTe_2$ ] 다결정은 수평전기로에서 합성하고, $CuInTe_2$ 단결정은 수직 Bridgman 방법으로 성장시켰다. $CuInTe_2$ 단결정의 c축에 수직 및 평행한 시료의 광전도도와 광발광특성을 293K에서 20 K의 온도영역에서 측정하였다. 측정된 광전류 봉우리로부터 구한 c축에 수직 및 평행한 시료의 에너지 띠 간격은 상온에서 각각 0.948 eV와 0.952 eV였다. 광전류 봉우리와 광발광 봉우리의 에너지차는 포논에너지이며 상온에서 c축에 수직 및 평행한 시료의 에너지차는 각각 22.12 meV와 21.4 meV였다. 또한 광전류 스펙트럼으로부터 시료의 spin-orbit 상호작용과 결정장 상호작용에 의한 가전자대의 갈라짐 ${\Delta}cr$과 ${\Delta}so$는 각각 0.046, 0.014 eV였다. [ $CuInTe_2$ ] synthesised in a horizontal electric furnace was found to be polycrystalline. Single crystals of $CuInTe_2$ were grown with the vertical Bridgman technique. The photoconductivity and photoluminescence of the crystals were measured in the temperature range 20 to 293 K. From the photocurrent peaks measured for the samples both perpendicular and parallel to c-axis, the energy band gaps of the samples were found to be 0.948 eV and 0.952 eV at room temperature respectively. The energy difference of the photocurrent and photoluminescence peaks of the samples both perpendicular and parallel to the c-axis measured at room temperature was a phonon energy, and its values were 22.12 meV and 21.4 meV respectively. The splitting of the valence band due to spin-orbit and crystal field interaction was calculated from the photocurrent spectra of the samples, The ${\Delta}cr\;and\;{\Delta}so$ are 0.046,0.014 eV respectively.
